I chose to visit Qingdao because of a hotel – I was so captivated by the Beer Time Hotel that it became my reason for coming here. This trip was a family outing with my mother, and we stayed in the full sea-view suite that had initially caught my eye. I absolutely loved the design of this room type. From the living room, the bar, the bathroom, and the full sea-view balcony directly facing the ocean, every design detail won me over. My visit to Qingdao was solely for this hotel, so naturally, the experience was undeniably excellent. Of course, what I loved most and found most interesting was that the hotel placed two beer taps in the room. You could just turn on the taps at the bar and in the bathing area to pour fresh beer. It was incredibly novel and fun. The beer was very fresh, with a shelf life of only 24 hours. There was so much of it that you could keep pouring and never finish it – a joy that can only be understood by experiencing it yourself. Qingdao truly embodies its beer culture in every single detail. The beer in the bathing area was grapefruit-flavored, sweet and sour and delicious, and there were even beer hop bath bombs. The entire room was full of beer-themed elements, which was super thoughtful. The hotel is located at Golden Beach in Huangdao District, which is the main venue for the Qingdao Beer Festival. You can walk to the large beer tent in just a few steps, so the location is uniquely excellent. The hotel service was also exceptional. First, we received three welcome drinks, complimentary beer ice cream, and unlimited drinks at the bar on the first floor. They also gave guests many discount coupons. These hidden perks were like grand surprises, multiplying the enjoyment of our stay. For example, the two free beer coupons and the 50 RMB gift coupon for the Hapi Duck Trendy Toy Store were genuinely free – no strings attached. For the toy store, you could simply pick up 50 RMB worth of items, not one of those deals where you have to spend 199 or 299 RMB first to get 50 RMB off. It was a genuine 50 RMB voucher for goods, truly honest. But what I want to highly, highly praise are the three complimentary professional photo shoot services provided by the hotel. Honestly, I initially felt indifferent about such photography services and didn't pay much attention to them. We have our own professional equipment, and I have very high standards for photos. Because we travel and take photos frequently, I've managed to train my husband to a pretty professional level among amateurs. So, I even thought the photo shoot might be a bit time-consuming and that it wouldn't matter if we canceled it due to time constraints. But! Who! Knew! This travel shoot ended up producing some of the best photos of our lives. There were virtually no bad shots; every single one was perfect. I loved them so, so much. All 37 photos left both my mother and me full of praise. At 10:30 AM, under the bright sun, I didn't think good photos were possible, but the results were unexpectedly excellent. On the rooftop, the red-roofed houses, the coastline, and our smiling faces were captured in each frame. The photographer was a young man; I forgot to ask his name, but he was exceptionally good at taking photos and guiding our poses. I was stunned when I saw the final pictures. This travel photography service should definitely be continued – it left us with wonderful memories of our entire Qingdao trip and immortalized all the beautiful moments. A very special thank you. Where do I even begin? I've been staying at this hotel every time I visit Qingdao for years! The location is absolutely amazing! It's just a 5-minute walk across the street to the Beer Festival venue. A short stroll north takes you to Golden Beach, and if you head south a bit further, you'll reach Silver Beach, perfect for sunset views! Parking downstairs is convenient, and the dining options are fantastic – Lü's and Daguoqiang are right there! The rooms are also spacious, around 70㎡, making them incredibly comfortable and roomy. Plus, they come with a balcony offering garden or sea views! In short, highly recommended! 👍

Our housekeeper Bella was incredibly attentive. She contacted us in advance to confirm our arrival time and even upgraded our room. The room was super spacious and came with complimentary welcome fruits. The view of the endless ocean was absolutely stunning. Bella was very prompt in responding to all our daily requests and thoughtfully recommended some great restaurants. Our stay was fantastic! Next time we're in Qingdao, we'll definitely choose The Lalu again!

The hotel boasts an impressive and spacious architecture. The rooms are large and spotless, and the bathrooms have a separate wet and dry area. From the higher floors, you can enjoy a view of Tangdao Bay. Jennifer, a staff member, was polite and incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's location is convenient, close to a shopping area, and just across the road from the coastal promenade. The breakfast offers a wide selection, and the facilities are well-maintained.

