"Here’s a polished review in English, natural and hotel-review style: ⸻ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Xi’an and would absolutely recommend it. The location is truly exceptional, set בתוך the historic city walls and just a short walk from the iconic Bell Tower. Right outside the hotel, you’ll find plenty of street food stalls, the vibrant Muslim Quarter, and countless restaurants, making it the perfect base to explore the city. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, especially with guests who don’t speak Chinese. A special mention also goes to the breakfast team, who stood out for their attentiveness and friendliness. The breakfast itself was good, with a decent variety to choose from. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished in a modern style. I especially appreciated the Dyson hairdryer — such a nice touch to have even while traveling. And the mattress deserves a special mention: one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on, truly outstanding. I would definitely stay here again. My only regret is that I only spent two nights, because everything about this hotel was simply lovely."

"I have to vent about this hotel. I stayed at several hotels during this business trip, and this was by far the worst. I don't understand why the online reviews are so high; are they fake or something?! First, let's talk about hygiene. The hotel's cleanliness is so bad it's disrespectful to guests. I had booked for two nights but checked out after just one. Upon entering the room, I saw that the entire floor – and I mean *the entire floor* – had been mopped with a dirty mop, leaving a disgusting film of grime. It was nauseating just to look at. I used a white cloth and wiped just twice, and you can see from the pictures how filthy it was. I called the housekeeping staff, and in front of her, I took another white cloth, wiped the floor twice, showed her, and took photos. The room corners were even dirtier, a long-standing issue from poor cleaning habits that wouldn't be fixed overnight. I even reported it to the front desk and asked them to come up and see the room themselves. A single square meter of floor could dirty several towels – that's how filthy the floor and carpet were. Hotel hygiene should be a top priority for hotel management. But from their hallways to the restaurant I visited the next day, everything was dirty. The floor's dirtiness isn't something you can capture in a photo; it only becomes apparent when you wipe it with a white cloth. The breakfast was also poor. The room might look spacious, but the decor was messy, low-grade, lacked taste, and showed a poor consideration for hotel details. I'm baffled as to why Trip.com rates this as a '5-diamond' hotel?! From the entrance to the elevator, to the room, to the restaurant, this is nothing more than a spacious hostel, maybe a 3-diamond at best. In Xi'an, this hotel is both expensive and terrible! Booking platforms not using national standards for star ratings (five-star, four-star, three-star) to grade hotels is already a problem in itself."

Some eateries/amenity shops around too but need to walk across the road of 300m each way left and right. Hotel has a cafe/bar but limited choice. There is a Chinese restaurant."

The hotel is also conveniently located near popular attractions like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City."

"Lele's service was excellent, and there were basically no issues. The only problem was that the small refrigerator in the room was not working properly and did not provide enough cooling. Another problem was that the night light in sleep mode was too sensitive. It would light up even when I pounded on the quilt, and then it would flicker. 😂"

I discussed with the hotel and hopefully they’ll get this resolved."

Even the lobby, which I forgot to photograph, was beautiful. The owner told me the tea table in the lobby has a long history. The rooms have individual washing machines, and there's a huge selection of snacks and drinks, making it ideal for families. The owner was very attentive, and the decor was unique and the rooms were cozy. From the moment you enter, you can feel the strong historical style, perfectly matching Xi'an's cultural atmosphere. I loved it! 🥳 The amenities were complete, including various disposable items 😇. It was very clean and hygienic; even the cleaning cloths were clearly labeled. The owner was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Just across an underpass is a food street, and the subway station is right outside – super convenient! It's the most satisfying guesthouse I've ever stayed in! 🥰🥰 I would definitely choose it again if I had the chance to come back! 😋"
