Most importantly, the aircon is strong enough in this hot summer. We can even adjust to below 10 degree celcius.
Beddings are so comfortable as well.
Only downside is the location, we have to walk like 10-13 mins with luggages to the hotel.
Nevertheless, price and quality are quite on par.

I had a great stay at Youli Hotel during my recent trip to Shanghai. The location is excellent, just steps away from the metro station that conveniently connects Line 1 and Line 8—making it super easy to get around the city.
Although the hotel is small in size, it’s well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, offering great comfort and convenience. I was particularly pleased that the room was clean and completely free from any cigarette smell, which is often hard to find in some places.
There’s also a convenience store right next door, which came in handy for snacks and essentials. Major attractions like Nanjing Road and The Bund are within walking distance, making the location even more ideal.
I would definitely choose to stay at Youli Hotel again if I have the chance to return to Shanghai. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers!

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient. It’s situated right on Nanjing Pedestrian Road, making it easy to explore the heart of the city. There are plenty of restaurants and food nearby. The famous Bund is also within walking distance.
The room, while not as spacious as we had expected, was still adequate for two people. It was clean and well-maintained, providing a decent level of comfort for a short stay.
However, we did encounter a few issues during our time at the hotel. Firstly, the design of the shower area caused water to flow out into the toilet space after use. This was a bit inconvenient as it made the bathroom floor wet and slippery.
Secondly and more concerning, was an incident involving the housekeeping staff. On the second morning of our stay, we went out for breakfast without placing a “Please Clean Room” sign on the outside door. Surprisingly, when we returned from L9 cafeteria to L3 room, we found that the cleaning staff had entered and was in the middle of tidying the room. We were quite shocked, especially since we had not requested housekeeping service, nor were we informed that staff would be entering the room by default. This was particularly worrying because we had left personal belongings, including a wallet and a mobile phone inside the room unattended. It is same incident happened to other room in L2 as well during our stay. I was curious if someone showering and sleeping in the room, the cleaner will suddenly pop out for cleaning without informed?! Sounds unsafe.
While we appreciate the staff’s efforts to keep the room clean, we believe that guests should be notified or asked for permission before anyone enters the room. This would help ensure both privacy and security for hotel guests.

The hotel was very comfortable to stay in. The bed and pillows were cozy, and the blackout curtains effectively blocked out light. The air conditioning was cool and adjustable. I stayed for a total of 6 nights. Although the hotel staff couldn’t speak English, they were kind and tried their best to communicate. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day.
The bathroom was automatic, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. But everything else exceeded my expectations. Complimentary drinks like water, cola, and Sprite were unlimited. Popcorn, tea, and coffee were also provided for free.
The hotel is small, with only 3 floors. There’s a projector, but it only displays content in Chinese, so I couldn’t understand it. The hotel is actually closer to Middle Huaihai Road Station than West Nanjing Station—both are within a relaxed walking distance, just about one traffic light away. Both stations are located in very walkable areas, with lots of cute shops and a calm vibe, unlike the busy pedestrian zone around East Nanjing Road.
The area around the hotel becomes a nightlife spot in the evening, so there are lots of people around and it doesn’t feel deserted.

Very friendly staff always eager to help and answer all the question through translator, great entertainment for kids and lovely animals to watch. Close to Disney and airport with free shuttle provided. The price quality ratio is really good, if you go to Disney I do recommend you to stay here.
The breakfasts are more Asian, but you would find the bread, eggs, yoghurt, fruit ant coffee/tea there.

To lift luggage up, they helped, bit not when leaving early in the morning.
My stay was transit, if 2-3 days stay, i would go back.
Hotel had nice mini Chinese tea set which made me not to go out to town for an hr to enjoy my tea….
Hotel lobby has good coffee machine. But disappointed on unable to use it for early departure.
I do recommend if you travel light as you have to go up 4-5 steps to go into building.

