Location is very convenient. In between 2 MRT stations, Havelock station exit 4 and Great World Station. We’ve upgraded room at top floor. Nice scenery. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing. There’s one thing that made us disappointed is….the hotel staff are not attentive enough towards guests. When I book this hotel, I’ve stated in the remarks that this staycation is to celebrate my husband’s birthday. However, the hotel staff didn’t prepare anything or give any complimentary cake to surprise us.

I would like to commend Sebastian from Royal Plaza on Scotts for his excellent customer service. He was attentive, polite, and very efficient throughout the interaction. His explanations were clear, and he handled requests with genuine care and professionalism, which made the experience smooth and pleasant. It’s clear that Sebastian takes pride in his work and truly represents the hotel well. Thank you for the great service.

An excellent stay that exceeded expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which immediately elevated the experience with a more spacious, well-appointed layout and refined interior details. The hotel was also exceptionally baby-friendly—a clean, sturdy, and thoughtfully prepared baby crib was provided, making the stay comfortable and stress-free for families. The highlight was the majestic Garden by the Bay view, visible from the room and balcony, offering a serene, lush panorama that felt both calming and iconic, especially with natural daylight filling the space. Overall, a seamless blend of comfort, thoughtful hospitality, and an outstanding view—highly recommended.

As a hotel that's been open for over ten years, it still maintains its consistently warm service. However, the in-room facilities are showing their age, and there's a noticeable gap compared to newly opened hotels. This hotel's strong suit is its excellent value for money; for the same price, you won't find a hotel with better convenience for getting around. Therefore, it's still highly recommended.

The front desk guy had a translator device and upgraded me to a room with an amazing view! Check-in took a bit long, but that's typical for international hotels. The location is absolutely fantastic! There's a mall downstairs with plenty of food, drinks, and shopping. Both the front desk staff and the gentleman at baggage storage were super friendly; they even gave my son some candy, which made him pout in a really funny way!

Chinatown Singapore|0.94km from city center
The location is pretty good, with convenient subway access right next to Chinatown. However, most shops in Chinatown were closed during the Chinese New Year. On the first day, it rained, so we took a taxi instead of the subway, and it was incredibly expensive. A 3.2km ride cost 34 Singapore dollars (likely due to holiday surge pricing). So, friends, remember to take the subway when you're in Singapore, don't hail a taxi. The facilities are just okay, but the breakfast was filling.

The room was very clean, and the front desk quickly resolved an issue with the sink. Although there wasn't a Chinese-speaking staff member when I checked in, the process was still smooth. The hotel's location is excellent, right near a subway station, and several attractions are within walking distance, which was very convenient.

Stayed 3D2N with my daughter to meet my youngest daughter from SMU. The hotel nearby SMU Campus . The hotel room is very big room compare i survey the other hotel, , newly renovated and clean. The staff are very friendly, especially the front counter staff. The hotel provides a water filter machine on every floor (reminder: bring your own tumbler 👍). The location is very convenient for MRT — just a few steps away from Bras Basah MRT 🚇, and Bus Stop are available directly to Suntec City Mall and Marina Bay. Within a 5-minute walk, you can reach Bugis Street, Bugis Junction, and Bugis+ for shopping and food. In front of the the Bugis Malll, there’s a Chinese hawker stall — the chicken rice is nice, cheap, and delicious 😋. Overall, it’s a great place to stay. Worth the money, and I will definitely come back for my next trip!

Facilities: Very clean and tidy, and the bathroom also had good soundproofing. The space was generous. Hygiene: Very clean, tidy, elegant, and beautiful. ## Environment: The location is good, very close to the subway, making transportation convenient. There's a convenience store downstairs, so it's easy to grab a bite if you get hungry at night. We East Asians might find the smell in some areas a bit uncomfortable (mainly in the elevator; the lobby and rooms are fine. You know the drill). ## Hygiene: The room was quite clean. ## Service: Check-in involved a bit of a wait. For Singapore, it seems there are fewer staff who speak Chinese. Also, my breakfast records for two days weren't logged, so I had to explain and confirm with the staff every morning. ## Breakfast: Perhaps to cater to the needs of Indian guests, the breakfast here was truly difficult to describe... ## Facilities: The hotel facilities are quite old, but! The important thing is that the rooms are really spacious. If you're not a fan of Singapore's super small-sized rooms, I highly recommend this place. Additionally, the hotel decor might remind you of the golden nineties; it's quite retro and stylish in its own way.

Great location! Dhoby Ghaut is a fantastic hub with three MRT lines, and buses are convenient too. But Singapore is small enough that you can actually walk to many places. The breakfast is quite basic, but the room's soundproofing is decent, and there are free snacks. If I visit Singapore again, I'd probably stay here.

The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall and is easily accessible by bus and MRT. Although the room for two was slightly compact, it was well equipped with all the basic amenities, including a safe box, hairdryer, hangers, and a fridge. The bed and pillows were comfortable; however, the bed height made it difficult for kids and elderly guest to get on and off the bed.

The location is absolutely fantastic! You can walk to Fort Canning Park, and Clarke Quay is right next door, which gets really lively at night with a whole street of bars and late-night food. It's also not far from the MRT. On our first day, we took a cable car to Sentosa Island and used GRAB for the round trip, but after that, we mostly used the MRT for getting around. For Singapore, this price is really affordable!

Facilities: There's a beautiful pool with a slide स्लाइड waterslide. The room must have been recently renovated as it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews suggested. I was quite satisfied with it (*¯︶¯*). Environment: The beach is right behind the hotel, which is great. Lots of greenery. It's only a few hundred meters from Beach Station. Service: The front desk can store luggage. The guy at the front desk looked uncannily like a Custard Pie! 😁 His attitude was great too.

This is an older hotel, but its location is definitely a huge plus. It's super convenient for getting around by bus, and the subway is also very close by. Even catching a taxi from the hotel is a breeze. I found the room to be extremely clean, and housekeeping came to tidy up and refresh everything on the second day. I'm really happy with my stay. The only minor quibble, and this is for very picky guests, might be that the bathtub drains a bit slowly – your feet can get quite submerged if you're not careful!
