With a stay at HOSHINOYA Tokyo, you'll be centrally located in Tokyo, within a 5-minute drive of Tokyo Imperial Palace and Nippon Budokan. This luxury ryokan is 1.7 mi (2.8 km) from Tokyo Dome and 1.7 mi (2.8 km) from Ueno Park. Enjoy recreation amenities such as hot springs or take in the view from a garden. Additional features at this ryokan include complimentary wireless internet access and gift shops/newsstands. Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, or stay in and take advantage of the ryokan's 24-hour room service. Full breakfasts are available daily from 7 AM to 11 AM for a fee. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Make yourself at home in one of the 84 guestrooms featuring refrigerators and minibars. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and flat-screen televisions are provided for your entertainment. Private bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers feature deep soaking bathtubs and rainfall showerheads. Conveniences include phones, as well as safes and coffee/tea makers.

"Hoshinoya Tokyo is situated in a tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, uniquely blending a traditional Japanese garden with a high-rise hotel concept. While its immediate surroundings are dominated by corporate offices like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, its location isn't as prime as other similarly priced luxury hotels such as The Peninsula Tokyo or Bulgari, with a noticeable lack of nearby dining options or convenience stores. The service, on the other hand, truly made guests feel at home. Each floor boasts a dedicated Japanese-style common area, but the atmosphere felt a bit too rigid or rule-bound. For example, when I asked for a second welcome dessert, it wasn't possible. However, I would strongly advise against staying here for a business trip. Firstly, the hotel's policy of not allowing unregistered guests to enter is quite inconvenient and arguably unsuitable for a business-oriented establishment. Secondly, the hotel itself offers a rich array of experiences – from its two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant to kimono fittings, tea ceremonies, kendo classes, hot springs, and sightseeing bicycles. These features highlight its strong appeal for leisure travel, making it less ideal for business."

"This is a century-old, five-star hotel in Tokyo with a rich history, and I booked it specifically for that reason, staying for two nights. As expected, the service was top-notch; my luggage was delivered directly to my room. The public areas are fully carpeted, adding a real sense of grandeur. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. It's also conveniently located near Yurakucho Station, just be mindful of the exit."

WWU.NIENENFrom the moment I arrived at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance and understated luxury. The hotel exemplifies a rare balance between contemporary sophistication and timeless Japanese hospitality, making every interaction feel both personal and profound. The guest rooms are nothing short of extraordinary—thoughtfully designed, immaculately maintained, and offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline. Each detail, from the choice of materials to the intuitive layout, reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence. Dining at the property is a remarkable journey in itself. Every restaurant presents not only world-class cuisine but also a sense of artistry and cultural depth. The staff demonstrate genuine passion and precision, ensuring that each culinary experience becomes an indelible memory. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its service. The team embodies the very spirit of omotenashi—anticipating needs with effortless grace and delivering them with warmth and sincerity. It is this quiet yet meticulous attentiveness that transforms a stay into an experience of unparalleled comfort. Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo is not merely a place to stay—it is a sanctuary in the heart of the metropolis, where moments are elevated into memories. It remains, without question, one of the finest hotels in the world.

UUtkarsh05This was my first time staying at The Peninsula Tokyo, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we began corresponding with the hotel before arrival, the team made it clear that this was going to be a special stay. I had reached out in advance as this was an important trip for our family, and the team – especially Ms. Kim – went above and beyond to help organise everything smoothly. Every detail was handled with care, and it really set the tone for our visit. Throughout our stay, every interaction made us feel genuinely welcome. The lobby team, the staff at Peter, and housekeeping were all consistently warm, professional, and attentive. Small gestures, friendly smiles, and a real willingness to help turned a simple hotel stay into a collection of memories we will cherish for a long time. This trip has made The Peninsula Tokyo our new fav stay in the city. There is a wonderful sense of warmth and hospitality here, and you feel that everyone is truly invested in making your stay as special as possible. We are already looking forward to returning on our next visit to Tokyo.

MmandyshaoJust finished a three-night stay at the Fairmont, and since I saw the JW Marriott was also new, I decided to switch hotels to experience it for two nights. Everything was satisfactory, except the view was a bit ordinary, and there was a big construction site next door with a very noisy train.

のんさまさまThis was my second stay at Executive House Zen. Zen may have been what got me hooked on club lounges. I've been to many club lounges in Tokyo, but this one is hands-down the best. The club lounge is relaxing, the views are amazing, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. After arriving and checking in, I was shown to the lounge and treated to candy tea. I was about an hour early, but I was shown to my room. The room was clean, and the amenities, including Ferragamo shampoo and body soap, had a gorgeous scent. The hair dryer was a Dyson. I loved the body pillow on the bed, lol. There were six food presentations in total. I drank alcohol the whole time. There was an unlimited selection of champagne, beer, various cocktails, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. The first afternoon tea was an all-you-can-eat affair, featuring Satsuki's super melon shortcake, strawberry shortcake, Pierre Hermé croissants, cookies, macarons, various sweets, soup, and more. It was absolutely amazing. As night fell, we were treated to a panoramic view of Tokyo and the food selection changed to fresh vegetable sticks, pinchos, prosciutto, cheese, and smoked salmon, all perfect for pairing with alcohol. For a nightcap, we had Pierre Hermé chocolate and potato chips. With our stomachs full, we headed to Satsuki on the lobby floor for the new, best breakfast buffet. This buffet offered a wide selection of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, including freshly made rice balls, salmon roe, omelets made right in front of us, Pierre Hermé bread, fresh salads, and fruit!! Satsuki was a little noisy, but with our stomachs full, we headed to the spacious lounge for a drink, but we couldn't help but eat Pierre Hermé croissants and other treats. After that, we were able to use the lounge until check-out, so we were able to come and go as we pleased while relaxing in our room. Our stomachs were full and our hearts were satisfied; it was the best two-day, one-night stay ever!! I highly recommend it.

RRouruodebunengziliThe location is superb, right in Ginza. You can step out and immediately start shopping, with Isetan and Chanel just downstairs. It's even more convenient than staying at the Aman. While the hotel isn't huge and can't be compared to an Edition in China, it's excellent for Japan. The service, in particular, is outstanding. Every time you come back or leave, countless staff members greet you – almost to the point of being overwhelming! The room is spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the bedding is incredibly cozy, especially the pillows. They're exactly the soft type I prefer.

Great
GGuest UserThis hotel is conveniently located right next to Tokyo Station and a luxury shopping mall, making it super easy to get around and shop. The hotel entrance and lobby are a bit small, so you really have to look for it. If your room faces the central station, you might get some noise, even on higher floors. The staff are very welcoming, and there are even some who speak Chinese, providing professional and friendly service. Both the Italian and Japanese restaurants are excellent, though you'll need reservations. The turndown service also comes with unique little snacks, which is a nice touch. This is my second time staying here, and I still think it's well worth it.
