I absolutely loved the service at this hotel! I was traveling with my dog, so I specifically looked for a pet-friendly hotel. To my surprise, when I checked in, I received a package of dog treats (a pack of Crazy Dog chicken jerky). I also told the front desk staff that I hoped to find a room where my dog wouldn't disturb others (because if it's too close to the elevator or an outside area where people pass, my dog might bark). The staff found me a very quiet room, and my dog barely made a sound! Plus, all the staff members were incredibly friendly towards animals. The room itself was typical Atour – very clean and comfortable. And the surprises kept coming! When we checked out, the front desk staff heard we were driving and even gave us a special little driving gift package! All in all, this hotel truly warmed my heart!

This newly opened Hampton by Hilton boasts a very convenient location, close to the subway station with an abundance of dining options nearby. Pizza Hut, McDonald's, and convenience stores are all easily accessible, along with many other restaurants of varying sizes. The old Qingdao specialty restaurant next door serves particularly delicious food. The room was very clean, the bedding was neat, and the facilities were brand new. The front desk staff, Yulia, was friendly and promptly addressed any requests. The breakfast offered a good variety of dishes, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the freshly cooked noodles were very popular. Staying here made our trip very hassle-free. Five-star rating!

Our family chose this hotel for our trip to Qingdao, and the overall experience was great. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious enough, making for a very relaxing stay. Xiaoxiao, one of the staff members, was very kind and easy to communicate with. The hotel environment was quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, so you don't have to go far for daily necessities or meals. It's a very suitable base for exploring and traveling, and we'll definitely consider it first for our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay! Matt provided attentive and thoughtful service. The hotel is in a prime downtown location, right by Exit E of the May Fourth Square subway station, making it very easy to get around. We were a group of six traveling over the Golden Week holiday and booked three rooms in total. We contacted the front desk in advance to request that our rooms be on the same floor. Despite the hotel being fully booked for the holiday, The Westin went above and beyond to accommodate us—including flexibly upgrading one of our deluxe suites to a studio suite with partial sea views on the same floor. We were thoroughly impressed! The front desk staff, restaurant crew, and housekeeping team were all warm, welcoming, and greeted us with smiles throughout our stay. They even sent complimentary local Qingdao specialty drinks to our rooms, truly living up to 5-star standards. The swimming pool was not crowded at all; the water temperature was comfortable, and there were several warm whirlpools—perfect for an evening workout or just unwinding. The breakfast buffet was decent: the dining area was spacious, and seating was well-organized. However, given the price point, it would have been even better if there were more pastry and dessert options.

The first impression was that it was clean, beautiful, and the room was exceptionally quiet and cozy. The hotel boasts a grand architectural design and numerous rooms, reflecting the style of an established star-rated hotel. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable musty smell. However, the mattress was very thick and incredibly comfortable to sleep on. We ran out of tissues in the room, but the housekeeper promptly brought some when we requested them. There were no disposable bath liners for the bathtub, and they weren't available for purchase, which is an area where service could definitely be improved. Given its large scale, the hotel could consider offering childcare services similar to Club Med. A kids' play area with soft play structures, slides, and a ball pit would be a great addition, allowing parents to relax. There was no buffet available. With such a large property, inter-departmental communication seems to be an issue. The information provided by the housekeeper for the 1928 Beer Bar's dining options was incorrect. After checking out, the housekeeper asked for a good review. I provided some suggestions, but the housekeeper, 'Dabaitu' (Big White Rabbit), never replied. It feels like the service in northern China is often a 'do-it-because-my-boss-told-me-to' mentality, and any extra requests from guests are seen as an inconvenience. I really liked the breakfast buffet where many of the attendants were older, creating a very harmonious atmosphere, like being cared for by parents while away from home. The breakfast selection was extensive. There are two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Cat petting costs 19.9 for children and 29.9 for adults, with single entry and unlimited time. Feeding animals costs 10 yuan, which includes one portion of feed. **However, if you write a good review for 1 yuan, you get fewer carrots than the 10 yuan portion. The animals seemed a bit pathetic, with the little horse constantly kicking the wire fence.** There are two swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. The buffet at the 1928 Beer Bar is more Western-style. Many people might not be used to it. We tried it, and the quality of the desserts was excellent! There's a beach right behind the hotel, with some rocks, but not too many. You can go tide pooling in the early morning and at night. It's too hot during the day due to strong sun, and there isn't much seafood to find then either. The package included access to the Haiquanwan Hot Springs, but I must mention: it was dirty. There were no tissues or disposable combs in the hair-drying area (only a few scattered combs for everyone to share). With this level of service, I won't be returning. The hotel's location is indeed a bit remote, making it suitable for self-driving. There's a Shandong University cafeteria and museum nearby, which I'd give five stars!

The location is great, right near May Fourth Square, making it easy to catch the light show. You can also rent electric scooters nearby for a scenic ride along the coast, with convenient access to various attractions. It's also in a commercial area with many large shopping malls. The hotel isn't directly on the street, so it's quiet, and the service is good. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk directly to the beach from the ground floor. The room we were assigned faced the sea, offering unbeatable ocean views. The seafood and BBQ restaurants nearby are also great, and getting around is convenient. Highly recommended.

For the first few days of my stay in Qingdao, I booked the compact single room. This time, for two days, I tried the double-bed room with a table and a large window, and it is really excellent for the price. The room is extremely clean and has all the basic amenities such as a shower, dental kit, and towels. One small difference is that instead of traditional cloth towels, they provide disposable paper-fiber towels. The room is also much more spacious than the single room, even though the price increase is very small. I paid about 55 RMB for the smaller room, while this room cost around 63–64 RMB, but the size is almost double. The room has a very large window facing the road in front of the hotel. I expected it to be noisy, but surprisingly it was not. There are many power outlets and switchboards, which makes it convenient for charging phones or laptops. The room also has a large TV, along with a table and chair where you can comfortably sit and work. The staff, as I mentioned earlier, are extremely friendly. By the end of my stay, they almost felt like friends. If you order food or buy items from e-commerce platforms like Jingdong or Taobao, the staff will collect the packages and store them safely on the first floor. Sometimes the delivery person will even bring the order directly to your room. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the room was very well maintained and spotless. It also includes a hairdryer and hangers. The room I booked had two beds, so if you are traveling with a colleague for business, this is a great option. The location is not extremely central, but it is still convenient. The nearest subway station is about a 10–15 minute walk, which was not a problem for me. There are also several convenience stores nearby where you can quickly buy snacks or basic items. Overall, the room is very well maintained, extremely clean, and free of dust.
