Harbin Daoli District Hotels

This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral. There's also a large shopping mall and market right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. They have their own dedicated parking lot, which is a huge plus for those driving. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the rooms are clean, well-equipped, and cozy. All in all, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Excellent! Great location, right on Central Street. The service was fantastic, and the hotel environment and design are beautiful. We arrived early, and they let us check in ahead of time. They offer afternoon tea and breakfast, both of which were great. They even gave us a souvenir when we left! If I get the chance to visit Harbin again, I'll definitely stay here! ✌

I chose this hotel after reading many reviews that mentioned views of St. Sophia Cathedral from the room windows. However, I was a bit disappointed as the view from the window was actually the Daoli wet market around the corner. Overall, the room itself was very ordinary. Since the hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, there was no baggage assistance. The ground floor was deserted, and there were only stairs, no ramp or elevator to bring luggage up. It was quite tiring for us – an elderly person, a child, and a woman – to carry two large suitcases up. The high score is solely because the breakfast was genuinely good. Besides Chinese and Western options, all the typical Northeast specialties were available, and they even varied the dishes over the two days, so the main specialties weren't repeated. I stayed in Harbin for four days, but only two of those were at this hotel; I then moved to a hotel with better service.

The entire experience was exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend it! The hotel is right next to Central Street, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. But what really stood out was the staff's genuine attentiveness. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us warmly and handled check-in efficiently and patiently. Knowing we were out-of-town visitors, they proactively offered detailed advice on local attractions and dining recommendations, even providing helpful tips for getting around. Their attitude was gentle and sincere, completely devoid of any commercialized pretense. Throughout our stay, every service detail made us feel incredibly welcome. Housekeeping was prompt; whether we needed extra amenities or just had a simple question, staff responded and took care of it immediately. The cleaning staff were thorough and responsible, changing linens promptly and maintaining excellent hygiene. They were patient and accommodating with any requests, making our stay both secure and comfortable. The hotel's thoughtful, guest-centric services were a huge bonus. With our heavy luggage, staff readily offered to help carry it. After check-out, we could store our bags for free, which was perfect for continuing our exploration. The lobby also provided complimentary water and snacks, a welcome respite when we needed a break. There was no aggressive upselling at any point; the service was discreet yet attentive, never intrusive, but always there when needed. From the front desk and housekeeping to the support staff, everyone demonstrated high professionalism, handling tasks expertly and interacting genuinely, always prioritizing guests' needs. The rooms were clean and tidy, the environment quiet and comfortable, and combined with the perfect warm service, the value for money far exceeded expectations. For anyone visiting Harbin, choosing Qiuguo on Central Street is an excellent decision. Its prime location, comfortable environment, and meticulous, considerate service make for an exceptionally pleasant journey. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Harbin and sincerely recommend it to all my friends coming to the city!

Before I set off to Harbin, I made a lot of hotel guides. Because I took my parents out to travel, I finally chose this all-season. I thought it was newly opened and very close to Central Street! From the day of check-in, I felt that the staff were super good, very patient, everyone was very kind, especially praise! Arranged the room for us according to our needs, and also helped us upgrade the room. The internal facilities are also great, very clean, large space, and you can see the exterior! If you come to Harbin next time, you don't need to look at other hotels, you definitely prefer this whole season! Bring your parents out, parents like this hotel very much!

It gets a bit noisy in the mornings and evenings next to the restaurant, as the clanging of plates is quite piercing. **Environment:** It's very close to the subway station, and Central Street is right outside, which is super convenient. **Facilities:** It's a bit annoying that the lights can only be adjusted to a few modes instead of individual on/off control. Everything else is fine though, and the TV works well with channels and shows, which is good for older guests. **Self-service Late-night Diner:** This was really good! After a heavy Russian meal, coming back and having some fruit here felt very refreshing. Breakfast, however, was pretty standard.

Great location, very close to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and even gave us a complimentary breakfast. It was very quiet at night, so we slept wonderfully. The only downside is that there's no private parking; you have to park at a nearby mall. Parking in Harbin is generally quite expensive, at 6 yuan an hour.
