I am so thankful I chose this hotel, I stayed 4 nights in February 2024 and wish I could stay longer! Very nice property (very close to the center), very royal services, super friendly and professional staff.
I am blown away by how beautiful the place is! The staff were very friendly and kind, everything everywhere was very clean and the hotel's attention to detail is truly outstanding!
High ceiling, spacious, nice look, high quality toiletries, comfortable bed.
Great breakfast (we loved the high quality Turkish breakfast).
I thank you.
The hotel was clean and very big however there was no internet and the staffs was amazing except 1 old guy who was trying to convince us he was giving the best advice when he was trying to take an advantage but when we say no to his advice he gets very upset but other than that everything was amazing.

room is quiet clean
but the service is not good as no one takes the luggage for us
and the breakfast is standard ones
I don’t know it’s extra charge for the coffee as the waiter in canteen can’t speak in English.

The best hostel I would recommend to all solo travellers. Elevator to every floor. 700m or so walkable diatance to Taksim Sq and Metro. Bus stand around the corner.
The only downside is there are no microwave. They have water dispensor fridge. You can do laundry for a charge.
Reception guy Taha was new when my access card to the room was faulty, he tried his best to help solve it. He even showed me how to get to the bus terminal on my checked out. Even draw mini map! Lol.
Recommended!
Was great, spacious, and clean. They even let food delivery people come inside, which was so convenient. They even accommodated my luggage after check out.
However the Internet connection was very very poor and I had to use my mobile data the whole time I was there. Additionally, the elevator stopped at the 4th floor so I had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs to the 5th floor
The hotel has a nice decor, it's very spacious and clean. Man at reception desk was very attentive and explained everything very well and fluent English. Rooms are of good size, confortable beds and good flow of hot water in the bathroom. Cumplimentary water everyday and clean towels. Breakfast is good for the price of hotel.
It's quiter area and hotel than the 3 others I've stayed previously. I'ld recommend!

Very good rooms with private toilet, bed were comfortable and room heated, everything clean, only no space for bagpack but it is what it is.
Breakfast ok, basic things to start the day.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, location is ok but being in the heart of touristic place, everything is overpriced

The hotel location is a short walk from Taksim Sq. The hotel itself was easy to find within a short walk to local restaurants. I was put in a basement room which was quite small but good enough for me. The room did have AC but the heating function didn't seem to work and it does get cold at night in Istanbul. The reception is actually across the road in Row Suites. Staff Mr Muhammed was very kind and courteous. I would stay again but request a higher room. Also, they could do with better curtains in the room as the street light shines through to the basement room. (Room 2)

GGuest UserGive someone a rose to leave a lingering fragrance in your hand, experience it yourself, life is so difficult, please be kind
Environment: second rate
Hygiene: first class
Facilities: second-rate
Service: second rate
There are bedbugs on the first floor, the second floor is better, there is a Turk at the front desk, and an Iranian
GGuest UserTaksim Green House Istanbul is truly a gem in the heart of this vibrant city. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its charm and hospitality. The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw away from Taksim Square and all the bustling activity of Istanbul.
The staff at Taksim Green House are exceptional. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and memorable. Their warm welcome and willingness to assist with any request left a lasting impression on me.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional Turkish flair. I was fortunate enough to have a room with a view of the Bosphorus, and it was nothing short of breathtaking.
One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. The spread was diverse, with a wide range of Turkish and international options. It was the perfect way to start my day of exploring Istanbul.
Taksim Green House also offers easy access to Istanbul's top attractions, including the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. After a day of sightseeing, returning to the comfort of this boutique hotel was a true pleasure.
In summary, Taksim Green House Istanbul exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a welcoming oasis in the heart of a bustling city, offering exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return and make more memories in this wonderful establishment.
GGuest UserGreat budget hotel near Istiklal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Friendly hosts, always ready to help. There is free coffee and tea plus a kitchen where you can cook and cook utensils. I stayed here not the first time and will come again. For the price, this is the best option in the area. Wi-Fi works fast - you can work safely. The bathroom only has soap. From the minuses to someone, sometimes they sit on the street near the guest house like ***************, but they don't bother anyone.
OOn cloud 9I enjoyed my stay. The staff are friendly. Room are clean. They also gave free breakfast and dinner on Friday night. And also night activities like pub crawl if you sign up for it. They have a space to put luggage before check in and after check out. Good wifi connection and good water temp and pressure. They also have umbrella for guests to borrow. They serve welcome drink.
The terrace in my room are facing other buildings will a little view since the room is on the first floor. They don’t have elevator and the only hair dryer are on the 3rd floor in the shared sink room.
The only things I’m not happy about is when i first came to check in, the first lady receptionist told me that my room is ready and i can check in after my welcome drink (i came at noon and wasn’t expecting to check in early), so i wait. But after i finished my drink, i asked the second lady receptionist if i can check in, she said to come back after 2pm. So i left my luggage and explored the city. I don’t mind to check in according to the check in time, but don’t make people wait. They gave two different answers. The room also not soundproof, i can hear people talking loudly around 2/3am next room.
Overall their service are good.
AAnonymous UserWe enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room that we got was clean, comfortable and spacious for two person. Bathroom was clean though can be improved, hot and cold shower was working well with excellent water pressure.
They provided daily housekeeping which we really appreciate and and they also have lift to make life easier. Iron was also provided upon request.
Location is great, close to eateries, coffee shop, laundry and take 15-20 minutes walking to Blue Mosque (and will need you to go through the Arasta Bazar which is good if you feel like shopping or just window-shopping!) But beware the hotel is located at hilly street so you might want to consider if you're bringing big luggages and you're taking the public transport. Nearest tramvay station is Beyazit, which is around 10-15 minutes walk and you'll pass by shops, eateries, and lines of shoe-selling/manufacturing shops (I find this particularly interesting). Just to add, one of the Grand Bazar entrance is also close to Beyazit tramvay.
To Lika Hotel, keep up the excellent service, hope to stay here again next time!
Also will be good if you could provide free tea bags/bottled water in the room, if it's not too much to ask 😁
GGuest UserPros:
Great location. 65 steps from the entrance to Gülhane Park. The main attractions of the old city are within walking distance. The metro is also nearby (5-7 minutes), the tram stop is 100 meters away. The color of a noisy eastern street. The charming ringing of tram bells)
The staff is polite.
The air conditioning is modern and almost silent.
Daily cleaning. New towels and all that.
Cons:
The toilet valve is faulty and the water constantly flows and makes noise. Upon check-in, the lights went out for a few minutes in the hotel. We walked up to the 4th floor.
Passing trams make the whole building vibrate. The elevator is only for one person, and the stairs are very steep.
It is worth taking rooms only with Street view.
The breakfasts are good, but the coffee is only instant.
I had dinner in different street cafes. The best was the small restaurant opposite - Neda. I didn't like the others.
I stayed with my family for 3 nights to see the old city.
I recommend visiting, only because of the location. The price is determined only by this.
Then I moved to Hilton. For the same money. But real five stars.
GGuest UserThey email us the incorrect address and phone number. We have to wait outside the incorrect hotel for twenty minutes. They do not answer our phone. However, once we have a reception desk, find a good man to assist us as much as possible. We reserved one double bed, but he gave us three. Thank you for him.
