DEMBA HOTEL ★★
"The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful. The environment is fantastic, and the room was clean and tidy, exactly as pictured. There were also many activities in the evenings. We had a great time with everyone during our stay. The food recommendations were excellent too! I highly recommend coming here for the experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Qingdao."
Barony Park Hotel Qingdao Airport ★★★★
"Having stayed at Jinan Junting before, this was my first time at Bangchen. The room, though small, was well-equipped. I particularly liked the soft, skin-friendly linens with their dual inner and outer colors. Being able to take the connecting corridor directly to the airport for an early morning flight was a huge plus."
Qingdao Huoshan Hostel ★★
"The environment was nice, the stay was great, the space was large, the amenities were new, the receptionist was very helpful, and the waiter was also very handsome. My overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to everyone."
Atour Hotel Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport ★★★★
"They offer a free shuttle, and both the driver and front desk staff are very kind and friendly. The late-night congee and buns were served hot. Its location near Jiaodong Airport makes it perfect for guests staying just one night."
Seaside Adulina Scenic Apartment (Qingdao May Fourth Square) ★★
"Great room location, sea view, convenient transportation, easy to find."
Haiyi International Apartment ★★★★
"The room was spacious and the butler service was very responsive. Having a kitchen and washing machine in the room was super convenient. The only downsides were the weak water pressure in the shower and the large, but useless, bathtub. Several lights were out and hadn't been replaced, which made it feel a bit less than a five-diamond experience."
Yuanjili International Youth Hostel ★★
"This hostel is absolutely fantastic! So clean, and it even looks quite upscale from the outside!"
Qixi Scenic Apartment (May Fourth Square/Olympic Sailing Center) ★★
"Very good, nice environment"
Zebra Hotel ★★★
"The breakfast was terrible."

Yishuwan Hotel (Hi-tech Zone Shimao 52+ Shopping Center)
"The bedding was so soft and cozy, making me feel incredibly relaxed every time I lay down. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices daily, and everything was clean and hygienic. The room layout was comfortable, and the service was gentle and attentive. The facilities were comprehensive, making it a very satisfying stay."
Haidi Youshe Hotel (Licun Subway Station Licun Commercial Street)
"Service: Very welcoming Environment: Average"
Mehood Lestie Hotel (Qingdao CBD)
"The room was very spacious. The facilities were complete, and it was clean and tidy. The environment was top-notch, and the double afternoon tea buffet was also great."
Holiday Inn Express QINGDAO CITY CENTER by IHG
"Overall, I was satisfied. The location is great, right by the Olympic Sailing Center with a subway station nearby and a mall across the street. It's super convenient for getting around and dining. The Holiday Inn Express style is consistent, and the room facilities are quite new. The large washer and dryer in the laundry room were very useful. On the downside, the water pressure in the room was a bit low, which made showering a little difficult, and the coffee machine in the lobby was out of order."
Qingdao Haitian Hotel
"Traveling with my child during the summer vacation, I deliberated for a long time between the St. Regis, MGM, and Haitang Hotel, and ultimately chose Haitang. It turns out I made the right choice. The hotel is very new, and apart from the slightly small rooms, I was quite satisfied with everything else, and it was very clean. The location is also excellent; the side sea view room initially felt a bit misleading, but every afternoon while lounging on the sofa, I had a full panoramic sea view. I'm not sure if it's due to the season or the hotel's overall good climate control, but the humidity felt just right, so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. The service was even more outstanding, from check-in to final departure, the entire experience was great, and they were very accommodating. The most important thing to highlight is that their breakfast was truly delicious; you could tell a lot of effort went into it, and the restaurant on the third floor was also very tasty. Plus, they offered complimentary afternoon tea and a sightseeing tour of 'Sea and Sky' (海上云天), so the value for money was actually quite good."
Sheraton Qingdao Licang Hotel (North Station Branch)
"The room was okay, just a bit old and worn out. The breakfast was good, and the location in the city center made it convenient to get around. I'd consider staying here again next time. Thanks to the front desk!"
MGM Qingdao
"Staying at the MGM Qingdao was a fantastic experience overall, and I must particularly commend the concierge, front desk, and Guest Relations Manager, Elly. When I arrived, the concierge proactively opened the door and handled my luggage, offered me complimentary water, and even helped store my unused bags, which was incredibly convenient. The front desk service was efficient and patient, without any rigid procedures. They proactively asked about my check-in preferences and thoroughly explained breakfast times and hotel facilities. The hotel environment is elegant, and the room was clean and odor-free. Elly from Guest Relations was incredibly warm and generous, and definitely not perfunctory. Her meticulous service truly eased my travel fatigue. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Qingdao."
Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square)
"Facilities: Very comprehensive, especially loved the self-service laundry. 👍 Hygiene: The room was clean and tidy. Environment: The location is very central, close to May Fourth Square and the bustling commercial area. You can go shopping and find food right outside. Service: The staff were enthusiastic and provided excellent service!"
Qingdao Licang Jiahua Hotel
"The large windows let in plenty of sunlight during the day. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was fully equipped. All the facilities were in good working order. The cleanliness was also better than other hotels; there was no dust accumulation. The staff were very responsive and helpful whenever I needed assistance."
Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao
"We're not fans of crowded tourist spots, and our family was looking for a quieter place to visit. Staying here turned out to be a delightful surprise. During check-in, Molly understood our preferences and, instead of just recommending popular Instagrammable places, she suggested Signal Hill Park. From there, we got a fantastic view of the red roofs and green trees, and it wasn't crowded at all. She also gave us some useful tips for getting around by taxi. Our room was clean and bright, with plenty of outlets, which was super convenient for charging our cameras and phones. The breakfast selection was rich and balanced, with a good mix of meat and vegetables. The hotel's location is great for transportation; it's easy to get to various attractions by subway or taxi. The hotel environment is quiet, so after a day of sightseeing, we could fully relax. Molly was very friendly and patiently answered all our questions. It felt really reassuring and comfortable for our family trip."
Grand Regency Hotel
"The hotel boasts excellent transport links and a quiet environment, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. While the facilities aren't brand new, the attention to detail is superb, reflecting the charm of a classic hotel. I'll definitely book here again on my next visit."
Holiday Inn QINGDAO CITY CENTRE by IHG
"My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. I arrived around 4 PM to check in, only to be told by the front desk that my room was still being cleaned and wasn't ready. When I asked how long I'd have to wait, the staff member handling check-ins was unhelpful, saying they didn't know and suggested I wait in my friend's room until mine was ready. What if I wasn't traveling with a friend? Would I just have to sit in the lobby indefinitely? After I pressed further, the staff member finally contacted housekeeping, only to tell me it would still be another 40 minutes. Given that the standard check-in time had already passed, this arrangement was clearly unacceptable. After I voiced more concerns, the front desk finally asked another colleague to assist, and my room was switched from the 18th floor to a suite on the 11th floor. While it happened to be next to my friend's room, which I accepted, the significant drop in floor level still felt like a downgrade to me. Throughout this whole process, the hotel offered no apology nor did they consider any reasonable compensation. The only positive during my stay was a front desk staff member near the express locker. I had a package delivered to the hotel but couldn't find it. This staff member patiently helped me track it down and diligently searched for it. It turned out the package was still inside the hotel's delivery robot, which hadn't returned to the front desk yet. Less than a minute later, the robot returned, and I successfully retrieved my package. I'm grateful for this staff member's proactive and responsible assistance; their service attitude was a stark contrast to the one during check-in. Upon checking out, when asked for feedback, I honestly relayed the entire situation. The hotel only offered a small bag of souvenirs containing a fridge magnet, which felt like a perfunctory attempt to handle the complaint rather than genuinely addressing guest dissatisfaction. The hotel's location is decent, not too far from the city center, but the room decor is very old-fashioned, soundproofing is terrible, and the sink had noticeable stains. The shower drain was poor, causing water to flow out of the cubicle when showering. The breakfast selection wasn't small, but the taste was mediocre, and some food items didn't seem fresh enough. The pool is very small and was mostly occupied by children's training classes during the summer holiday; the gym had very limited equipment, mainly treadmills. Considering the price of the hotel, neither the service nor the facilities met expected standards, especially the cold and impatient attitude of the staff member during check-in, which was very unpleasant. While the service of a few individual staff members was commendable, it wasn't enough to compensate for the overall experience. I will not be staying at this hotel again, nor will I prioritize other hotels within the same group."
Zhonghang Xiangtong Yacht Club Hotel (Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center May 4th Square)
"I hadn't even arrived in Qingdao yet, but customer service had already reached out to confirm my needs and check-in time. Although the decor is a bit dated, it didn't detract from our stay. My child absolutely loved climbing the stairs, and when we opened the curtains, the Olympic Sailing Center was right there – beautiful!"
Himalayas Qingdao Hotel
"Very comfortable and convenient, the staff were also very enthusiastic and efficient. The breakfast was also very varied and delicious, and it was very convenient to get to the stadium, just a walk away."
Crowne Plaza QINGDAO OCEAN SPRING RESORT by IHG
"I paid almost 700 yuan for what turned out to be the worst hotel in years, both in terms of hygiene and overall experience. The room reeked of mildew the moment I walked in. The carpet was so filthy it made me nauseous, and there were dirty spots everywhere. The table and bathroom were sloppily cleaned, and the kettle was too dirty to even think about using. For such a high price, they didn't even provide basic amenities like a shower cap, cotton swabs, or hand soap. All they had were two toothbrushes and two combs, and I had to call the front desk to ask for the rest. Anyone who stays here will regret it – I'm so angry I almost want to complain to the consumer protection agency! It was absolutely, unbelievably awful!!!!"
Tsingtao Time Resort Hotel
"The room amenities were great, and laundry was convenient. The only downside was that the dryers were often in use, but luckily, the room had a dehumidifier. Hanging clothes in the bathroom with the dehumidifier running overnight worked wonders. My kids got several outfits dirty each day playing in the sand, and I was able to wash them all promptly. Breakfast was more Western-style and healthy. The adjacent music restaurant was fantastic; we ate dinner there four nights in a row, and both the Western and Chinese dishes were excellent. The children's toiletries and slippers were good quality, and the room came with pour-over coffee equipment and beans, plus a bed rail for the little one. You could really tell they paid attention to the details. The only slight drawback was the loud music program on Saturday night, with the speakers pointed directly at our room – it was too noisy. If you're staying over a weekend, definitely ask for an odd-numbered room to avoid the noise."
