Its worth staying here. Lovely reception staff. however, only half of the staff can understand and speak english and only half of them were smiling/welcoming which my partner was quite upset with. Please make sure you do you research of the locatiom, money convertion and know the scams when they are coming. My partner was said a pringles can is 950 egp!! When I went to check, I was told 300 🌚 Outsite the hotel, there is proper scamming going on, once they know you are not local. We only went for pyramids and stuff due to my craze about it. So didnt mind going there once in our life time. They have a revolvng restaurant too at the top!

True to its reputation as a top-tier hotel, both the service and cleanliness were exceptional. It's perfectly situated and incredibly convenient for a layover at Cairo International Airport. A direct skybridge connects the hotel to Terminal 3, making it just a 5-minute walk.

Lovely hotel in a prime location on the Nile. Our room had a lovely view of the Nile and the pool area. The room was modern and had all the amenities you would need including some luxury Byredo toiletries which were a nice touch. Though it’s a newly renovated hotel, the downside was that our non-smoking room had an unusual smell in it and also upon check in, the entire carpet was wet. The breakfast buffet was good although some items were a bit stale by 8am (pancakes in particular) which could’ve been better if fresh. There was no room service options from your room so we tried the restaurants but wouldn’t really recommend. We tried Kamala which is a pan-Asian fusion and though we were the only guests dining, the food took over an hour to make and wasn’t the best. The Solano restaurant again was okay, much fresher than Kamala. Would recommend the hotel for its location however the reception can get really busy and the staff could do with being more attentive to the guests they’re serving rather than those impatiently interrupting.

The service is very good, very good, the facilities are excellent, the environment is a bit ~ mainly because there are not many outdoor environments ~ the breakfast is still good in Egypt

The military runs this hotel. It is alcohol-free. People were smoking everywhere, which may or may not bother others. The breakfast and dining services were good. The room was clean but a little dated. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff was helpful and always willing to answer questions and offer assistance. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours a day. I was disconnected/hung up on 3 times when trying to confirm that someone would be able to check us in when I arrived after midnight. I was told it would be fine but we had to wait for someone to check us in. The pool was great and we have no complaints. We had arranged a driver to take us on our tours so I am not sure if the location is good or not. Great hotel and would recommend it.

Nice Location is great near the nile The hotel is luxurious The only negative thing we faced is thatbwe left a gift to one of our friends at the reception to be picked up the day after, when he came to pick it up they told him nothing was their.

When I checked in initially everything was lovely. They charged me $80 for an extra person in the room. The view was lovely and I was upgraded as a Marriot gold Member. The next day was not so lovely. I told them I would like to extend and was told I had to do that through Booking. What? Ok. So I rebooked with Booking and I guess they didn’t get the information. I showed them the reservation and that I paid. They called me incessantly and were rude as hell even though they had my Amex on file. It was ridiculous so I checked out and went to Le Meridian. So much better. Stay there. It is even connected to the airport. They have several restaurants and the staff is amazing. The view was lovely at the Ritz though.

As soon as we checked in our suitcases, the chip relay race started. It felt like every 10 steps, so if you're not used to chips, you won't be able to keep up. The room was, so to speak, a princess room for giants. You can feel like a little kid. I felt that this hotel was more for rich and tall people than for people who want to feel rich. I was looking forward to a hair dryer, but I was a little sad to see that I was mummified. The walls are thin. Security is perfect. The strawberry juice we received as a welcome drink was unbelievably delicious. To begin with, the strawberries in Egypt are big and delicious.
