The room is large, clean and tidy, with complete facilities, sofa, table, refrigerator, microwave, freshly ground coffee machine, humanized design style, nutritious breakfast, and more fruits.
The room was great other than the refrigerator was missing. The lady checking me in didn't want to take the time to explain the new parking pay system. Downloading/scanning and paying for parking on your phone. She just said ”do it, it self explanatory”. Well I did it and the next day, it didn't work, couldn't get out of the parking lot... Total mess! This happened several times with the new parking lot... Total inconvenience, scanners never work, they argure you haven't paid when you have proof on your phone that you have! Probably will never stay here again. An additional $18 a night for parking is ridiculous! It doesn't add to safety or security. I've been staying here for years, this is just absurd!!!
Overall, the staff was friendly, clean, and not bad.
It was convenient because there was a shuttle to the airport. (Free, tip option)
However, there was no luggage storage service, and
the connecting room was noisy.
Everything okay but the breakfast same thing for both days and no juice for breakfast and the reception guy was very rude he throw the pen at me and was yell this happens on Friday night doing check in time ..and the other thing no pool but besides that everything els okay I will book again if I ever go back to Dallas Tx
The hotel is very good. Very new. Very clean. Very comfortable. There is a parking lot. Breakfast costs money to buy. Toiletries are also very good, all branded. However, shopping around is a bit inconvenient.
Enjoyed the short stay here, services received was excellent. I loved that it was conveniently located near the airport and there was shuttle to transport to and from hotel, which made it extra convenient and they were on time, once reservations were made. We were pleasantly impressed.

I enjoyed staying here, our room was clean, bed was clean and super comfortable. Location worked pretty good for us. We didn’t get the chance to get in the pool but it was opened and good size pool. My puppies enjoyed it also, very friendly personnel.

GGuest UserThe room was large and comfortable, and the front desk staff was warm and kind and at home. So I transferred a few hotels and chose this one again and will come again in the future.
HH KBreraThis the worst ripoff I ever had, the pictures are deceiving no such thing like a resort and or Hotel, this is more likely a 5th level motel so deceiving so highly priced for the real rooms quality. The phone line was death, I had to walk in to the lobby for service , I will rate this place - 1000 if it was possible , location is great but no quality parking control anybody can drive in and use a suppose to be a private beach for the guests, at check
Put time I asked for some kind of reference # and or statement and I was told to ask trip.com for my check out time and or check out statement after this lack
Of honesty ripoff I was highly concerned to be charge for extra time and or incidentals I never used and when I ask for some kind of evidence and or printout statement they call security to kick me out and if they didn’t was because Inturned my phone camera on
GGuest UserEveryone was super friendly, our room was clean and “the best room ever” according to our kids. We were super happy with our stay and we will definitely return!
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at a youth hostel that truly stood out for its exceptional qualities. Nestled in a residential area, its location was incredibly convenient, offering a tranquil retreat just a bike ride away from the city center—less than 10 minutes to be exact. This made for peaceful nights, ensuring a restful sleep in a safe environment.
The hostel is run by a delightful couple whose hospitality knew no bounds. They were not only eager to assist with any issues that arose but also went above and beyond by providing bicycles. This thoughtful touch significantly enhanced my mobility around Houston, allowing me to reach various destinations swiftly.
What set this hostel apart was the attention to detail and the array of complimentary amenities, including cookies, milk, cereal, coffee, and tea. The cleanliness and smart technology throughout the house contributed to a seamless stay, making it the best hostel experience I've ever had. The bathroom towels folded into swan shapes were a testament to the owners' dedication to detail, adding a touch of elegance and care.
The warmth of the place was akin to being at home, with the owners always ready for a chat, eager to answer questions, and share their stories and experiences. A highlight for me was the world map on the living room wall, where guests could pin their home countries—a fun and interactive way to connect with fellow travelers.
In summary, this hostel was more than just a place to stay; it felt like a home, or perhaps more accurately, a homestay. It's undoubtedly the best hostel I've ever stayed in globally, blending the comfort of a home with the adventurous spirit of a hostel.
GGuest UserI had a lovely experience. The hotel appeared to have been recently updated and had a relaxing and modern atmosphere. The staff at reception were so friendly and really went the extra mile in helping me with a few queries I had. The direct access to the beach was appreciated and it was nice to have a pool as well. My room felt very luxurious and was decorated nicely. There are shops nearby and the area is convenient. A great stay and I’m glad I chose it!
GGuest UserWe had many issues. The elevators worked sporadically. When climbing the 3 flights of stairs we still could not get in. The doors were locked and we had to bang on the door for someone to open the door from the inside. We only had one roll of toilet paper for 3 nights. No extra roll in the room for us. Service at bars was not great. Employees seemed overworked and not happy to be there.
EExpatCambria is a newer hotel amidst the redevelopment projects taking place near Rainey Street, a historic landmark of homes turned into entertainment venues. Cambria is opposite side of the spectrum with innovative decor and relaxation. Note that parking costs 49USD per day with valet access only. We chose not to rent a car based on our needs in Austin. Came to visit my son and his family with my eldest son, so we wanted to have some options near nightlife activities. Local drivers shared info on the changes made to the nearby historic street, and staff was friendly with all needs. The water statiins were a plus. Where I think Cambria can improve is in the price of the rooms, menu items and operation hours of their lobby bar/roof bar since staff was short during our stay. Walking to the entertainment street required the back alley short trek, and that aspect took away from the lush atmosphere of the hotel. Grafitti and Limestone hotel venues can easily adjust their marketung strategies towards in-house entertainment along with the Valet arrangement to flow more smoothly and affordably. It’s a lovely hotel which can become full circle staycation with a few adjustments regarding that aspect. New business developments working alongside grass roots businesses is key to smooth changes for both visitors and long-time locals. The pool atmosphere is great, the gym is clean, and the first floor waiting area an easy meeting spot.
ZZD & LDThis is a great hotel situated in a convenient location with several options for dinner and activities. We were happy with the layout and overall quality of the hotel. The in room kitchen amenities were awesome so we could stay in and relax. Our only draw back about the experience was sleeping. Large king size bed so no complaints on room however very uncomfortable. The linens were sparse and feather pillows not as comfortable as I would have imagined considering the caliber of the other amenities.
If you don't require the fluff and comfort in the bedding amenities you are solid with this hotel choice. I give this hotel a solid 4.5 for convenience and comfort for business but if you want to have the luxury of a vacation and soft pillows to bat considering a higher price point.
Overall this hotel, staff and amenities are top notch for a simple staycation. I might also mention no fault by any of the hotel staff or affiliations they seem to be dealing with car break ins. There was a small incident that was handled very professionally by staff I noticed check out day. Parking is ample and close this was surely just a matter of coincidence and staff was on top of ensuring guest and belongings were top priority.
Thanks Hilton, great stay. Suggestion...no more feather pillows 😁
