"Huge thanks to the hotel front desk for upgrading our room! We ended up in the much quieter waterside area, which made accessing the pools super convenient. Our room was on the ground floor, and we could just step out onto our balcony and into the pool – it was amazing. The main garden pool was livelier, especially in the afternoon with bubble blowing activities that the kids absolutely loved. We could walk from the garden pool straight to the beach in about 5 minutes. We absolutely adored the hotel's pony train ride; the staff member driving it would always give us an extra long tour. My child loved the fast downhill sections, and the driver even went out of his way to do a couple of extra loops for more downhill fun. Across from the hotel is a Snow Peak store. Xiamen's 18 Steps restaurant is only a 10-minute walk away, offering fresh food at reasonable prices. The kids had a fantastic time! A big thank you also to the hotel butler for their thoughtful assistance."
