Perfect
CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

Excellent
GGuest UserAt first, I thought it was a bit far but once I started to explore, I appreciate the location as it is set away from the crowd but very walkable. About 10 mins walk to the LV iconic ship one way, 10mins walk or thereabouts to West Nanjing Rd Butterfly Cremarous in another direction and if you head off in another direction, about 15mins to IAPM mall.
The service was great. The girls were helpful with our Taobao packages and also when I wanted to order food delivery.
Self washing machine and dryer were easy enough to use.
Cleaners really kept the room tidy.
Some construction when we were around end of May 2026 but not too bad. As with most places in China, you will have random smokers inside but our room did not smell of smoke so that's a RELIEF! Another minor negative was the bathrobe was in tatters but that was only the 1st day out of 4 nights stay Also at times, food delivery person could deliver to your room even though you need card access. Worth nothing though I haven't felt unsafe.
I actually like the room layout, felt spacious and also probably the only hotel where I have watched so many movies.

GGaotuThe location is great, and the room was very clean with excellent facilities. The bed was comfortable, too. My only minor complaint is that the soundproofing could be better; I hope they can improve that. The staff were very attentive and polite. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserLiving in the Disney area, the first choice is the Mosher Hotel. The exclusive shuttle bus is free to travel, and there is no pressure to enjoy the park. Nutritious breakfast is served every day, rich coffee is tasted at any time, and the taste buds enjoy it. Prepare a bucket for soaking feet indoors to relieve the soreness and fatigue of walking. The hotel has its own leisure swimming pool, cool water after play, perfect self-service laundry service, clean and tidy travel without worry, intimate service shows warmth.

EEkaterina SonNice hotel with good breakfast in the morning. There’s no western food but they always have steamed potato, boiled eggs and corn. Also there two types of dumplings, several Chinese dishes and fruits. The room is clean, without specific smells. Bed is super comfy and clean! I love it! The hotel staff don’t speak English but they will help you even with language barrier. They have laundry room and treadmill in public zone. Also they clean the room and change towels everyday.
Thank you so much!
GGuest UserThis is a very professional international youth hostel, mostly frequented by foreigners, so it's a great place to practice speaking English. The front desk staff, mostly young men and women, provide excellent service. During my stay here for a few days, I met friends from Turkey, France, Toronto (Canada), Manchester (UK), Chinese Americans, and more. Especially in the evenings, with music playing, drinks flowing, and lively conversations, the atmosphere was truly wonderful.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and beautiful, very clean, and well-equipped. The washing machine, especially its wash and dry function, was incredibly practical. The breakfast was outstanding, with five or six different noodle options, plus prawns, yogurt, tofu pudding, and so much more – the variety was truly impressive. The front desk service was also excellent; both the young men and women at the reception and the security guards were very welcoming.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserI was pleasantly surprised by my stay this time! The hotel had just upgraded its bedding, and the new sheets felt incredibly soft and breathable. The mattresses were all brand new, providing excellent, even support without sinking. Paired with the latex memory foam pillows, they perfectly contoured to my neck, allowing me to instantly relax after a long journey and enjoy a truly peaceful and sound night's sleep. What I found most thoughtful was the complimentary laundry service. I could send off the clothes I'd accumulated during my travels, saving me the hassle of bringing detergent or hand-washing. The room cleaning was meticulous, with no dust in the corners, and the room had great natural light. The front desk staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick, with efficient communication if I had any questions. The hotel also has a large parking lot, making it stress-free for those driving. Downstairs, there's a wide variety of restaurants, offering diverse choices for all meals. For the same price point, both the facilities and service are top-notch. It's clear the hotel owner is dedicated to improving the quality of the stay. It's incredibly cost-effective for business trips or travel. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose this hotel first for my next visit.

AAnonymous UserOur stay here was absolutely perfect! Check-in at the front desk was super fast. The room had great natural light and an amazing view, and the cleanliness was exceptional. The Bund's scenery definitely lives up to its reputation, and the hotel's location is superb, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean, the service was attentive, and it offered great value for money. Next time I'm in Shanghai, this will be my top choice again! The breakfast was also delicious, highly recommended!

Good
GGuest UserI stayed here for 4 nights and had both good and bad experiences.
The good points were the cleanliness of the room, the housekeeping staff did their job very well, and the location is very good.
However, below are the bad experiences I faced:
- I chose Ji Hotel because many reviews mentioned that there was no cigarette smoke smell. However, since the first day, the smell of cigarettes was all over the corridor. The worst thing is was that the cigarette smell somehow came through into my room (may be throug the air conditioning) making me unable to stay without a mask during days 4 and 5.
- There was a drilling sound, like construction work, that woke me up almost every morning (since 7:43 AM!).
- Dust flew down from something that looked like a ventilation outlet (see the photo) and settled over my stuff every day.
