Hotels in Chinese-Baroque Daowai Areas, Harbin

We arrived at the hotel around 6 PM, so the photos might look a bit dark. Actually, the room was very spacious and bright, and the bathroom was huge and clean, complete with a large bathtub. I didn't get to use it though, as I didn't bring a bath liner. The hotel's location is excellent, right on Baroque Street. It was lovely to explore during the day and then come back in the evening to stroll and dine along Baroque Street. The elevator was convenient, making for a very comfortable stay. Getting a taxi was also incredibly easy.

Because it is a new hotel opened in 2025, the overall hygiene and facilities are pretty good, but when it comes to specific details, too many problems are exposed. For example, when the housekeeping staff called the lobby, no one answered, so they had to go downstairs to the front desk to ask anything they wanted to ask. Also, could the laundry room put a mark on the elevator buttons? Moreover, shouldn't you check the indicator light at the door of the guest room when cleaning the room? I pressed the light for immediate cleaning early in the morning, but when I came back in the afternoon, I had to wait for the lady to clean it immediately. Because it was an immediate cleaning, I observed the entire cleaning process on the spot. During the cleaning process, the housekeeping lady directly packed up the garbage bag, and without taking any hygienic operations, she put the new bath towels and towels under the sink with gloves on after she had just cleaned up the garbage. This means that garbage has the same status as towels and bath towels. I hope that the service standards can be improved in the future!

Five stars, highly recommended! The hotel's location is impeccable, right in the heart of the Chinese Baroque walking street. Step out and you're surrounded by a complex of retro buildings. It's super convenient for taxis, and the subway is within walking distance. All sorts of local time-honored eateries are covered, so you don't have to go out of your way for food and sightseeing. The price is budget-friendly, offering excellent value for money. The front desk staff are friendly and approachable, and communication is flexible and easy. The rooms are spacious and clean, well-ventilated with no strange odors. Each floor's hallway has a unique and creative design. The backyard has a small garden, and the lobby bookshelves are perfect for impromptu photos. The hotel also has a laundry room and parking spaces, making it a complete package. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, ensuring a peaceful sleep. It's suitable for both short trips and family travel. This stay far exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely choose this place again when I come back to Laodaowai.

The facilities are excellent and the B&B's style is absolutely gorgeous, far exceeding my expectations! The hygiene is top-notch; an auntie cleans every day, making it a truly comfortable and clean stay. The environment is also fantastic, with a neat and pleasant little courtyard belonging to the hotel. The service attitude is superb – they answer all your questions and are thoughtful and warm! Located in a residential area, getting around is super convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Chinese Baroque area, and there's a subway station nearby, so transportation gets full marks!

We had a very pleasant stay at this home in Harbin, China. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for our family.The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, assisting us with many things from before our arrival until after our departure. On our last day, after check-out, the owner kindly helped us store our luggage, allowing us to explore Harbin freely before our evening flight.Overall, it was a very convenient and enjoyable stay, and we highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Harbin, especially for families.

The young staff at the Songyue Hotel's front desk were all wonderful, such lovely young boys and girls. They were warm and friendly, and knowing we had a child, they even upgraded our room for free. The room had wall-to-wall carpeting, was clean, tidy, and odorless. It was quiet and cozy. The price was budget-friendly, but the service and environment were top-notch. They even offered thoughtful WeChat guidance service, which was excellent, so we extended our stay for another night. It's definitely one of the recommended good hotels.

The hotel's facilities and ambiance are great, and the decor is quite thoughtful. The complimentary local specialties like Daqing milk powder, black honey, birch sap, and natural soda water are a nice touch, and the quality of the Jin Jun Mei tea exceeded my expectations. Plus, there are tons of great restaurants nearby – just a short walk downstairs and you can enjoy authentic local cuisine.

The amenities were also comprehensive: the air conditioning, water heater, and washing machine all worked perfectly. They also generously provided disposables like toiletries, slippers, and bottled water. The attention to detail was exceptional, making my stay feel as comfortable and relaxed as being at home.
