Batam Arrival Card Guide: Requirements and Online Registration
Entering Batam is now easier with the All Indonesia Arrival Card. Instead of completing several separate declarations, Filipino travelers can submit their immigration, customs, health, and quarantine information through one free online form. This guide covers the registration process, entry requirements, QR code, and arrival procedures.
What Is the Batam Arrival Card?
The form commonly called the Batam Arrival Card is officially named the All Indonesia Arrival Card or simply All Indonesia. “AIAC” is not the official name used by the Indonesian government.
The system became mandatory at Batam’s international seaports on September 1, 2025. Since October 1, 2025, it has been required for passengers arriving from abroad at all Indonesian airports and seaports.
All Indonesia combines four declarations in one system:
- Immigration information
- Customs declaration
- Health declaration
- Animal, fish, and plant quarantine declaration
Travelers who complete All Indonesia normally do not need to submit a separate Indonesian electronic customs declaration. The form is free and is not a visa.

Do Filipino Travelers Need the Batam Arrival Card?
Yes. Filipino travelers arriving in Batam from another country must complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card.
The requirement applies to:
- Foreign visitors, including Philippine passport holders
- Indonesian citizens returning from abroad
- Adults and children
- Travelers arriving by ferry or international flight
Each traveler must be included in an individual or group declaration, including accompanying children.
Do Filipinos Need a Visa for Batam?
Filipino citizens using an ordinary Philippine passport can generally enter Indonesia visa-free for eligible tourism visits of up to 30 days. Therefore, most Filipinos visiting Batam for a short holiday do not need to buy a Visa on Arrival.
The visa-free stay:
- Is valid for up to 30 days
- Is free
- Cannot be extended
- Cannot be converted into another type of stay permit
Travelers must present a passport valid for at least six months and a confirmed return or onward ticket. The Philippines remains on Indonesia’s official list of visa-free nationalities.
If you plan to stay longer than 30 days or travel for purposes not covered by visa-free entry, apply for the appropriate Indonesian visa before traveling.
When to Complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card
You can submit the form starting three days before your scheduled arrival in Indonesia and until your arrival day.
However, it is better to complete it one or two days before traveling. This gives you time to check your passport, ferry, and accommodation information before submission.
For example, if you will arrive in Batam on Friday, you can start completing the form from Tuesday.

How to Fill Out the Batam Arrival Card Online
1. Open the Official All Indonesia Website
Visit the official All Indonesia portal or download the official All Indonesia mobile app.
The application is completely free. Avoid websites that charge a service or processing fee.
2. Select Foreign Visitor
Choose the option for “Foreign Visitor” and change the language to English if needed.
Register or sign in using your email address. Foreign visitors may need to enter an OTP sent to the registered email address.
Step 3: Enter Your Personal, Passport, and Visa Details
Enter your information exactly as shown in your passport:
- Full name
- Passport number
- Nationality
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Passport expiry date
- Arrival and departure dates
You will also be asked, “Do you already have a Visa or Stay Permit?”
- Select Yes if you already have an e-VOA, Indonesian visa, KITAS, KITAP, or another valid stay permit. Enter the visa or permit number.
- Select No if you are a Filipino tourist using Indonesia’s 30-day visa-free entry.
Check all passport and visa details carefully before continuing.
Step 4: Add Your Travel and Accommodation Details
Provide the requested transportation and accommodation information:
- Mode of transport
- Flight number
- Purpose of visit
- Port of arrival
- Hotel or accommodation address
If Bali is your first entry point in Indonesia, select I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).
For a connecting journey, enter the flight number of the final flight that lands in Indonesia. For example, if you fly from Manila to Singapore and then Singapore to Bali, enter the Singapore-to-Bali flight number.
Enter the name and full address of your first accommodation in Bali. If you are staying with family or friends, use the complete address provided by your host.
Step 5: Complete the Health, Quarantine, and Customs Declarations
Answer every declaration truthfully based on your health, baggage, and the items you are bringing into Indonesia.
The declaration section may ask about:
- Current symptoms or recent health conditions
- Recent travel history
- Animals, fish, plants, seeds, fruit, meat, or related products
- Restricted or prohibited items
- Commercial goods
- Goods exceeding the duty-free allowance
- Excess alcohol or tobacco
- Large amounts of cash
- Electronic devices that require customs or IMEI registration
Some products may require inspection, permits, or supporting certificates. If you are unsure about an item, declare it and ask an officer upon arrival.
For passengers arriving by air or sea, the customs declaration is already included in All Indonesia. You do not need to complete the old separate electronic customs declaration.
Step 6: Submit the Form and Save Your QR Code
Review your passport, visa, flight, accommodation, and declaration details before submitting the form.
Once submitted, the system will generate a QR code. Take a screenshot, download the confirmation, and save a copy offline. If you submitted a group application, confirm that every traveler is listed correctly and arrives together.

I have been to this place many times since 2020, if I’m not mistaken. It's an amazing location, akin to visiting old friends in an unfamiliar setting, with excellent service from the hospitality staff. They understand your needs and largely provide what you desire. I felt as though I was being pampered by a butler in a premium hotel.
Marriott hotels offer a 24-hour gym, sauna/steam room, and room service. The rooms are beautifully designed, featuring comfortable beds and luxury pillows that are specially designed for relaxation.
The leisure activities within the hotel area are excellent, and the Harbour Bay ferry exit is just a 10-minute walk to the right, where you can discover some very affordable local food restaurants, such as Bay City Seafood. We particularly enjoyed the steamed black grouper and steamed silver pomfret. Just let the waitress know if you prefer less sauce to reduce the saltiness.
For personal care, there is a salon near the Swiss-Bel Hotel. I paid less than S$20, including tips, for an hour of foot reflexology or a body massage.
For breakfast, there is a variety of cooked foods, ice cream, yogurt, desserts, breads, cakes, salads, and more. We enjoyed the carrot and orange juice, and at the hotel, you can order any juice or drink you prefer. Next time I visit, I plan to order smoothies for my breakfast.

