The location is fantastic, right next to Zhongshan Road, and from our room, we had a direct view of Gulangyu Island. Enjoying the scenery from the balcony in the morning and evening was incredibly relaxing. The service was thoughtful, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. The bedding was also very comfortable. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay; apart from sightseeing, we spent a lot of time just lounging around the hotel. As night fell, Gulangyu Island's 'blue hour' was absolutely beautiful."

The check-in process was efficient, and they even thoughtfully asked about my travel needs, offering many practical recommendations. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. For someone tired from a business trip, a good night's sleep is truly essential. The attention to detail was also excellent, with a complete set of toiletries, and the room's lighting and workspace were very well-designed, making it perfect for business travelers. Breakfast also deserves a shout-out; the variety was rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and items were replenished promptly. I left feeling very satisfied. In summary, whether for a business trip or a personal getaway, this hotel is an excellent choice. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen! Highly recommended!"

"I wanted to find a hotel where my kids could play in the sand, swim, and have a ball pit. AI recommended this place, and after booking, the staff kindly upgraded us to a sea-view room for free. My friend and I brought our two kids, and right from the moment we arrived, staff were there to open car doors and help with our luggage. They even carried our bags inside, which almost made me feel a bit embarrassed! And every time we came and went by car, someone was always there to open doors and help with luggage – truly made us feel at home. Accommodation-wise, it was top-notch. The beach was right downstairs, and the kids loved watching the waves while they ate. Since we had two little ones, we often called for inquiries, extra slippers, or towels, and the service was always excellent and super prompt. I was impressed that the kids' play area even had a children's restroom – such great attention to detail! The pool also provided towels and had two small heated pools. You could just let the kids play there while you enjoyed the main pool, without worrying about them getting cold or even drowning. My friend and I are big fans of tea restaurants, so we bought a group deal for the buffet at Yangyang Restaurant. The variety and taste truly surpassed anything we've had in Suzhou. Our kids ate until they were stuffed but still didn't want to leave. Even though the weather wasn't great during our stay, it didn't stop the kids from going downstairs to dig in the sand. The beach was fun and safe. Finally, a big thank you to AI for recommending such a fantastic hotel. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!"

"Make sure to check your deposit refund yourself!!!! The overall experience during my stay was very good. The hotel facilities and breakfast were top-notch for a 'light luxury' hotel in Xiamen. However, after checking out, I never received the deposit refund. Each time I contacted the hotel (three times within a week), they insisted it had already been refunded and told me to check my bank statement. After repeatedly checking and confirming that I had not received the refund, I called the hotel again to question them. This time, the reply was that it had been refunded that very morning. I found it hard to believe that after more than a week since check-out, the refund happened to be processed on the day I called. I repeatedly asked the hotel to provide proof of refund. Within three minutes of hanging up, I received the refund SMS. After this experience, I'm glad I kept reconfirming the deposit refund. Otherwise, it would have been easy to be misled by the hotel's repeated assurances. I can't be sure if the hotel habitually withholds deposits or if the staff just tend to say whatever to get you off the phone."
