"Our first hotel at Harbin was Manhattan hotel. It was a good hotel but interior looked abit old.Need to change their furniture and the aircond because it was so noisy.But the customer service was good ,She manage to change my room to another room since the aircond was so noisy.Otherwise the breakfast was really delicious and the location was really near to hagia sophia cathedral.Anyway thank you and all the best."

"The service was great. We were given a honeymoon gift on our first night by the cleaning staff, and they were really sweet to come early the next day to give us extra bottles of water. We especially would like to thank 2029 服务员for always greeting us so warmly, and for keeping our messy room tidy. The hotel is along the main shopping street, so it was really convenient to get to places and to get food around the area. It was also really quiet even though it was near the main district. There were great options for food around and it was fairly near the train station so we could take the train to all of the tourist sites nearby like 冰雪大世界. It’s also near the morning market with really good breakfast options. We also got 2 free ice creams from their restaurant, which were delicious. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay, we would stay again! PS the free chocolate at the hotel lobby is great! "

"The hotel has a great location just beside the railway station, we were given early check in when we arrived at 10am. The room is warm in winter, and has hot water, great ventilation. The bed and pillow is very soft and comfortable. Rooms are sound proof or we just didn't hear any other customers at all. There is a washing laundry room for free for guests. Completely in love with this place. Perfect stay if not for the customer service that marrs that experience. The cons is the staff. We stayed at hanrei twice, and when I checked in the second time, the front desk forced me to show her that I had reviewed the last time. When I hadn't review the first time yet and told her I will do it later, she refused to let us leave until it's done. I was tired and couldn't find how to review, so I gave her my phone (so she would do it and let us go) and she gave herself 5 stars. The front desk does not have much hospitality. It is worse if you speak English with them, giving each other side glances and giggling whenever we asked questions in english. One of them was terrible and gave us very bad information about the snow ice festival even though she is local. Not sure if it is to screw with us. Hotel management needs to look into the team."
