TTrekker5421The ultimate airport hotel. Cannot fault the place- legitimately fantastic. Walkable location to haneda airport terminal 3 through a covered indoor bridge. Mount fuji views (weather permitting), equipped with the luxuries you'd exoect of a spa hotel, but at the airport! Free welcome drinks in room, free local cakes/sweets. Just stay here, you wont regret it. Also has a coin laundry at the adjoining villa fontaine grand (which is the less luxurious version). Stay at the Grand if you can afford to pay the difference.

AAnonymous UserThis is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Tokyo. I'm truly satisfied! Everything was so clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were fantastic—I slept so well. The bathroom was also spotless. Now, about the hotel breakfast: it offered great value for money and gave me an authentic Japanese breakfast experience. It was truly exquisite. In the evenings, they offer complimentary ramen, and the free drinks were a real bonus. Even the free drinks were delicious; the matcha latte was superb! They also had free ice cream, and the onsen (hot spring) was wonderful. If you're going to Tokyo, choose this hotel—you definitely won't regret it. It totally exceeded my expectations!

Ssulee17Dormy Inn Ueno-Okachimachi boasts an excellent location, being just the shortest walk from Ueno Station. On our way, we even spotted a Torikizoku sign, and we ended up dining there one evening. Of course, with so many restaurants right across from the hotel and in the surrounding area, my 'choice paralysis' definitely kicked in! The main reason we chose Dormy Inn was for its large public bath, complete with complimentary popsicles and Yakult after a relaxing soak. Breakfast was also fantastic; the fried shrimp in the morning was absolutely divine. The breakfast was so substantial that we stayed full throughout our two-day stay, meaning we even skipped their complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night ramen) in the evenings. The hotel only has one elevator, so there was a bit of a wait during peak hours. From our room, we had a view of the Tokyo Skytree. Despite being right next to the Shuto Expressway, there was absolutely no traffic noise, which speaks volumes about their excellent soundproofing.

AAnonymous UserThe room came with a mini-fridge and a welcome jelly! After a long day of walking, soaking in the onsen was pure bliss. The rooftop public bath offered a great selection of toiletries, and the hairdryer was excellent. Although it's about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, the path takes you right through the heart of Ikebukuro, so you can shop 'til you drop. It's also super close to Sunshine City and all the anime stores, so I highly recommend it for any anime fans looking to buy merch.

TTianyiFacilities: Standard for a Japanese hotel. Cleanliness: Spotless, even better than similar establishments in China. Ambiance: Cozy and compact, yet incredibly well-equipped. Service: The staff were exceptionally thoughtful and attentive, clearly dedicated to their work. Location: Excellent, right by Senso-ji Temple.

GGdnightMy stay at Dorms Inn Korakuen was an absolute highlight of my trip to Tokyo. The concept is brilliant: modern, clean, and compact pod-style dormitory rooms paired with a genuine, high-quality natural hot spring (onsen) on the top floor. After a long day of exploring the city, there was nothing better than soaking in the spacious, soothing baths. It was the perfect way to unwind. The facilities are impeccably clean, from the shared showers and bathrooms to the comfortable sleeping pods, which offered more than enough privacy and space. The common area was a great place to plan my day or meet other travelers. Its location is another huge plus. Being just a short walk from both Korakuen Station and Tokyo Dome City made it incredibly easy to get around. The neighborhood has a lively yet relaxed vibe with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. For anyone looking for an affordable, unique, and authentically Japanese experience in Tokyo, I couldn't recommend Dorms Inn Korakuen more highly. It offers incredible value for money.

HHuajuangcyI almost overlooked this hotel after reading so many reviews. The room is indeed quite small, especially for the price of over 1000 yen, but that's pretty normal for Ginza, Tokyo. However, it boasts a natural hot spring. While not huge, it's still comfortable for a soak. The highlight, though, is definitely the small bar in the evening. I saw a sign that says non-guests can use the hot spring and bar for 5000 yen, so it's a really good deal for those staying there. It's completely self-service, but the breakfast, a single pastry and a bowl of soup, is a bit disappointing for the price. On the first floor, you can choose your pillow and there are many toiletries available. The transportation is also very convenient; a single bus from the airport takes you to Ginza, and then it's just an 800-meter walk to the hotel. The front desk also offers facial masks, and the staff were lovely.

EEdviThe toilet flushing system gives a very bad smell for days. The room corners and doors actually have a lot of dust on it. Poor cleaner limited time n nan power Hope they can improve on clearing the dust - basin shelf areas, toilet door, near mirror. The 2 pillows are too flat and my neck was in pain for some days in the mornings. But all the rest of service, onsen and night snack made up for it. The breakfast is almost the same every morning - please change the chicken meatball dish, it's not nice. The eel rice was initially ok but after eating for few days, i can't eat for a week. Changed to eat clear porridge better. Wish they can be clear which omelette has mushrooms or not - love the ones with mushrooms. A lady who works night shift came to my room to help me with my rubbish as i didn't need them to come into my room when i was unwell so i put the no cleaning magnet but she went the extra mile beyond cleaning hours to help me throw my rubbish. For the toothbrush n paste set, for those staying for a week, we don't need so many toothbrush but the paste more. But had to take 2-3 sets which is not environmental friendly due to the toothbrushes that come together.

GGuest UserI pick this hotel for its location that is just next to the train station and easy to get to and from the airport and the valie. The view of Tabata station (rail & trains) and whole Tokyo in 360 is an added bonus too. The rooftop view is fantastic. Service was excellent, staffs are kind, attentive and very accommodating. Helpful and always ready to help you in any ways. Room is cleaned, well furnished and have got all you need for your stay. I even send them a message ahead asking about pyjamas and they said yes its available in the room so i don’t need to bring any. I will definitely comeback as it is worth and reasonable.

GGuest UserI really wanted this hotel to work for us. It’s been hyped on social media, and the photos make it look incredibly beautiful. And to be fair, it is visually appealing. But very quickly we realized it was not a good choice. The rooms are extremely small. You can barely get through the door with your luggage, and once inside there’s hardly any space to open even a small suitcase. The mirror is blocked by your coat because the hangers are positioned directly above it, which is a very odd design choice. The sink in the bedroom splashes water everywhere, so you constantly have to wipe it down or keep towels nearby. The room looks great in pictures, but that charm disappears the moment you actually try to live in it. DO NOT book it if you're planning to do any shopping. I feel like this place could somehow work with backpacks only. There are also no towel hangers at all. After using the onsen or taking a shower, you’re left wondering what to do with your wet towel. The bathroom has no space or rack for it either. I’ve never been this frustrated by a room’s design before, it consistently highlighted poor decisions that could have easily been avoided. Lighting was another major issue. The only usable mirror for doing makeup is badly lit, with only an overhead light that casts unflattering shadows, almost like the “Bohemian Rhapsody” music video. If you enjoy getting ready in the evening, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The small slit-style window is a cool idea at first, but it becomes annoying and doesn’t provide enough natural light. The lobby, although pretty, wasn’t comfortable to sit in, so it stayed empty. Interestingly, cheaper hotels provided a portable mirror- something this place completely overlooked. The one true highlight is the rooftop onsen. It was very clean and lovely, and the lockers and hair-drying area were comfortable and well thought out. But bear in mind you will spend max 30mins there, and the rest of the time you will just be annoyed by the hotel. Overall, the hotel’s aesthetic is beautiful, but the practical design issues made our stay frustrating and far from enjoyable.
