Hotels in May Fourth Square/Olympic Sailing Center, Qingdao

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel was easy to find and just a few minutes' walk from the business district and tourist attractions. Upon entering, there were no strange odors, and the floors and bathroom corners were spotless. The toiletries were of good quality. The front desk staff checked me in quickly and even proactively offered advice on local sightseeing routes. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the soundproofing at night was excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. Breakfast offered a wide variety of hot dishes, pastries, and fruits, all tasting great. This will definitely be my top choice for future trips!

Our room was comfortable, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. One thing to be aware of when booking: our room had a private bathroom located outside the room. We unfortunately didn’t notice this detail in the fine print when booking, so I would recommend checking this carefully before choosing the room. A few suggestions that would make the room more comfortable: * Add a mirror inside the room. * Add some hooks for hanging clothes and belongings. * Add a small cupboard or shelving area for clothes, as there is currently a desk but limited storage space. Overall, I feel the room could be better equipped, especially for a longer stay. On the positive side, our bathroom was cleaned every day, and fresh amenities were thoughtfully left outside our door each day. The gentleman who came to collect us was also extremely helpful and made our arrival much easier. With a few small improvements, I think this could be an even more comfortable and enjoyable place to stay in Qingdao

The hotel room was very spacious, facing the sea, and super comfortable. Waking up to the ocean view every day was incredibly refreshing. The sea changed colors at different times of the day and in varying weather conditions, which was beautiful. Both the room and bathroom overlooked the sea, which was stunning. However, the lighting in the shower area was too dim, and some of the facilities felt a bit outdated. Housekeeping was diligent, but the cleanliness of the beds could be improved. The hairdryer in the room was very noisy and old. Ordering takeout was incredibly convenient, with a robot delivering it right to the door. The front desk staff were also very helpful and provided excellent service.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Qingdao City Center. The hotel boasts an excellent location, making travel incredibly convenient. Vivian and Ann at the guest services center were very responsive; my room requests were promptly handled after a phone call. The staff were all polite and gentle, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The overall service was professional and standardized, and the environment was quiet and comfortable.

This was my first time staying at a Hampton by Hilton, and overall, I had a great experience. The service was quite good, it offered excellent value for money, the environment was pleasant, and the facilities were comprehensive. When I checked in, the young lady at the front desk seemed a bit new and wasn't very clear on things when I asked questions. Later, I asked someone who I believe was a supervisor. My room was fully booked on the first day, but they upgraded my room type on the second day.

This place is great! The staff are all very responsive and have excellent attitudes, always ready to help solve any issues. Their attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and overall demeanor are flawless. What stood out the most was their genuine enthusiasm! Especially the guy at the front desk with glasses and the girl in the blue top with her hair up – they were fantastic! The other young women in black dresses were also super awesome! The location is #1. There’s a whole street of seafood restaurants right downstairs. The Qingdao Yard Seafood downstairs is definitely worth trying; it’s not expensive, has a great atmosphere, and the draft beer is delicious! Dining and relaxation: #1. Transportation: #1, truly well-connected and so convenient! This is definitely a place you won't regret staying at!!! It truly lives up to its top ranking. I'm running out of words to describe it, I need to go look up more compliments! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🌸🌸🌸 Speechless~

The B&B's location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk to the seaside. The room was clean and tidy, and the unbeatable sea view was absolutely stunning. In the evenings, we could enjoy the light show and drone performance. The host and auntie were very kind and took great care of us. Thank you so much! 😊

The room was surprisingly great, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was quite good, and the hygiene was top-notch. The room layout was also very nice. The service was excellent, except for the delivery robot – there was only one, and it only had one compartment for food, so it got a bit slow when many people ordered takeout. Overall, I was very satisfied; there was no smoke smell, the air conditioning was cool without any odd odors, and the soundproofing was good too 👌
