When you book flights, hotels, or trains through the Trip.com app, you earn coins that can be used like cash for your next trip. What are Trip Coins?

Trip Coins are the rewards you earn whenever you book or use Trip.com. It’s our way of saying thank you for choosing us for your travels. You can collect Trip Coins every time you book hotels, flights, or activities, and even when you write reviews or post on Trip Moments.

You can use Trip Coins like cash to get discounts on future bookings such as hotels, flights, car rentals, and attractions. For every 100 Trip Coins, you get about US$1 (around ₱58) in value.

How to Earn Trip Coins

You can earn Trip Coins in several ways when you use Trip.com.

1. Booking your trips

Every time you book through the Trip.com app or website, you automatically earn Trip Coins.

You can earn:

• Flights: 20 Trip Coins for every US$100 (around ₱5,800) spent
• Hotels: 50 Trip Coins for every US$100 spent
• Gift Cards: 20 Trip Coins for every US$100 spent

Your Trip Coins will appear in your account after your trip is completed.

2. Writing hotel reviews

You can earn Trip Coins by sharing your hotel experience and photos. Writing helpful reviews can guide other travelers and earn you rewards too.

You can earn up to 1,200 Trip Coins per month through hotel reviews.

Trip Coins from reviews are valid for 6 months.

Write attraction reviews

Share your experiences from the attractions and activities you’ve visited. Talk about what you enjoyed, what stood out, and give simple tips that can help other travelers. Adding photos makes your review more helpful and fun to read.

If your review has at least 100 characters and 3 photos, you can earn 30 Trip Coins for each attraction. You can earn up to 600 Trip Coins per month from attraction reviews.

3. Join Trip Moments

Trip Moments is Trip.com’s travel community where you can share your travel photos, stories, and tips. You can earn Trip Coins by:

How to Pay with Trip Coins

You can use your Trip Coins to pay for hotels, flights, and other bookings directly on the Trip.com app or website.

1. Apply Trip Coins at checkout

When you reach the checkout page, look for the option to use Trip Coins. Select it to reduce the total amount of your booking. The maximum Trip Coins you can use may vary depending on current promotions.

2. Use for partial payments

If your Trip Coins are not enough to pay the full amount, you can still use them for part of the payment. The remaining balance can be paid using your preferred payment method, such as a card or e-wallet.

3. Confirm and complete your booking

Check your order summary to make sure the Trip Coins discount has been applied. Once confirmed, complete your booking and enjoy your savings.
