The room was spacious with a lovely river view and good hygiene. Breakfast was just okay. There's a bus stop right outside and a subway station about 300 meters away, making transportation very convenient. They also offer Chinese-speaking service. However, the omelet cook in the restaurant was unfriendly towards Chinese guests, showing differential treatment. Overall, my experience was still pretty good. I also got a late checkout until 3 PM.

Orchard Road Singapore|3.66km from city center
The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore's busiest district, surrounded by shops and eateries. It's incredibly convenient for shopping and dining, and not far from various attractions by subway, which is a major plus. The room's amenities and service are standard, but definitely worth the price in Singapore!

An excellent stay that exceeded expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which immediately elevated the experience with a more spacious, well-appointed layout and refined interior details. The hotel was also exceptionally baby-friendly—a clean, sturdy, and thoughtfully prepared baby crib was provided, making the stay comfortable and stress-free for families. The highlight was the majestic Garden by the Bay view, visible from the room and balcony, offering a serene, lush panorama that felt both calming and iconic, especially with natural daylight filling the space. Overall, a seamless blend of comfort, thoughtful hospitality, and an outstanding view—highly recommended.

The location is super convenient! Directly across the street, the mall's basement has the 'City Hall' MRT station, which connects to two lines. The hotel room was quite spacious, and the view was really open. The room we were assigned overlooked Chijmes, and the scenery in the early morning and at dusk was absolutely beautiful. The hotel's swimming pool and gym facilities were also excellent.

1. Early check-in and late check-out are available, charged hourly, though I don't recall the exact rates. The service was polite, but they don't offer luggage delivery to your room. 2. The location is indeed excellent. It's walking distance to the police station attraction, and taxis to various places cost around S$11-15, making it great for quick sightseers. 3. Breakfast was quite mediocre, like airplane food brought to the ground, and it was very crowded. You might as well skip it and try local street food; that experience is much better. The hotel pool is glass, which is beautiful, and I highly recommend trying it out – it's a bit like the one at the St. Regis. [Soundproofing] It's pretty poor; light sleepers will hear noise from outside the door. [Musty Smell] The rooms had a significant musty odor. If this bothers you, don't book here. I'd consider it an unpleasant smell. The upside is that for Singapore, it's not expensive, just a little over a thousand (SGD/CNY), so what more can you ask for?

Chinatown Singapore|0.94km from city center
The location is pretty good, with convenient subway access right next to Chinatown. However, most shops in Chinatown were closed during the Chinese New Year. On the first day, it rained, so we took a taxi instead of the subway, and it was incredibly expensive. A 3.2km ride cost 34 Singapore dollars (likely due to holiday surge pricing). So, friends, remember to take the subway when you're in Singapore, don't hail a taxi. The facilities are just okay, but the breakfast was filling.

Have stayed here 3 times on each visit to SG over the past year. The location is great. Only some rooms have bidet, and where one of our rooms has no bidet, there is a mini fridge. Hope that very room will get a bidet and mini fridge eventually. The TV is useless as the Internet is too slow to cast anything on it. Maybe provide a HDMI cable so we could connect our devices to it. Wish there are stretch bands and roller foam provided in the gym. I’ve seen some guests confused over the way to use the washer and dryer, so it might be good to print a poster with instructions to use them.

Hotel Boss has a fantastic location. There's a Founder Bak Kut Teh restaurant right downstairs! The closest MRT station is Lavender, and it's only about three to four stops to places like Merlion Park and Marina Bay. There are also many bus stops nearby, providing direct access to all major attractions in Singapore. Plus, there's a Sheng Siong supermarket about 500-600 meters away, which is great for buying souvenirs at a good price! The rooms are a bit small, but generally very clean and tidy. The breakfast offers a good variety, and there's also a large swimming pool! If you're looking for good value for money, this place is definitely a solid choice.

