"The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Zhonghua City Food Street with plenty of dining options! Transportation is also very convenient, with bus and subway stations less than a ten-minute walk away.
The hotel staff are all very nice. They gave me a free upgrade to a more comfortable room during check-in, and the robot delivered food orders directly to my door.
The only minor hiccup was when the cleaning aunt mistakenly threw away my ginger duck. The hotel immediately apologized and responsibly replaced it for me.
I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xiamen!"

"Found a gem for our family trip to Xiamen! The Weishang Garden Hotel's family room is simply divine.
It's in a prime location on Zhongshan Road, with a charming Nanyang retro vibe. Stepping out, you're surrounded by street food and shopping districts. It's super close to the ferry terminal and the Bashi market, saving us a lot of travel time.
The room is incredibly spacious, bursting with a playful, child-friendly atmosphere. My kids instantly fell in love with the bunk bed with a slide, and the safety rails gave us parents peace of mind. There were dolls, building blocks, and a small tent – enough to keep the little ones entertained for half the day, meaning we didn't have to keep an eye on them constantly.
The room also features a private little balcony, and the faint scent of tea in the corridor made us feel instantly relaxed upon entering. The entire room is equipped with smart devices, and the toiletries were clean and high-quality. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the floor is covered with soft mats, so we didn't have to worry about the kids bumping themselves while running barefoot.
Robot delivery is available 24/7, and the concierge was incredibly responsive to our requests. The bedding was soft, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. It's spacious and comfortable enough for a family of three or even families with two children. Our kids were already asking to come back next time we left. "It's been 20 years since I last visited Xiamen, and now I'm back again. This time, I chose this hotel, and I'm really glad I did. The location is super convenient – it's a 10-minute walk to the metro station, there's a bus stop right outside, and taxis are always available. The environment is lovely, it's close to the beach, and Gulangyu Island is directly opposite. Getting to the ferry terminal is quick and easy too. It's also a great spot for sightseeing, with the famous No. 1 Zhongshan Road nearby and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street just a stone's throw away.
To sum it up, I'll definitely be back to Xiamen in the future, and when I do, I'll be staying here again.

"I stayed for two nights and have already checked out, so I'm writing my review now. While the facilities aren't perfect, they are certainly adequate. The cleanliness, however, is truly commendable. They pay great attention to detail – the room smelled lovely, and the air conditioning was already on when I arrived. The sheets and duvet covers were visibly spotless, with no stains or anything uncomfortable. I have sensitive skin, but I had no issues sleeping there for two nights.
Secondly, the service was genuinely attentive. I've traveled many times, and the front desk staff at this guesthouse were particularly enthusiastic. They were very knowledgeable about the local dining, entertainment, and attractions, and I always received satisfactory answers to my questions. What's more, the guesthouse provides a washing machine and dryer, along with complimentary laundry detergent. In the summer heat, being able to wash and dry clothes right after coming back is incredibly convenient; otherwise, clothes would start to smell.
As for soundproofing, it wasn't as bad as I expected. I slept very well both nights, with no noise in the middle of the night. The fact that the air conditioning was already on when we checked in was a huge bonus, especially in summer. Just for that pre-cooled room, I think they deserve a good review. The value for money is also excellent; I compared many places before booking this one.
Getting around is also easy. It's on a main road, and the view from the entrance is quite nice, with Gulangyu Island directly opposite. It's not far from Zhongshan Road, just two bus stops away, and the botanical garden is about a kilometer away – a 9 yuan taxi ride for me. Overall, I think it's excellent and highly recommend it to anyone visiting."

Our stay at the Wyndham Xiamen was truly amazing, with the unparalleled, front-row sea view being the absolute highlight. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offered an unobstructed, endless vista of the azure sea, with the majestic Xiang'an Bridge stretching calmly across the water – the view was clear and expansive. Waiting for the sunrise over the sea in the morning and encountering the orange sunset in the evening, both dawn and dusk provided incredibly therapeutic scenery with a fantastic ambiance; every photo taken looked like a professional seascape shot.
The complimentary breakfast was truly impressive, with a rich and diverse selection. Authentic Fujianese snacks like Shacha noodles and vermicelli paste were flavorful and delicious, while Western hot dishes, exquisite desserts, and seasonal fresh fruits were all available, catering to a variety of tastes.
The service was gentle, attentive, and highly efficient. Any questions or requests before and during our stay were promptly and properly addressed, with staff being humble and polite. The meticulous service significantly enhanced our sense of happiness during the stay.
The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin. The hotel as a whole was quiet and elegant, making for an exceptionally relaxing and comfortable vacation. With its superb sea views and thoughtful, spot-on service, this will definitely be our top choice for our next visit to Xiamen!

