"The hotel boasts a convenient location, making it easy to access the Olympic Sailing Center, Badaguan, and other attractions. Our room was spacious and bright, and the service was excellent. Upon check-in, we were assigned a personal butler who connected with us via WeChat, ensuring easy communication and prompt responses to any queries. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including some delicious local specialties. Just across the road is the beach, where we enjoyed the beautiful sunset, dotted with white sails, and a gentle sea breeze. The kids had a fantastic time and even discovered some sea anemones. It was a delightful trip to Qingdao!"
Haiyi International Apartment
"We arrived at the apartment quite late, around 1am, feeling exhausted. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a staff member with a rather rude attitude, which left us with a poor first impression. The apartment is spacious and can comfortably accommodate five of us. However, it is visibly aged, with noticeable wear and tear in several areas. The sea view from the window is pleasant, although it is not a full 180-degree view as it is partially blocked by another tower. Cutlery was not provided in the unit and had to be requested from the front desk, which was a bit inconvenient. Nevertheless, the service is generally good. A robot delivers meal orders directly to the unit, and parcels can also be received at the lobby, although guests need to collect them personally. On two occasions when I had to leave early and was unable to attend breakfast, I requested a takeaway option, and they kindly prepared boiled eggs and fruits, which was much appreciated. The location is strategic and within walking distance to May Fourth Station, MIXC Mall, and May Fourth Square. Overall, it was a good stay despite a few shortcomings."

The sea-view gym was equipped with top-of-the-line Technogym machines, offering a truly premium experience."

The room was beautifully decorated in a creamy style, and the bed was very comfortable. The master bedroom even had a bay window with a tatami mat where the kids could play during the day without worrying about falling off. Playing cards there felt just like home. Staying here was incredibly relaxing! The location is convenient; there's a shopping street right outside the complex with everything you need, and it's close to attractions. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao!"

I read in the reviews that the facilities were old, but I wondered how old they could be. Once I moved in, I realized it felt like the 1990s. In this cold weather, I was practically freezing to death. I didn't dare take a shower."

"Let's start with the positives. The service was excellent, especially the front desk, concierge, and the glasses-wearing cleaner on the 29th floor – they were all wonderful. Items I requested were delivered very promptly, and the breakfast selection was varied and tasty. Now for the many negatives. The 29th floor is supposedly the executive floor, but which executive lounge is located directly opposite a guest room? The hallway smelled rancid, which was really off-putting. The room itself was very outdated with poor facilities. Some TV channels lost sound intermittently, and the ancient hairdryer was frankly ridiculous. One of the sinks was completely clogged; washing my face, brushing my teeth, or washing my hands resulted in incredibly slow drainage – it was practically unusable. Please fix it! The room occasionally smelled faintly of urine. I was given a north-facing room, which was chilly even without the air conditioning on."

"I'm a returning guest, and the hotel's service is consistently excellent! The hotel's location is still superb, with many restaurants nearby and the Lida Supermarket. It's also very close to Wanda Plaza and Licun Night Market. The hotel lobby is grandly decorated, with soothing music and vibrant floral arrangements, especially the beautiful Phalaenopsis orchids. The bellboys are all very enthusiastic and proactive in helping with luggage. The front desk service is even better; they remember returning guests' preferences and prepare rooms in advance. Check-in was efficient and professional. My room was upgraded to a high-floor lake view room, which was very spacious with beautiful views from the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was very quiet. The bedding was super comfortable. Breakfast was quite international with a rich variety, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a special section dedicated to Qingdao specialties. The hotel also has a steam room and sauna, as well as a large, clean, heated swimming pool. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Shilaoren Beach, making it perfect for sunrise watchers. I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a sea-view room this time, so I could sit by the window and enjoy the ocean. However, since it's summer now, the sun doesn't rise directly over the sea, so you still need to go down to the beach to catch the sunrise. That said, the room view was lovely. The room facilities were a bit dated, but the space was very generous, and overall, my stay was comfortable."

"The room is very big, 2 adults and 2 children can live in it completely, and there is a sofa bed. The room is on the top floor, and tall people will feel hot on the top of their heads, and they will be exposed to the sun. So the air conditioner cannot be turned off. The swimming pool in the yard is very good, the water is dynamically changed and warm, and it is quite clean. But the pool is quite deep, 1.8 meters, so children should be careful when playing."

"Pretty good! The hotel is right above the subway, and it's a 10-15 minute walk south to Yanner Island. Taxis to downtown attractions usually take about 10 minutes. The bed was really comfortable, but the central AC wasn't very strong."

When we entered the room, the brother brought us fruits and milk. When we checked out, the sister also gave us souvenirs. It was very thoughtful! I will come to Huangdao next time."

The key point is that there are some small traps set for the guests: water in the room is charged (but the price is not marked), water in the corridor is free, and the guest did not notice it until after checking out. After checking out, the hotel specifically called the guest to ask for the cost of a bottle of water. I stayed in several hotels in Qingdao, but this one was the only weird one!"
