With a stay at HOSHINOYA Tokyo, you'll be centrally located in Tokyo, within a 5-minute drive of Tokyo Imperial Palace and Tokyo Dome. This luxury ryokan is 1.7 mi (2.8 km) from Ueno Park and 2.5 mi (4 km) from Tokyo Tower. Enjoy recreation amenities such as hot springs or take in the view from a garden. Additional features at this ryokan include complimentary wireless internet access and gift shops/newsstands. Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, or stay in and take advantage of the ryokan's room service (during limited hours). Full breakfasts are available daily from 7 AM to 11 AM for a fee. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Make yourself at home in one of the 84 guestrooms featuring refrigerators and minibars. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and flat-screen televisions are provided for your entertainment. Private bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers feature deep soaking bathtubs and rainfall showerheads. Conveniences include phones, as well as safes and coffee/tea makers.

"Hoshinoya Tokyo is situated in a tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, uniquely blending a traditional Japanese garden with a high-rise hotel concept. While its immediate surroundings are dominated by corporate offices like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, its location isn't as prime as other similarly priced luxury hotels such as The Peninsula Tokyo or Bulgari, with a noticeable lack of nearby dining options or convenience stores. The service, on the other hand, truly made guests feel at home. Each floor boasts a dedicated Japanese-style common area, but the atmosphere felt a bit too rigid or rule-bound. For example, when I asked for a second welcome dessert, it wasn't possible. However, I would strongly advise against staying here for a business trip. Firstly, the hotel's policy of not allowing unregistered guests to enter is quite inconvenient and arguably unsuitable for a business-oriented establishment. Secondly, the hotel itself offers a rich array of experiences – from its two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant to kimono fittings, tea ceremonies, kendo classes, hot springs, and sightseeing bicycles. These features highlight its strong appeal for leisure travel, making it less ideal for business."

Make yourself at home in one of the 651 individually decorated guestrooms, featuring refrigerators and minibars. Your bed comes with down comforters and premium bedding. Wired and wireless Internet access is complimentary, while 32-inch flat-screen televisions with digital programming provide entertainment. Private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature deep soaking bathtubs and complimentary toiletries.Regarding the restaurant, the French restaurant "Les Saisons" is only available for children aged 10 and above. Please be advised.

"From the moment I checked in, I didn't have to lift a finger; my luggage was taken directly to my room by a dedicated staff member. 1. Only some room types include a complimentary first round from the minibar; other rooms only get free bottled water. 2. The toiletries are all by Mikimoto. 3. The 17th-floor buffet restaurant requires a queue number to be seated. If you're on a tight schedule, I recommend getting there early to get a number. 4. The main facilities are in the main building. To get to the tower, you need to take an elevator to the M floor and then transfer via a hallway."

Amazing
LLeilaleilaIt can be a bit noisy being next to the station. The room itself is huge and very new! A downside is that the restaurant is often closed; out of three restaurants, I didn't get to try one. The view is nice though! The only real downsides are probably the construction site and the train station nearby. I'd likely come back because the rooms are genuinely much larger than other places at the same price point, and personally, I don't think the noise was that bad. Room service options are a bit limited.

TTyler123The stay was great. Although the space wasn't very large, the room service was excellent. There are many restaurants on-site, and since I was a guest, the front desk made it easy to book dinner. I recommend their Sky Dinner; the view and experience are fantastic, offering panoramic views of Tokyo's nightscape. While I rarely go to buffets, the food here was quite good, especially the Wagyu beef teppanyaki – it was amazing. The breakfast selection was also plentiful; the garden breakfast had fewer dishes, but the view was truly beautiful. This was quite rare; I only explored the Japanese garden after three days and was surprised to discover it was the garden where Kato Kiyomasa once lived.

GGuest UserThe room is clean and comfortable, and the staff are kind , helpful and careful. Check-in makes people feel very relaxed. It will be a return visit to the hotel. The location is convenient, and the room space is great! There will be essential oils attached to sleep and relax in bed. Housekeeping is amazingly perfect on those details. It is worthy of its 5-star. From the beginning of check-in (take luggage) to check-in, housekeeping, the attitude of every service staff are absolutely amazing. The counter service staff and service are very good.

DDrThomasThe hotel's location is top-notch, with direct access to the Hibiya Line right downstairs and the Imperial Palace East Garden next door. It's incredibly convenient for exploring Ginza. The room was also very spacious and luxurious, and the walk-in closet was a good size and very practical. The service was even more exceptional; from check-in to check-out, guests felt warmly welcomed. Absolutely fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

GGuest UserThis hotel is conveniently located right next to Tokyo Station and a luxury shopping mall, making it super easy to get around and shop. The hotel entrance and lobby are a bit small, so you really have to look for it. If your room faces the central station, you might get some noise, even on higher floors. The staff are very welcoming, and there are even some who speak Chinese, providing professional and friendly service. Both the Italian and Japanese restaurants are excellent, though you'll need reservations. The turndown service also comes with unique little snacks, which is a nice touch. This is my second time staying here, and I still think it's well worth it.

GGuest UserThe room is clean and sanitary. I stay here every time I go on a business trip. The location is convenient, the staff has a good service attitude, the scenery is also very good, especially the bedding and toiletries in the store are more comfortable, and the air conditioner is not dry, the temperature is suitable, in short, it is quite comfortable.

GGuest UserThe service can be said to be the ceiling of the industry, meticulous and thoughtful without leaving any trace. I stayed in the hotel for a long time. I often drank tea and drank in the room and looked at the scenery, but I never saw the cleaning staff. However, they cleaned up twice a day. Very detailed. There are several staff in the restaurant who can speak Chinese, and communication is very convenient. Special praise to Sun Xiaoqi for helping to recover the jewelry. The club staff are also very gentle. As for the view from the room, you can see Mount Fuji and Tokyo at night, it’s unbeatable! Although the decoration is old, it has its own characteristics. Like the library very much. However, there is often a strong smell of gasoline at the entrance on the second floor. There are many staff waiting there all the time. I feel sorry for them and it also reduces the sense of the hotel. I hope this issue will be improved during the renovation this year.
