It completely deserves the reputation as the elegant 5-star Japanese hotel with a tradition of over a century. The Japanese detailed-minded and dedicated services provided by every member of the staff are impressive. They are always more than helpful.
My luggage was already handled by the bellboy before I got into the entrance. The staff member whose surname is 茨木 (Ibaragi?) accompanied me to the guestroom and made neat and helpful introduction to the facilities of the room as well as the hotel as a whole.
Room cleaning / tidying services were provided at least two times per day.
On the day my friend and I checked out, my friend inadvertently lost her phone at the washroom in the public area of the hotel, but with the dedicated assistance of the staff members, the phone has been found. We are more than grateful for their great help.
The hotel bar, the Old Imperial Bar, serves high quality cocktails and has a wide range of collection of good whiskies, which is a must-go if you have an opportunity to visit the hotel.

Our experience at Shinagawa Prince Hotel was mixed.
Upon arrival, we were immediately directed to a self check-in machine, with no human interaction or guidance. We were required to pay a local tax on the spot, and the machine printed multiple tickets along with our room cards. The process felt cold and confusing, especially for first-time visitors. Our room number appeared as a 5-digit code, and with three different buildings on the property and no staff to assist, it was a bit of a challenge to figure everything out on our own.
Eventually, we were told to make our way to the Annex Tower, which required taking two different elevators while navigating through a shopping arcade. Not the warmest welcome.
The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the view was excellent – as expected since we chose a high-floor room. However, breakfast was overpriced, and check-out time was at 11:00 a.m. instead of the usual noon, which felt unreasonable. We were even called in our room to be reminded to leave quickly.
There is no microwave available anywhere in the hotel, which is inconvenient. While the location is great during the day, there’s not much to do in the area after 10:00 p.m. apart from a nearby 7-Eleven.
Embark on an unforgettable Tokyo journey from the heights of luxury at Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel. Perched just moments from Tokyo Station and iconic landmarks like theme parks in Maihama and Shibuya Crossing, our 11-story oasis seamlessly blends traditional Japanese charm with modern comfort. Relax in our cozy rooms, rejuvenate in our serene Bath House with sauna, and indulge in delectable French-Japanese cuisine at TIDE TABLE Shiomi. No complaints about this hotel! Location is good, 2mins to the train station, family mart in the same hotel building, supermarket and a restaurant next to the train station that opens till late night.
Rooms are spacious, bathroom space is well planned for efficient use for a family. There's also complimentary skin/hair care packs that you can collect at the reception area.
Also comes with a guest only onsen (which you can also monitor through your room TV screen for crowd level).

Everyone is polite and helpful, greet you every time when you pass by. Definitely worth the money, but the only thing to complain is that rhere is no socket beside your bed which is inconvenient.

The Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusa Tawaramachi provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Tokyo will find that the Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusa Tawaramachi is a fantastic accommodation choice. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Asakusa Station located approximately 900m away and Haneda Airport roughly 24km away. Just a short walk from Tawaramachi Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. Keeping busy is easy, with Sumida Park, Tokyo Cruise Asakusa Pier and Nakamise Shopping Street all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

This hotel is conveniently located in the Asakusa area, with easy access to Asakusa Station. However, I recommend getting off at Tawaramachi Station (G18) and using Exit 1, which is just 280 meters away—less than a 5-minute walk. The room is spacious enough for two people, even with two large pieces of luggage. A nice touch is the LG Styler Steam Closet in every guest room, which is perfect for dry cleaning and refreshing clothes. You can store your luggage at the front desk free of charge, which is very convenient. If you need to pack your bags and use vacuum-seal bags, they’re available for a small fee at the lobby. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, yet still be close to the main tourist spots. (Convenient Store; Family Mart is on the ground floor)

Fantastic hotel in a great location right off the Ginza metro line. Great restaurant and the bar has an amazing view of the city lights in the evening and of mt Fuji in the day. The service from check in to departure was top notch. Everyone that works at the hotel is friendly and super helpful. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had.

Hotel location is great, very close to JR, Metro and Skyliner. Staff super nice and helpful. Will most definitely stay again.
However, room cleanliness needs improvement, found some stains on bathroom wall that can be easily wiped off with a wet tissue.

FFengyinI’ve wrote a prose for this travel.
If you want to stay in a quiet place, here would satisfy you.Last year,I stay in Nerima for 2 months for healing,Nerima’s tranquility impressed me deeply.Tokyo is a noisy and messy city, but if you want to have another different experience,Nerima would be a nice place, although here doesn’t have any scenic spots.Back to this homestay,it’s not a hotel nor a hostel,it’s small even a little bit narrow, but you can feel peaceful and relieve yourself.
