Stay here for 2 times. Reasonable price compare to other hotel around Tokyo. Could have been nicer if provide public washing machine. Only the location is a bit far from subway line except we have to transit via monorail first everytime we want to go to downtown area.

The hotel is near Chiyoda City which is a nice park. Shimbashi station is a 5min walk away. Rooms are clean but a bit small (normal for Tokyo). Service is good. Breakfast is good.
They don't have a concierge despite trip.com saying they do. Not sure if that is a mistake on their part or on trip.com.
The place has a gym which is open 24/7. I didn't use it but it was good to have the option.
There is also a smoking room and a bar.
Overall, a 5/5 stay for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is convenient for traveling by metro, immediately after exiting to the right, there is an entrance to the subway. The staff is polite, just like everywhere else in Japan. Disadvantages: the choice of dishes for breakfast is small, breakfast cannot be excluded from the price. The dining room is very small and it is difficult to find a place for breakfast in the morning. I asked the staff to write down what the dishes are made of. But they refused to write what includes into dishes ( f.e. salad ingredients). They said that they need to coordinate the permission to describe the composition of the dishes with the management. But It wasn't wasn't agreed in all my 5 days stays. I don't eat meat, and there was meat in the vegetable salad. It is not visible from above, it was in the middle of the ”vegetable” salad. About safety, it's a separate complaint. On the night of 29-30/11/2024, at about 2:10 a.m., the fire alarm went off. The voice notification was in Japanese only, for about 40(!) minutes. With the help of a Google translator, I realized that needed to run outside. The staff should was find reason of problem. Actually it takes for a maximum of 15 minutes to find reason of 'fire” ( 1. to see on display correct place 2.to see by own eyeson both floors). After the signal in Japanese ended in 40 minutes, people began to come back. When people was going to fall asleep again, after 3-4 minutes the alert was swithed troug ht speakers again with the same text but in English. It was turned off in about 5 or 10 minutes. Afterwards in 5 minutes, they started setting up the notification (Japanese text was coming through the speakers). But that's not all. In the morning, at 6:30, a general ”good morning” alert went out thought speakers to the entire hotel. It was impossible to get enough sleep that night. The staff put a paper with apologies under everyone's door in the morning time. There was zero information about how many times and how long were swithed on speakers and other details and explanations of triggers. During this sleepless night, the visitors received only a formal letter. Obviously, there was no fire and they didn't write anything about the duration, numbers and reasons of all alarms. After this night - only a formal letter? It was possible to honestly admit that there was no fire and there are problems with the functioning of the fire safety warning system (EVACS).Conclusion: technically, the fire alarm system is not configured. The staff is not trained. In general, there are some risks.

GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
GGuest UserThe hotel is ideally located close to Shinjuku Train Station, but far away enough not to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of the commuter traffic. Another station, Yoyogi station, is a better station to catch the local trains/subways as it is smaller and less crowded. The hotel is located close to shopping and eating that you don't need to walk very far to satisfy any craving. From 7-11 to high end dining, everything is close by. There are restaurants and even a Shake Shack (got our desserts from here several times) inside the building and department stores just across the bridge that crosses the railway tracks. The hotel actually starts on the 20th floor, so you are high enough that the noise from the railway doesn't bother you. Since you are so close to the train station, you don't have to lug your baggage too far from the train station (if that's how you came into town). Service from the staff was very good and was as expected from a higher end hotel. The room was on the large side for Japanese hotel rooms. We had a king size bed and space to walk around even with 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons taking up floor space. The elevators were quick and silent with a view overlooking the promenade. Filtered water is provided next to the elevators, which came in very handy since we filled our refillable battles starting out each day of sightseeing. A refrigerator was provided as was a safe. Towels were changed on demand and sheets were changed every 3 days or on demand. The bathroom was small but not the smallest we experienced, the shower/tub was great with a handheld sprayer available. The toilet was the typical bidet/heated seat setup that all hotels seem to provide. Everything was clean and neat with the typical (for Japanese luxury hotels) compliment of items - toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor, shower cap, skin lotion, soap, shampoo, etc. Unfortunately, we were on the go most of the time and didn't experience any of the hotel restaurants, but they looked high end and we probably wouldn't have eaten at them since we didn't really pack any nice clothes that would have fit into the clientele. Overall, a comfy place to stay in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI have mixed feelings about this stay because of the inconsistent service level experienced throughout the stay. For instance prior to checking in I emailed to request the lowest floor possible and 2 extra pillows due to back problems, and advised that my traveling companion would not be arriving until the last night. I was told that my friend would have to register at the Front Desk upon arrival.
I arrived about an hour early for check in, and was told by a male employee that although my room was ready I couldn’t check in using the kiosk until 3pm🤔 He also asked if I really needed 2 extra pillows - yes I said, but I’ll take 1 if that’s all they had. So I settled down in the lounge and started charging my phone.
At 245pm a female employee came up to me saying my room was ready so go ahead and check in on the kiosk. I was placed on the highest floor, got 1 extra pillow that was as hard as a rock. The bed was also very hard so I had very little sleep and my back is now hurting so bad 😭.
2 days later my friend arrived so I took her to the front desk to get her registered but was told that it wasn’t necessary 🤷🏻♀️ We went upstairs so she could shower and were about to head out for the evening when she noticed that she would need another towel set for when we returned later that night because she would need to wash her hair and she had mistakenly placed her towel on the floor after using it. So I called and requested another set and was asked, “Don’t you already have 2 sets?” I said yes, but one was used and could we get a clean set, and she said yes but they’ll collect the used set, so I said that’s fine. 5 minutes later I met the employee at the door with the used set in my hands to exchange for the new set and she says no, just keep it in the room 🙄
Finally upon checkout day, we got a call from a male employee at 1113am saying that checkout was at 11am and I replied that I could’ve sworn it was at 12 but that we were ready to leave so we’d be right down. He responds in a scolding tone that he will charge me ¥2000 for late checkout. We get to the checkout counter and my friend notices on a flyer that it says “Checkout at 12noon” on it for GranVista members, which I am (I signed up for it when I checked in. I show my membership to the female employee and she says oh ok, then calls another employee over to discuss what to do, then she asks me to open my app again so she can write down my membership #, then she says ok now you can go back to the room and wait til 12noon to checkout. I said no thanks we’re already vacated and will be leaving. It was just a very strange experience and left me feeling less than satisfied despite all the fun amenities and well-equipped rooms.

BBonikwokTried to stay in Keio plaza hotel again after returned from Mt Fuji.
This time arranged us to south tower , though it said to be upgraded, the hotel room is not as new as Main tower, however, due to its not at executive floor, the toilet was not same as main tower which renovated. Room size is still very spacey and big enough for our big bags to open. It’s tidy and clean.
Breakfast offering at 2nd floor which is lots of choices. Food all yummy and fresh! Hotel prices gone up because of cherry blossom, however, it’s still the best location and walking to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden!

Ooki explorerThis is a good location especially if you’re going to Disneyland. There are 3 train stations around the hotel within 5min walk. Its very convenient and spacious. Would stay there again. It is also close to Haneda airport. I don’t like to stay in the metropolitan area so this is a perfect location for us. They have lockers for early arrivals and also has a McDonalds attach to the hotel with convenient store. We also got a good view!!!