Hotel was nice, we had a suite which had good space. The only things that could have been better are 1) the bathroom was very small, shower and toilet bowl only, nowhere to put clothes and other stuff you bring, the wash basin was outside the bath room next to the bed, 2) very rarely were there people in the reception that could speak english, used their phone for translation, but were always smiling and doing their best.
Breakfast was mainly chinese style, nice food once you understood how to order. Not optimal if you insist on European type breakfast.
Can recommend this hotel.

This is roughly my five time staying at this accommodation when I have early morning flights out of PVG. I have not had any problems with being dropped off or picked up from the airport with their shuttle service until this last visit when they told me that their first shuttle was at 11:50 am. My flight was at 8 am. Thankfully, the airport is close enough that getting a Didi wasn't a big deal, but I was put off by not being able to utilize a service they advertise, but then didnt provide. Other than that, everything else was fine this visit.

I have stayed in many hotels, but this one is definitely in the top three in terms of hygiene standards! As soon as I entered the door, I could smell a light fresh scent, and there was no stuffy and damp smell like some hotels. Every corner of the room was carefully cleaned——
✔️ **The floor was smooth and spotless**, and it was completely fine to walk barefoot, and it even reflected like a mirror;
✔️ **The bedding was white and fluffy**, and I turned over the corner of the quilt to check, and there was no trace of hair or stains, and the pillowcase still had the smell of being exposed to the sun;
✔️ **There was no water stain in the bathroom**, the glass door of the shower room was shiny and reflective, the toilet seat was marked ”cleaned” with a disinfection seal, and even the gaps between the tiles were spotless;
✔️ **The private places were also full marks**: the remote control was individually packaged with alcohol cotton pads, there was no dust accumulation at the air outlet of the air conditioner, and even when the drawer was opened, there was no dust at all!
The waiter cleaned the room twice a day, and even the data cable that I put randomly was wound up and placed at the head of the bed. When I left the hotel, I saw the cleaning lady disinfecting the door handle——this extreme pursuit of hygiene really makes people feel super relieved!

The apartment is very close to the hospital, a 10-minute walk away, and there is a shuttle service to Disneyland. The room type was upgraded for free on the first and second days. There is also an induction cooker in the room for cooking, which is very convenient.

標標叔叔We arrived at the hotel in the evening and checked in smoothly. The boss was very kind and nice. The room had one large bed and one small bed, which was no problem for three people. There was enough space. There was a small space and a hanging chair outside the room. It was a homestay with Chinese characteristics, and it was designed with great care. We provided free transportation to Disneyland, and each person had a portion of traditional Chinese food for breakfast. Thank you for giving us such a good experience. It is a hotel worth recommending.

1. **Excellent location** – The building is steps away from Zhōupú Subway Station (Line 14). Exiting the hotel lobby brings you directly to the subway elevator, making it super convenient for travelers with baggage. The mall adjacent to the hotel also has a subway entrance.
2. **Adjacent mall** – A large shopping mall is meters away from the hotel lobby. The 3rd floor offers a solid selection of local cuisine restaurants, and there’s a well-stocked supermarket on the B1 level (basement) with various adjacent shops too.
3. **Spacious, clean rooms** – The room was generously sized, and the bathroom was OK. We wiped the floors by ourselves and there was no dirt on the floor. Great.
Notice: the bathroom sink tube has to be sealed with some hermetic or something else because it's literally loose and so the smell gets into the bathroom from sewerage. 5 minutes work.
4. **Great amenities** – The room includes a microwave, a washing machine with a proper drying function (not just a spin cycle), a spacious fridge, a sofa with a coffee table, a work desk and chair, wardrobes, and other essentials.
5. **Flexible housekeeping** – Cleaning services are provided upon request, no matter how short or long your stay.
6. **Thoughtful touches** – A wireless charger on the bedside table was a nice surprise!
7. **Keyless entry** – No physical key cards to lose or share; access is via a digital system.
8. **Practical bathroom feature** – A towel rack for drying towels.
9. **Comfortable bedding** – Two types of pillows provided for different preferences.
10. **Hygienic flooring** – No dusty carpets – rooms feature easy-to-clean stone floors instead.
Cons (mostly building-related, not the hotel itself):
1. **Mixed-use building** – The property feels more like a serviced apartment complex than a traditional hotel. Some floors (like the 12th where we lived) were poorly maintained, though higher floors (e.g., 24th) resembled typical Chinese apartment-style accommodations (but still looked very old and very ”tired”).
2. **Elevator maintenance** – While six elevators are available, they could use more frequent cleaning by building management.
3. **Unusable kitchenette** – Rooms include gas stoves but lack cookware or utensils, making the feature impractical for short stays. (Might be useful for month-long stays, though.)
4. **Entertainment limitations** – The room’s projector and large screen only offer Chinese streaming content with no international options. Access requires a local subscription – my friends lucked out with some content, but I couldn’t get it to work. A minor gripe, but worth noting.

