GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, lots of small shops around, plus family mart on the ground floor. There are several subway stations about 4-5 minutes away, so getting to Ueno, Nihonbashi, Shibuya and Haneda Airport is fast and convenient. The hotel has great open roof area. The view of ShyTree was stunning and the room spacious.

QQrr.This hotel feels remarkably spacious for a Japanese hotel; you can fully open your suitcase without it getting in the way. For my last three trips to Tokyo, I've chosen the Ueno Garden hotels, and each one has been very comfortable.
There's a convenience store right across the street if you turn right, and plenty of dining options nearby. The only minor drawback is that you have to cross a pedestrian bridge when coming from Ueno Station, which can be a bit confusing. I think it's easier to exit from the Panda entrance. Google Maps led me down a path without an elevator, so I just ended up wandering around without navigation! 😂 Also, the pedestrian bridge elevators stop working at night, so if you have luggage, that's something to keep in mind.

GGuest UserClean hotel near Asakusa. Book this about 2 months before our trip and got it at a great price. Seen several negative reviews...so was not sure if I have got the right choice 😉.
Just need to be sure that the access code is received a day before your stay. Will require a bit of time to check in as there's no reception like a regular hotel. Once you are done, contact the customer service and room number will be given.
Witnessed a few travellers facing problems checking in. Glad we had a smooth check in.
