good quality to price ratio as compared to rooms in the area, good if you are not spending alot of time in the room. manage your expectation in order to have a good stay
sound proofing is not good and air condition is centralised due to the cold weather. not able to adjust to a comfortable heating temperature and we wokeup to a 29degrees room temperature!! the only solution given by the frontdesk was to switch the aircon off. therefore no ventilation for the few nights we are there but due to the cold weather, it is still quite manageable

The location is excellent. Bus stops and metro stations are all a stone throw so you can easily go to main attractions such as The Bund, Nanjing Pedestrian Street, Yuyuan Garden, Xintiandi, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend 👍

This relatively newly renovated hotel is a gem. Very clean and comfortable even though there are still some slight renovation happening but wouldn't really affect your stay. Modern and chic decor - which i really like, cosy and functional. Location is pretty central and you walk to key tourist points within 15mins thereof. however do note there's no parking facility at the hotel vicinity itself and alighting at the entrance of the hotel, there's a camera which may cause some points deduction (happened when my friend sent me back to the hotel late at night and stopped for a very short while, say less than 5mins?).

A very nice hotel with great metro access.
This hotel is well placed with a metro station a couple of minutes walk away. The metro is great to navigate around the tourist attractions of the city. Most of the main tourist attractions could be reached in 20 minutes using the metro.
The room was clean and comfortable. Very large room by Chinese standards. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The hotel is also close to a number of local restaurants and coffee shops. It’s also only a short distance to a nice walking area along the promenade at the river. A great place for a morning run if like me that’s something you enjoy.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only negative to this hotel is that there is a KTX (Chinese Karaoke) next to it. I heard some noise in the evening, but nothing that overly disturbed me and it did seem to get quiet later in the evening when most would be sleeping.

The service was beyond my expectation!
I arrived quite late since I came across province (from Hangzhou) and need to prepare myself in order to travel to South Korea and Japan on the next day. So I planned to wash my clothes and repack my luggage here.
When I arrived here, they asked a lot of questions in case I need anything. They even have a free dumpling soup (เกี๊ยวน้ำ) during 10-11 PM.
I prepared my noodles cups to eat here at first since I researched that not many restaurant surrounded, so they helped my cooked the cup noodles with their coffee machine (for boiled water) and I can had them with free dumpling soups. Felt good!
Washing machines are downstairs, I couldn’t used it since I had no Chinese numbers, so the receptionist helped me too, and the laundry is free here, too.
So I can see many people had the dumpling soup while waiting for their laundry. Full of people in the lobby during 10-11 PM. Never expected to see this.
The room was nice too. Not big but enough space, with a great view of Shanghai. Comfortable room with enough ventilation.
I hope I can come back staying here again one day!

The address is a little off, but the price/performance ratio is quite high. The guest room is very large. The bed in the king-size room seems to be 1.8 meters wide. The bathroom is clean and dry, and the room is simply furnished. For breakfast, there are noodles, wontons, and buns, but the stir-fried dishes and cold dishes are just average.

Apparently only a 1 way either to Disneyland or from disneyland is available per night of stay.
We stayed for 3 nights so we get 3 trips. But we went to Disneyland for 2 days. So we needed 4 trips. The owner was kind enough to give us a free trip back. If not it will be charged at 25 CNY per trip.
Amenities
We booked the romantic long room. There are 3 types of this room with different names. The room floor area is large but almost 50% is outdoor space.
We could not switch off the lights for the first night as we could not find the switches. It was actually hidden behind one of the bed frames.
The visible switches were not in use.
The smart function of the lighting's covered 50% of the lights and 50% of lights were manual
There is NO HEATING even in winter. It is NORMAL for shanghai.
But the toilets were too much. There was no heated lights no heater in the toilet area. No space to hang clothes. The toilet is not opaque/ no curtains. Strictly meant for couples. No privacy.
The toilet bowl was heated and that was nice. It has a bidet function.
No hand soap at the basin but we brought our own soap so we simply switch out the soap to use as hand soap.
We could not figure out the setting but there might be heating? For the overall room. There was a thermostat that was set at 30 degree Celsius but overall still cold
Some inbuilt furniture looks old and worn out but you won't use it so it is fine.
Cupboard
Hanging area was limited but it has a canopy of sorts so we hanged it around there. So no issues with this
Bed
2 pillows per person was provided.
Comfortable
Under the bed was clean.
Floor space
Limited as 50% was outdoor
Kudos to cleaning under the bed
I put 50% of my luggage on walking area and 50% under the bed
My fiancé placed his on the side of the bed
Furniture
1 chair 1 table inside the room
2 chairs and 1 table outside the room on the verandah
Too cold to use but the owner did decorate the verandah with nice walkways and sweet walls
There is a nice and long countertop below the TV which was great for putting stuff
The room was airy
Breakfast was hot and filling. No variety. Same for all 3 days that we were there. 7 to 9am only.

But the hotel cleanliness is very poor , the room has cockroach and informed housekeeping and reception about it, they say will clean it but the cockroach still inside the room after I come back😖😖😖😖

However, the attitude of the front desk guy wasn't great — quite unhelpful. I ask him how long from here to airport he said dunno..
main issue — the room has no aircon. It's more like a HOTcon.
I asked the front desk he just said, ”The remote can't adjust, it's like that. If you feel hot, just open the door.” Seriously? It’s not just warm, it’s HOT.
the room started to smell. I tried adjusting it, but no matter what, it stayed at 27°C.
I asked if there would be cool air at night? They said yes — but now alr 10pm, and it was still hot air blowing.

QQiuyingService was great! All hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. Within hotel is manageable for wheelchair accessibility, but the ramp outside would be way too steep to use a wheelchair. Room design was a little strange due to the open window of room into bathroom, but it has an easily lowerable curtain that makes it a non-issue. SStar80The hotel’s location was excellent. Right in the heart of nanjing road and close to lots of shops and attractions. It is a very cute hotel and staff are very friendly. However it seems like they haven’t maintained it in a while as there are lots of nicks and backs on the walls and surface. That didn’t stop us from having a good time there. There is no breakfast at the hotel even though it’s advertised as 18 yuan per person. Overall we had a good stay and will stay there again next time we are back to Shanghai.
