"The location is really great, there is an enormous shopping mall with all the stuff and the sea is in close proximity. The building feels a little outdated, but the view and location are superior. There is a little kitchen for you to cook your stuff, but there are also many options to eat in the nearby restaurants. Overall, it is a really good choice for this location, the sea view is questionable, but believe me, you better walk a little to see the sea yourself. Skyscraper's view is also really amazing!"

"The staff were good, and the rooms and bathroom were clean. Thankfully the staff sent me instructions as to how to find the place the day before check in. However, the bed I was assigned was broken and I found out by trying to climb into it and then it slipped and grazed my shin. Thankfully I had first aid in my bag. The staff then gave me a nicer room as compensation, which I'm grateful for. But then when it came time to checkout (early in the morning), the elevator wasn't working and for at least 20 minutes I was trying to get out of the building. Luckily, a staff member appeared and guided me towards another elevator. I was almost late for my train to Beijing. Overall, the staff, bathrooms, rooms, price and location are good, but the rooms conditions need inspection so nobody else gets an injury when trying to sleep and the condition of the elevators because it was a hassle to try to leave the building."

"Location It's very close to Wanxiangcheng. It's adjacent to The Westin Hotel, so it's best to book a Westin taxi. Since it's centrally located, taxis can get a bit congested, but overall, the location was good. Cleanliness This was my second visit to Qingdao, and I had a good experience staying at another apartment before. However, there was dust where the beds were, unorganized liquor bottles in the kitchen cabinets, moldy wallpaper near the front door (as seen in the photo), and a sticky, almost Chinese-style sauce container. While not severe, there was a general feeling of cleanliness throughout. Perhaps it was just my accommodation, but overall, the cleanliness was poor. Amenities The air conditioning was described as centrally controlled, but I'm not sure if that's accurate because it was translated. There are two rooms, each with two beds and a built-in closet for hanging clothes. There's one bathroom. There were three of us, so we just used it, but for four, it wouldn't be enough. But perhaps it's just China, but the air conditioning in the living room wouldn't go down no matter how low I turned it. Each room also had an air conditioner, which was adjustable and kept it comfortably cool. I set it to 21, but don't expect it to be 21 in Korea. I usually set it to 24-25 at home, so it felt about the same. There are four elevators, but they take forever. There's a floor sign inside, but no outside, so you can't tell where you are. The lobby on the first floor is also hot. Check-in and check-out are in room 3605. When you check in, if you add us as a WeChat friend, they'll bring towels and other things you need. I only received one card key, but I'm not sure if they provide more. I stayed for two nights, and the cleaning service consisted of a simple cleaning, towels, and water. The outlets all have the same voltage, so you don't need to bring your own. It may vary from person to person, but I woke up with a sore throat. If I get a massage and relax and sleep there, I'll have a sore throat again. This was my first time staying at this place, and aside from the cleanliness, I felt it was a decent place to stay for the price. However, if you're someone who expects above-average cleanliness, you might find it difficult. If I were to go to Cheongdo again, and the flight and room prices are expensive, I'd probably go back again if I wanted to save money. Otherwise, I wouldn't!"

"The apartment is ideally located, just a few minutes' walk from May Fourth Square, and surrounded by numerous restaurants and convenience stores. It's incredibly spacious, featuring two bedrooms, a living room, and three beds, providing more than enough room for 6 people. From the sea-view room, you can truly enjoy ocean and sailboat vistas, with the listing photos accurately reflecting the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartment also has a washing machine with a drying function, which was a lifesaver for doing laundry. (A quick tip for summer travel: quick-dry fabrics are a must – wash them at night and they'll be dry by morning!) The shower had excellent water pressure and stayed hot and strong even after four consecutive showers. The air conditioning was very effective. Initially, the central AC controls (each room has its own wall-mounted panel) were a bit tricky to figure out, but once adjusted, they worked perfectly. The TV was quite interesting – a huge screen with a touch-sensor power switch hidden on the back, which took a moment to figure out how to operate. While I'm not sure if accommodation in Shinan District is generally pricier than Huangdao District, it was certainly more expensive than our last stay near Golden Sands Beach. Overall, it's a great choice for family trips, offering ample space and plenty of beds."

"Very good location with big shopping mall nearby. Allow us early check in and upgrade us to a two bedroom unit (maybe due to less peak season). Only that one of the bed is quite hard; And do not have a desk for my labtop working (even a small one still nothing)."

"Very very close to May 4th Square, and the coastline. Although, there was a noticeable difference between the photos displayed on here compared to the room I had. However, all the facilities were there, it's very secure, easy to find (once you figure out that the entrance is around the corner from the point that the taxi drops you off at). Overall, it was suitable. No complaints."

"I stayed here with my mom. The check-in process was smooth, and as a foreigner, I needed to complete the temporary residence registration, which the staff kindly assisted me with. The staff provided all the help we needed during our stay. I truly appreciate their prompt communication and professional service. My mom and I had a wonderful experience here. The accommodation is very close to the 5th of May Park, with excellent access to the subway, and it’s conveniently located near a department store. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find whatever we needed. If I visit Qingdao again, I will definitely choose this place."

"The Yihai Hotel, which we carefully selected, is truly excellent. Firstly, it's conveniently located across from Exit C of May Fourth Square, with the MixC across the street. Our housekeeper came downstairs to pick us up. The two-bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean, with a 1.8-meter bed, a washing machine, and a kitchen with steaming facilities. The view from the window was stunning. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Qingdao."

"It's right opp mayfourth square. Superb good view. Near to mrt station exit D. Many food places ard 5mins walk. We have the whole place to ourself. 2 toilets & 4 doublebed. Host is contacted via wechat when we need help or to ask places of interest. There's a washer with detergent. And hanging rack. We manage to hang our clothes daily and it's usually dry the next day."

"The location is fantastically convenient. Room is very spacious and comfortable. Room is clean with good maintenance. Definitely will chose this hotel again if I’m back to Qingdao."