The room is also very spacious and the hotel staff is very friendly. Amenities is also provided with 4 bottles of water and you can ask for more if you needed it at the hotel lobby. Would return again for sure if I am ever back to the city in the future.

DdvdwynThe bad: room is small, we got room with no view, just bricks, alleyway has smoking smell, security operational is unsafe, staff download hotel app on their phone and ask for otp from guest for room or breakfast discount. no bidet for female. breakfast menu is limited with average taste. cutleries kind of dirty.
The good: location is great, near to nanyang pedestrian street, there is laundry room, lot of free water and tissue.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a great environment, and it feels like a quiet retreat in a busy city. As soon as you go out, you will see Binjiang Avenue, which is very comfortable for a walk. The transportation is quite convenient, and you can reach the subway station by bike or on foot. The surrounding takeaways are also quite developed, and robots can deliver meals directly to the door of the room.

MMochafrappppThe room was much older than expected and looked very worn. For the amount we paid I expected the room to at least be more presentable. It did not look like the hotel photos anymore. There was also no conditioner provided, nor body lotion, just shampoo, body wash and hand soap. Toothbrushes can be picked up from the reception. Plug points require a lot of strength to insert, and plugs need to be inserted at an angle. Had to get help to put in our plugs.
That being said, our 2nd floor service ladies were prompt and helpful. The room was also as big as you see in the photos. Bed was comfortable, check in was efficient, breakfast noodles were great. Added on for additional breakfast for 2 nights and extended the room to 2pm check out for 99Y. We were on the 2nd floor close to the lift and there was noise until around 10+pm but other than that it was bearable. The breakfast was also on the 2nd floor.
Location was also great. 5-7min walk straight to the Bund. On this street you can easily see the oriental Pearl tower once you exit the hotel. Nanjing East (Huawei showroom & Daimaru) is right behind the hotel. Manner Coffee and Chagee are both 1 street away (in opposite directions). DIDI can easily pick/drop u off in front of the hotel. It was the weekend and we did not experience any road closures. The hotel is also next door to a branch of a famous crab restaurant chenglonghangxie. Lailaixiaolong, animate, shendacheng are all within walking distance. While we were there, there were 2 separate filmings happening over 2 days. Easy enough to get to Pudong as well. Overall enjoyed our stay, but wish the room was not so worn out.

On the downside the interior design on the pictures was from a different branch or somehow not as nice as on the pictures and a bit basic. Window wasn’t cleaned in a long time.

AAnonymous UserToilet seat had dark yellow stains before I even used it for the first time. Room was old with stain buildup in bathroom and sink areas. Was given toothbrushes and other amenities at the counter. My fav feature is the robot waiter because it is so convenient to just order food to the room while I do my work. Place was hard to get to directly by taxi. Had to be dropped off at a nearby place and walked to the hotel with heavy luggage. Not recommended for people with heavy luggage like me.

GGuest UserLocation is right smacks in Nanjing Road same building as Zara. Easily access to Metro and food. Our room is big with two king size bed and two bathroom with a washing machine and two kitchen sinks. Free dryer is at 8.5 floor. Able to see Pearl of Orient from our room. Can’t complain much with the price I paid as long we get clean sheets. Will definitely stay here again next time.