Guest UserWe were already very satisfied with our online booking for a triple family city-view room, which included both breakfast and supper. What made us even happier was that upon check-in, the hotel informed us that for a small extra charge, we could upgrade to a family sea-view room, which was larger than our original booking. The view from the sea-view room was a special surprise that truly excited the children. It's hard to describe or capture in photos, so I highly recommend experiencing it yourself – it's definitely worth it.
The hotel's location is excellent. There's a bus stop and a subway station right outside, and getting a taxi is also very convenient. It's close to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, which is lively and just a short walk away. The service at the hotel was very attentive; they even provided a clothes drying rack. The breakfast and supper were part of the package and complimentary, featuring local specialty snacks, making them very rich and thoughtful. We were very pleased with our stay this time. Finally, I took a picture of the lobby and the night view from our room window. Thumbs up!
One choice of either a triple self-service afternoon tea or a self-service supper: superb and very thoughtful.

Guest UserThe front desk service was good, and we even received welcome drinks. The kids absolutely loved the outdoor swimming pool. The sports center on the basement level had a lot of activities; my children had a blast playing billiards. Adults can also play basketball. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the beach, perfect for watching the sunset. It's a really great family-friendly hotel.

Kids loved the family suite so much, they didn't want to leave! ❤️
We brought our child to Xiamen this time, and the hotel upgraded us to a Sun and Moon Valley family suite. The overall experience was even better than expected, perfect for a family vacation.
The room was very spacious. As soon as we entered, my child started exploring everywhere. The room was filled with animal-themed furniture and decorations – deer, ponies, a giraffe lamp, and many adorable plush toys. It was truly whimsical! Even my usually picky daughter had a blast, spending half the day just taking photos in the room.
The bed was huge, easily accommodating four people without feeling cramped. The overall decor had a Southeast Asian resort vibe. Although the hotel has been open for a while, it's well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, without that dated feel you sometimes get with older hotels.
The hotel itself has plenty of facilities for kids: billiards, table tennis, a swimming pool, and a children's activity area, all of which helped us pass the time. Our family also played a super-sized foosball game, which was a lot of fun. The hot spring area is right across the street, with a shuttle service running back and forth, making it incredibly convenient. After a relaxing soak, coming back to rest was a breeze.
The breakfast selection was also quite varied, with both Chinese and Western options, generally satisfying the tastes of our entire family. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially towards families with children.

Guest UserThis hotel is absolutely wonderful and cozy! We stayed for two nights with the kids. It's super close to Dongdu Wharf, making trips to Gulangyu Island a breeze. They have an outdoor swimming pool on the 3rd floor, and we even ordered swimsuits, goggles, and caps – the kids had a blast. Xiamen is really hot, so you sweat just by stepping outside, which made the self-service laundry on the 2nd floor incredibly convenient. If you turn left and walk about 300 meters, you'll find restaurants with some really authentic breakfast options. There's also a subway station right downstairs, but the lines are limited, so we mostly took taxis to the attractions.

Guest UserI stayed at this hotel in Xiamen back in 2017, when it had just opened, and I was really impressed with both the room facilities and the service. For this family trip, I specifically chose to come back here. The location is super convenient, right next to Powerlong One Mall, and most importantly, I honestly couldn't find another place with better value for money for this two-bedroom type (in my opinion)! However, I have to admit the rooms are definitely showing their age. And for some reason, this room type had a strong smell. We switched to another room which was a bit better, but there was still a musty odor. The staff's service attitude was impeccable, though. I guess it's all about the value for money here.

Isn't it more fragrant than this designer homestay...) And there is a smell of wood in the room. I saw the wire fragrance and I was ready to order it. I found that the match was not changed. The place where the fire was rubbed and the fire was almost gone, and it couldn't be burned at all. Originally, there was an elevator to go down to the beach on the first floor. I don’t know why I took the stairs... Although it is only one floor, it is really hot (the front desk may be open because there is no air conditioning after all). Of course, I hope that there is an elevator to take the elevator, not take the stairs. The cocktail tastes really bad... Come to play with friends. We found a companion to shoot (originally also looked at the promotional video and pictures in the homestay, I felt that it was good to see the film before ordering) and was told that commercial shooting was not allowed unless we purchased the afternoon tea set of 198. At that time, I felt that what overlord clause was there. We are not commercially shooting, we traveled to take photos and send pictures to the circle of friends... The good thing is that the front desk customer service is very warm and responds quickly, asks for breakfast and cocktails in time, the room view and location are OK, but it is more suitable for parent-child travel.

I recently stayed at Asia Gulf Hotel in my trip to Xiamen and overall, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated in a touristy part of the city, close to one of the main beaches. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room 1812 was spacious and illuminated, the only thing to improve is the deck that it is becoming a bit old. breakfast is included, mostly Asian style. The internet connection was good in general.
