"It was a little difficult to find the hotel at first, so I had to ask around for directions. The hotel is located in a shared building with office tenants (search for: Changjiang Securities as per in the first pic), so during peak hours, expect some waiting time for the lifts. The room was exceptionally clean and spotless, and the view was absolutely stunning, overlooking Kulangsu Island. Although the reception staff did not speak English, they were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help with my laundry. I simply dropped it off and collected it the next morning. Thank you for the excellent service and for going the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

Told him that I’ll just explore the food near the hotel he told me the restaurants are closed in the morning and only alive at night. The next morning, I walked out at 7am and so many restaurants were open."

"The hotel lobby offers coffee, and since it was June 1st (Children's Day), they gave out toy cars to the kids, which was a nice touch. The room was comfortable, and we stayed for several days. The restaurant on the top floor is a revolving one, which is very unique and offers great views. The breakfast selection was quite rich, but you need to go early for more choices."

"Great location, just a two-minute walk to Zhenhai Road subway station. We booked a triple family room, and the front desk upgraded us to a quad room with two 1.8-meter beds, which was fantastic! We could even see Gulangyu Island from our room. The breakfast selection was also quite varied. Other than the slightly outdated facilities and environment, everything else was pretty good. It's a hotel with excellent value for money."

I was quite surprised to find a room at this price in such a great location. No wonder it's so popular! I'm very satisfied, thank you."

"This place deserves a 10/5 based on service alone - absolutely friendly front desk who often went the extra mile. To ensure I could book the ferry tickets to Gulangyu, they offered different local Hp numbers for me to try which is needed when booking tickets via Alipay. When my delivery didn't arrive in time, they helped to call and chase. No complaints, just very friendly help. They didn't hardsell anything either. The rooms are big, comfortable, decently soundproofed for the price, and they accommodated our request for regular instead of disposable towels. Location is not at the doorstep of a metro, but we took didi mostly. The hotel is located on the 20th Floor of the same building as Mercure hotel and shares the same pick up point. Overall, a wonderful stay, would return!"

"Having stayed at many boutique hotels, I was truly touched by Swallow's Nest. The butler service here is genuinely attentive and warm – they even deliver breakfast right to your room, and the food is always served hot. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the design is stunning. Plus, with Gulangyu Island directly across, the view is absolutely incredible. If a city with a sea is romantic, then Swallow's Nest is your harbor of romance! Zhongshan Road is just downstairs, and First Wharf is a convenient 1.4 kilometers away, making the location very accessible. It's quiet at night, and even on the higher floors, it's not noisy. Being a newly opened hotel, there's a slight 'new renovation' scent, but it's acceptable. Overall, a superb stay!"

The hotel is located in front of the sea so from the hotel, we had an amazing view of the sea. Therefore, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable and peaceful stay. Overall the accommodation was clean and really good and the receptionist was really nice and will recommend to visitors nice restaurants but the only thing that I would complain was the marks on the wall (see photo) and also the last day of my stay the USB charge did not work anymore. Also you'll need to plan a DIDI budget because the hotel is far away to everything, but I knew it before even coming to Xiamen so I expected it. But other than that I had a great stay!"
