Initially, what drew me to the hotel was its convenient location – right next to a subway station, a mere 500-meter walk from key coastal attractions like Zhanqiao Pier and Xiao Qingdao Isle, and surrounded by an abundance of restaurants, bubble tea shops, and convenience stores. However, after my stay, what truly left the deepest impression were the considerate, patient, enthusiastic staff members who possessed excellent professionalism and service-mindedness. Whether it was standard services like check-in and room cleaning, or convenient amenities such as the congee station at breakfast and the laundry room, I consistently encountered smiling staff members who greeted me warmly and proactively addressed any service requests I had. While the hotel's prime location, modern room facilities, high-tier brand, comprehensive amenities, and high-quality breakfast are inherent attractions, it was the highly efficient and professional service team that truly brought these elements to life, seamlessly integrating them and elevating the entire travel and stay experience. This outstanding service was the most impressive bonus, going beyond any visible policies or promotional images. My sincere thanks to every staff member for their excellent service. I hope they continue to maintain this high standard, setting a superb benchmark for the entire industry and contributing to the positive development of Qingdao's tourism and service sectors.

My stay at Furunli Courtyard was amazing! The courtyard is like a beautiful, delicate garden with a lovely atmosphere, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast was good quality, and as a bonus, we received a complimentary cocktail to enjoy at the adjacent café. The café had a fantastic vibe, perfect for taking photos. Highly recommended!

The Min Guo Hotel boasts an excellent location at the intersection of Zhongshan Road and Hubei Road, making it incredibly convenient for visiting Zhanqiao Pier and the train station. The breakfast offers a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, including freshly ground coffee. I even saw a Korean family and some handsome European and American guests. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the rooms were well-equipped, comfortable, tidy, and stylish. The dumpling restaurant downstairs was packed for lunch and dinner; we tried both the seafood and specialty dumplings, and the prices were very reasonable.

This hotel felt like a factory dorm from a period drama. The electrical outlets in the room were broken, there were a lot of mosquitoes, and the bathroom had a slight odor, probably due to the age of the building, but it wasn't too severe. When we arrived, the staff helped with our luggage, but when we left, no one offered assistance. It's not that we absolutely needed someone to carry our bags, but the path leading out of the hotel is a gravel road, which made it really difficult to drag our luggage. Honestly, for this kind of room and service, it should really be around 500, but they're charging over 1000. At that price, you'd be better off choosing a Westin or Shangri-La.

The location is super convenient. It's just one subway stop from Qingdao Railway Station. Take Line 1, exit at Zhongshan Road (Exit A), and the hotel is right across the street. Downstairs is the Great Baodao Cultural District, which is perfect for exploring the night market during the comedy festival and they even have parade events. The service is great, with a delivery robot for food. Special thanks to Linlin at the front desk for upgrading my room type. Although the breakfast area isn't huge, the variety is quite good. The family rooms have outer windows, making them very suitable for family trips, and the value for money is excellent.

However, the hotel is an older building and generally quite dated. The decor is the worst part; the soft furnishings feel a bit cheap. I had the choice between Orange Hotel and Atour, and I chose the more expensive Atour for a more comfortable trip, but the room size and decor were very disappointing. First, regarding room size: I can understand not having a window in a good location, but paying 600 a night for a room where I couldn't even open my suitcase was quite frustrating. Next, the soft furnishings. I've stayed at Atour hotels several times before, expecting Huazhu's brands to be a bit more upscale. But the bedside table was a three-legged stool, and the overall color scheme of the cabinets was just awful. I was quite disappointed. Finally, the door wouldn't close properly without a hard push, and there was always a sewer smell from the bathroom. Although the staff upgraded my room as a solution, it was still a very unpleasant stay.

I ended up choosing Hanting Premium Hotel, and it definitely proved to be the right choice. **Location:** The location couldn't be better. It's directly opposite the East Square of Qingdao Station. After getting off the high-speed train, it's just a few minutes' walk with your luggage. Metro Line 1 and Line 3's Qingdao Station Exit G has an elevator directly connecting to the hotel. Getting to May Fourth Square, Badaguan, and the Underwater World is a direct ride on one bus, no transfers needed, which is super convenient. **Room:** I booked a Deluxe Seaview King Room. Opening the window revealed a stunning first-line sea view, with Zhanqiao Pier, Huilan Pavilion, and Little Qingdao all in sight. Waking up and drawing the curtains in the morning truly made the room price worth it. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the mattress was just the right firmness. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and the hot water was quick and stable. **Service:** The front desk attendant checked me in very quickly. She even proactively reminded me about the low tide for clam digging and offered tips to avoid tourist traps in the area. She also gave me a bottle of water when I left, which was a nice touch and a big plus for the attention to detail. **Amenities:** There's a self-service laundry room, which was very convenient for washing clothes after two days of exploring. The breakfast had both Western and Chinese options, with porridge, steamed buns, bread, and hot dishes available – perfect for a 'Northern stomach' like mine. Right downstairs are Zhanqiao Pier, Zhongshan Road, Yinyu Lane, and the Catholic Church. It was lovely to take an evening stroll and enjoy the sea breeze. For this price, staying in a sea-view room in the core area of Zhanqiao is incredibly good value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao.