Stayed 3D2N with my daughter to meet my youngest daughter from SMU. The hotel nearby SMU Campus . The hotel room is very big room compare i survey the other hotel, , newly renovated and clean. The staff are very friendly, especially the front counter staff. The hotel provides a water filter machine on every floor (reminder: bring your own tumbler 👍). The location is very convenient for MRT — just a few steps away from Bras Basah MRT 🚇, and Bus Stop are available directly to Suntec City Mall and Marina Bay. Within a 5-minute walk, you can reach Bugis Street, Bugis Junction, and Bugis+ for shopping and food. In front of the the Bugis Malll, there’s a Chinese hawker stall — the chicken rice is nice, cheap, and delicious 😋. Overall, it’s a great place to stay. Worth the money, and I will definitely come back for my next trip!

The biggest plus of this hotel is its location and surrounding amenities. It's right next to a subway and bus station, with a food court and fast food restaurants nearby, making it super convenient to get to attractions. While the lack of hot water in the morning was a minor drawback, the overall experience was still great.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the Singapore River. My kids absolutely loved the split-level design of the room. While the room isn't huge, the three-part bathroom setup was incredibly practical, allowing everyone to use it at different times. The front desk service was quite good, definitely not as bad as some previous reviews suggested.

## Environment: The location is good, very close to the subway, making transportation convenient. There's a convenience store downstairs, so it's easy to grab a bite if you get hungry at night. We East Asians might find the smell in some areas a bit uncomfortable (mainly in the elevator; the lobby and rooms are fine. You know the drill). ## Hygiene: The room was quite clean. ## Service: Check-in involved a bit of a wait. For Singapore, it seems there are fewer staff who speak Chinese. Also, my breakfast records for two days weren't logged, so I had to explain and confirm with the staff every morning. ## Breakfast: Perhaps to cater to the needs of Indian guests, the breakfast here was truly difficult to describe... ## Facilities: The hotel facilities are quite old, but! The important thing is that the rooms are really spacious. If you're not a fan of Singapore's super small-sized rooms, I highly recommend this place. Additionally, the hotel decor might remind you of the golden nineties; it's quite retro and stylish in its own way.

I arrived at 12:00 PM and the hotel had just finished cleaning a room, so they checked me in right away. The hotel is very compact, and the room is also quite small, but it has everything you need. The facilities are decent. The hotel is kept very clean and feels cozy. The connecting road isn't noisy, and behind the hotel there's a Sultan's mosque and a bunch of street food stalls. Even though my room faced the street, it was still very quiet.

The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall and is easily accessible by bus and MRT. Although the room for two was slightly compact, it was well equipped with all the basic amenities, including a safe box, hairdryer, hangers, and a fridge. The bed and pillows were comfortable; however, the bed height made it difficult for kids and elderly guest to get on and off the bed.

For this price, don't expect too much from the cleanliness. Lower your expectations, and you might find it just about okay. The pros: It's close to the Rainbow Police Station, Fort Canning Park, and the Little India temple. Public transport and MRT stations are a guaranteed 10-minute walk away, and there's a 7-Eleven within 5 minutes. Even though it was hot and we were tired in the afternoon, the kids still had energy, so we let them go to the pool. It's small, which is good, and not too deep, so I just relaxed on a lounge chair while they had a blast all afternoon. Clarke Quay is right next door. Cleanliness is just average, and the rooms are small. Next time, if I increase my budget slightly, I'd stay at the Ascott Roberson House nearby.

The hotel's condition is just average, probably on par with a 3-star hotel in China. It's a 5-minute walk from the SkyHelix. The first time I arrived at Beach Station, I followed navigation to take bus A, but after getting off, I had to walk quite a distance to reach the hotel. That entrance led to the front desk on the 8th floor. Later, I found out it's only about a 10-minute walk from the 1st floor to Beach Station, so overall, it's not bad.

The room size was quite spacious for Singapore, and it was very clean and comfortable. The service was attentive and thoughtful, with great attention to detail. Overall, I felt very secure and at ease. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

We were a family of three and booked for two nights. The room was really small, but the bed was big and very soft. If you don't like very soft beds that 'hug' you, then this isn't for you. Check-in was self-service, which was quick and easy, very convenient. There's a pool on the 10th floor; it was lovely to swim and enjoy the night view after a tiring day of sightseeing. There's also an underground food court near the hotel with reasonable prices and food that caters more to Chinese tastes. The nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. Overall, it's very convenient.