Our group of six stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Golden Sands from August 11-13. On the second day, my sister got her period unexpectedly and was quite flustered. We immediately called the front desk, and a young man heard the situation and then consulted with his female colleague. When the young lady took the call, she said there was a supermarket nearby and offered to help us buy some. About 10 minutes later, she appeared at our door, a little out of breath, and handed me the sanitary pads. We were incredibly grateful. Her surname is Chen, and she truly helped us out in a critical moment. We'd like to express our sincere thanks! We'd love to stay at this welcoming hotel again if we have the chance!

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean, the environment was quiet, and I had a great rest. The hotel's location is quite convenient, and the lobby is comfortably decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The room had good natural light, and the bedding was clean, so I slept very soundly at night. The bathroom was spotless, and the hot water was consistent. The soundproofing was decent; I barely heard any noise. I particularly want to commend the housekeepers April, Kayla, and Yuki. April was quick and friendly during check-in. I contacted Kayla a few times during my stay, and her responses were always prompt, and she resolved issues efficiently. Yuki would greet me in the hallway, which felt very welcoming. My stay was very smooth. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in the area.

I brought my family to Qingdao West Coast this time, and after comparing several hotels, I chose this one. I truly feel it was excellent value for money after staying here! The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a two or three-minute walk to Golden Beach, where the sand is incredibly fine and soft underfoot. It was so convenient for taking the kids to dig in the sand and play in the water. The Beer City is right next door, which was perfect for a post-dinner stroll to aid digestion. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket, so you don't have to go far to buy water or snacks. For those driving, rest assured the hotel offers free parking with charging stations, saving you extra parking fees – it's completely hassle-free. We booked a sea-view room, and the balcony offered an unobstructed 180-degree view directly overlooking the ocean. We didn't have to wake up early to rush to the beach; we could just open the curtains and watch the sunrise. In the evening, we sat on the balcony, enjoying the sea breeze and watching the lights of Beer City come on – it was perfect for photos. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, and it was spotlessly clean. There wasn't a single water mark or speck of dust on the floor or in the bathroom. The bedding was soft and thick, and the mattress was very comfortable. After a full day out, we'd collapse into bed and fall asleep instantly. The smart lock meant no worries about losing or misplacing a room card. We had 24-hour hot water, stable WiFi, a hairdryer, and all basic toiletries provided – it was truly a 'check-in with just your bag' experience. The staff were incredibly genuine and helpful. They responded quickly to messages if we had any issues, and patiently explained routes for beach activities and where to find local seafood markets, without any perfunctory replies. The facilities were also comprehensive; the kids had a blast. There's also a luggage storage service, so we could check out and still store our bags to go for another stroll on the beach. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. The environment and service were top-notch. It's suitable for both couples and family vacations. Next time I visit Golden Beach, I'll definitely choose this place again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking to see the sea on the West Coast!

However, I did encounter a couple of drawbacks: Location: As a non-driver, the hotel's location proved somewhat inconvenient, requiring me to rely entirely on taxis to get around. Smoking Policy: I was concerned to see guests smoking in common areas, particularly while waiting for the elevators. This inevitably forced fellow guests and staff to inhale secondhand smoke. Furthermore, placing large ashtray stands beside the elevator banks on every floor implicitly encourages this behavior. I strongly encourage the management to consider implementing a smoke-free policy in all indoor public spaces for the health and well-being of both guests and staff.

This newly opened Hampton by Hilton boasts a very convenient location, close to the subway station with an abundance of dining options nearby. Pizza Hut, McDonald's, and convenience stores are all easily accessible, along with many other restaurants of varying sizes. The old Qingdao specialty restaurant next door serves particularly delicious food. The room was very clean, the bedding was neat, and the facilities were brand new. The front desk staff, Yulia, was friendly and promptly addressed any requests. The breakfast offered a good variety of dishes, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the freshly cooked noodles were very popular. Staying here made our trip very hassle-free. Five-star rating!
