"A wonderful and cozy hotel with a perfect location!
I had a fantastic stay here. The property is beautiful, the breakfasts are great, and I was so pleasantly surprised to find a coffee maker in my room—it made my mornings perfect.
The best part is the incredible location. The hotel is just a short walk from the beautiful seaside promenade, where I enjoyed lovely walks and watched stunning sunsets every evening. It was also incredibly convenient to be able to easily walk to major sights like May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center.
I had such a positive experience that I am already planning to stay here again on my next trip! 🌸🌸🌸"

KKurmiThe location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic perfect for a nice staycation, it is near the Bay with a great view of the ocean, with May 4th Square, Olympic Sailing center and Third Bathing Beach all at a walking distance.
The locality is quite and calm and allows you to have a fabulous experience of the nature and its calm
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Qingdao in a budget friendly way and experience the best staycation.
The staff is super friendly, can speak English which is a great plus for foreigners, has a nice cafe which serves some of the best hot chocolate I ever had.

This price is really recommended.

GGuest UserThis was my second time staying at this hotel for a business trip to Qingdao. Even before checking in, I received a warm call from the hotel staff asking if I needed complimentary airport pickup service. This made me feel incredibly cared for right from the moment of my arrival.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the check-in process was quick and efficient. The front desk staff thoughtfully reminded me that I could pre-book airport drop-off service for the next day, which was very considerate. The room was clean and bright, the linens were soft and gentle on the skin, making for a particularly comfortable sleep experience.
The next morning, I ran into the hotel's General Manager during his inspection near my room. He proactively and kindly greeted me, which made me feel very respected. It's worth mentioning that the hotel lobby now offers Qingdao draught beer service, and they also provide in-room dining options.
When it was time to leave for the airport, the hotel shuttle was already waiting at the lobby entrance. The General Manager personally saw off every guest, not only helping load luggage into the car but also carefully closing the car door and waving goodbye. The service was incredibly attentive to every detail. Upon arrival at the airport, the driver proactively reminded us of the departure hall's floor, helped us with our luggage, and politely bid farewell to each guest.
The entire stay was incredibly smooth and warm, with thoughtfulness evident in every detail. I very much look forward to my next opportunity to stay here.

Dear Westin Qingdao Team,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the room change request process I experienced today. I initially requested a room change for a better view, and despite waiting for over an hour, I did not receive any proper response or resolution.
When I first arrived at my room, I found that one side of the view was almost entirely blocked by the neighboring building, which was not what I expected. I called the front desk to request a room change, but after 20 minutes with no response, I called again. I was told the team was checking on it. After waiting another 10 minutes without any follow-up, I called once more. The staff seemed to have difficulty communicating in English and repeated that they were still checking. Eventually, I was told that a room on the 16th floor might be available, and someone would come to show it to me.
However, no one came. I waited again, then called once more about 10 minutes later, only to be told that the front desk was still confirming and that the new room would not be ready for another 30 minutes. At this point, I had already wasted nearly an hour of my time in Qingdao without any clarity on whether I could even change rooms.
As a guest who chose your esteemed hotel for its reputation for excellent service, this experience has been highly disappointing. The lack of communication and inefficient handling of a simple request does not meet the standard expected from the Westin brand.
I kindly request a formal explanation of this situation and an appropriate form of compensation for the inconvenience I experienced. I hope this matter will be addressed seriously to ensure a better guest experience going forward.

AAnonymous UserWe were given a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room was very spacious, and the service was excellent. For families traveling with kids, having laundry facilities available was incredibly convenient. The breakfast area was very clean and well-maintained; it would have been even better with a wider variety of options. The hotel's location is also very convenient for getting around, with easy access to Metro Lines 2 and 3, plus various bus routes. One minor issue was the low water pressure in the bathroom and slow drainage, which might be due to ongoing renovations.

GGuest UserThe last stop of this May Day trip to Qingdao was this B&B at the foot of Laoshan Mountain. It was really my wisest decision. The room is right by the sea, and you can see the sea when you open the balcony door. I never comment, but this time I couldn't help but come and leave a good review. The lady at the front desk was really enthusiastic and patient. She helped with all kinds of things, delivered water, and raised a very cute little Shiba Inu~
The photos taken in the B&B were also very good. The room was also very clean and comfortable to live in. The B&B was on the edge of the cliff, and you could also go down to the beach through a small path not far away, so it was also good to take a walk. I didn't get a ticket for the return high-speed rail, so I stayed for another night. If I come to travel again in the future, I must revisit the old place again

NNatasha PutterMy kids and I spent a week in Qingdao and stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It turned out to be a lovely getaway. The room was clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and offered a stunning ocean view—plus, we were treated to fireworks every evening right from our window, which was a magical touch.
Breakfast was available every morning with a good range of options; we appreciated the variety. Room service was a hit with the kids—they couldn’t get enough of the spaghetti bolognaise and popcorn chicken! I personally enjoyed the club sandwich and the beef noodles.
We devoted an entire day to the water park, where the kids had an absolute blast. Although some parts of it could use renovation, it didn’t dampen our fun.
One of our favorite activities was cruising around the resort on four-wheel e-bikes—it felt like a private adventure since much of the area was quiet and fairly abandoned, but that added a special charm.
The beach is also just across the road, so you can go play in the sand at any time, there are also some men who offer horse and jet ski rides right on the beach. The beach also isn’t too crowded.
The only drawback was the resort’s location. It’s quite far from most of Qingdao’s main attractions, so every excursion required at least an hour-long Didi ride. Still, the experience was well worth it, and we genuinely enjoyed our stay. We’d absolutely return again.

GGuest UserThis is not your top five-star hotel, if that's what you're after. I've seen much better ones.
BUT, I somehow had the best swimming beach vacation since 1975 at this hotel.
Problems:
1) worn-out towels:
2) no clothing cupboard;
3) no bathrobes;
4) smallish room size;
5) noone speaks English at the check-in desk
6) no in-room safe.
Havingg said that, I REALLY enjoyed a simple swimming beach vacation at this holiday. They clean up my room when I asked them to; They don't bother you when you're there; they're friendly when you check in or out. And there's a common refrigerator at the check-in desk if you really need to have your food to be preserded for a couple of days.
One problem: DIDi cars have a hard time accessing you: the road outside the Hoel is pretty much heavily-used, so get ready to facing difficulties when getting to your DIDI ride...
Overall, a very positive outlook. Will definitely come again

GGuest UserI stay here every time I come to Qingdao. The room has a small yard and is very clean. It is very quiet and noise-free. The restaurant here is also highly rated. Parking is available inside. The bed is large and comfortable, and it is spacious for a family of three with children.

YYigexiaoyonghu-The B&B is next to the observation deck on the top of the mountain, overlooking Qingdao. The environment is very good and quiet. There is free parking and you can get there directly. The location is very good and it is very convenient to travel.
The style is very niche and it looks good for taking pictures. The room is fully equipped with free snacks and drinks, as well as projection equipment, but the network is really not very good. Each room is equipped with 2 Western breakfasts, and the meals are served when people arrive. My husband and I are quite full. I want to come again next time I come to Qingdao~ The owner sister is very beautiful and the service is super good~