I arrived from Singapore by ferry to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal. During peak hours/traffic, it took about 15-20 minutes. I took a Grab, but for some reason, I couldn't pay via the app when I got off, so I had to pay cash! The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall with direct access. This time, I chose it for a family trip mainly due to familiarity and good value for money. For around 400-500 RMB, the hotel is quite understated. The Ctrip page stated a 1.5-meter bed, but it was actually 1.8 meters. For two 1.2-meter beds, the website listed them as 1 meter. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Nirup Island. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They helped with our luggage, arranged our speedboat transfers seamlessly, and even provided buggy rides around the island — including from our yoga classes to the padel courts.
The service was exceptional throughout our stay. Housekeeping was impeccable, with daily turndown service and beautifully maintained rooms that were always spotless and comfortable.
Breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and one of the highlights was the incredible wellness programme. Every morning we could start the day with yoga, Pilates, and other wellness activities, making this feel like a true wellness retreat rather than just a resort stay.
The padel court is simply breathtaking, surrounded by endless sea views, and the beach is equally beautiful. We visited during the low season, so the island felt peaceful, exclusive, and uncrowded — exactly what we were looking for.
Watching the sunset here was magical, and every corner of the island felt relaxing and rejuvenating. We loved our experience so much that we’ll definitely be bringing our family and friends on our next visit.

The location will be very difficult to find food.
The rooms are very spacious like a football field.
But not soundproof.
Even if you book a non-smoking room, the smell will still creep in from outside.
Hot water and water availability as well as shower and toilet facilities are very complete and flow well and adjustment is easy. There is liquid soap and a toothbrush and a small amount of typical hotel toothpaste but no shampoo.
There are towels. Trash and tissue bins in the room are complete, both in the bathroom and at the table. The receptionists changed, some were friendly and cooperative, some were rude and arbitrary.
Overall the hotel is not clean even though it is not in the very dirty category. No cockroaches compared to other hotels in the area at the same price.
AC functions normally.
There is a room light that doesn't work but it doesn't disturb the whole room.
There are charging plugs in many spots, making activities very easy.
Local TV channels and the rest is news but not a smart TV

- We were upgraded to two sea-view rooms (only paid for one upgrade and one free) because our family and children needed two conjoined rooms.

- Breakfast was kinda disappointing. On our first morning, there wasn’t even a buffet spread. Instead we were given menus without many options to order from. Expected a bit more, but can’t complain too much for the price.
- Water from the bathroom often leaked out into the bathroom, leaving the entire floor often wet.
- Lots of mice running around loudly in the attic.

The hotel is very close to Batam Central Marina, with a great location. It's located on the 32nd floor. Although it faces away from the marina and the sea, it offers panoramic views of Batam Central.
Check-in requires prior communication with the front desk or via WhatsApp using the phone number provided in your booking. A room key and room card will be provided. Early check-in needs to be arranged in advance.
The biggest problem is the water heater. Even after heating for a long time, exceeding an hour, hot water only comes out for about a minute. Customer service kindly suggested heating it longer, but it didn't help; it just wasn't working properly.
The overall cleanliness is acceptable, but the sofas are quite dirty. The hotel provides 5 bottles of mineral water, snacks, coffee, and tea. Toothbrushes, towels, tableware, a refrigerator, and kitchenware are also provided. The hotel's electrical outlets accept two-prong plugs.
It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (two in bunk beds and two in a double bed). If there are 5 people, one person will have to sleep on the dirty sofa.
This hotel is considered one of the more upscale apartment hotels in Batam, Indonesia. Another problem is that at 3 a.m., someone downstairs was playing a very loud DJ set, and the whole ground was shaking. It was really annoying. I don't know if it's part of the local culture or if someone was having an accident.Gym

There is a lot of dust and it was dirty underneath the double bed, which was slightly evaluated and could have been cleaned easily. My wife has to sweep the floor when we first check in. Pillows could be more firm. Sink chocked up when frequently used , but it was a small matter as we are out of the house a lot . Though we booked e sea view bungalow wanting e unblock sea view , we were terrorized by its space & clustured phobic. The location of the hotel was great, just a short 5 mins walk from the Habourbay Terminal. However, was rather disappointed by the service and facilities. (1) Room had a weird stale, musty smell when we first checked in to our room, but the smell eventually went away after 2-3h with aircon circulation. It was bearable but we could really use an air freshener. (2) We were not informed that the gym/pool had opening or closing times. There were also no signs indicating as such. When we tried to visit the gym at around 10pm, everything was already closed. (3) On the amenities, we had to make repeated checks receptionist that we can get a shaving razor and instant coffee. At first, the housekeeping didn't understand what we wanted. The first receptionist at the front desk simply just tried to waive us away by saying they are not available. It was only after we approached a second receptionist did they finally understood and brought it out for us. The shower gel also ran out after the first night and housekeeping did not refill it despite cleaning the room in the day. (4) The hotel spa, despite saying they were open for 24h and that a reservation was required, repeatedly told us to go to their counter at the 4th floor to check on availability. We went there and checked at least 6 times during our 3D2N stay and each time, we were told that there was no immediate availability but to come back at a later time instead. They also turned us away when we tried to make an advance booking. They could have saved time for everyone by just saying there was no availability and reservations were unavailable instead of asking us to come back every now and then. Overall, the service level was very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. There are better and cheaper hotel options around the Harbourbay area.FromPHP 3,147
