The room was also spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was quite good. Anyway, after a day of sightseeing, you can come back and get a good rest. The front desk staff were also very friendly, and check-in was efficient. Staying here while visiting Xi'an is truly stress-free. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"My friends and I booked this hotel to see what Xian has to offer, and to see the Terra Cotta Army! Our flight back home was suddenly canceled due to weather, but extending our stay was super easy! Staff here are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and very welcoming to foreigners! Nina was available 24/7 if we needed anything, which I was very grateful for! The bar makes a stout drink if that's what you're after, and the view of nightlife is beautiful from the rooftop bar! The rooms are clean and very luxurious, there's a nearby pedestrian street with plenty of bars and restaurants to try, and the location is basically in the heart of downtown Xian, just inside the south gate! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Xian!"

"This trip, I was driving with my 70-year-old parents and 12-year-old daughter. We chose a hotel near the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda but wanted to avoid noisy areas. **Environment:** The hotel is directly in front of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda fountain. We were very lucky to see the fountain on our first night, which was very convenient. Downstairs, there's a famous Liangpi (cold noodle) shop that also serves rice, Roujiamo (meat sandwiches), and even burgers, and it's open 24 hours. This was perfect for breakfast and late-night snacks during our stay. The subway station is right outside, making it easy to get anywhere. **Facilities:** The hotel has its own parking lot just a few dozen meters away, which was very convenient. The two double beds in the room were perfect for families with children. There's also a smart speaker (Xiao Du) with voice control, which was a nice touch. **Cleanliness:** Housekeeping cleaned our room daily, and it was very clean. They also replenished water and toiletries every day, which was very thoughtful. **Service:** The service was very warm and welcoming. Even before we arrived, they thoughtfully provided directions to the hotel and the parking lot, saving us a lot of hassle."

The cleanliness and hygiene. 4. The geographical location. 5. The professionalism of the service. 6. For a trip to Xi'an, it's a no-brainer when it comes to value for money."

"The location is super convenient, right next to the Bell Tower and close to Exit B of the subway. The room is well-appointed and the environment is very pleasant. The staff are very enthusiastic and offer in-room delivery service. The hygiene is excellent, and all the facilities are new."
Huangchengyi Hotel
"1) Poor hygiene conditions, with mosquitoes and other insects flying all over the walls. Please refer to the photos and videos for details. 2) Unreasonable layout: The power outlets are far from the desk, and the desk itself is very difficult to move. 3) Subpar hardware: The air conditioning was severely inadequate in cooling (even after I was moved to a different room). 4) The bathroom drain emitted a strong, unpleasant odor. The shower in the first room was broken, and in the second room, the shower water temperature was unstable. 5) Some staff members displayed poor service attitudes. After moving to the second room, the lights went out while I was only charging a power bank and my phone. The front desk called an electrician, who claimed it was a tripped circuit breaker. He initially questioned my electrical usage. After I explained and showed him my setup, confirming that my usage was completely normal, and asking him to advise me on how to avoid such issues if there was indeed a problem, he then stated he wasn't an electrician. Following this, he aggressively berated me for several minutes, accusing me of unplugging the TV and router. 6) Less than half an hour after the lights were restored, they went out again for the second time. I called the front desk to ask them to come up and see for themselves. The front desk said they would bring the duty manager. I waited for over ten minutes, and then the lights suddenly came back on by themselves without any human intervention (indicating it wasn't a tripped breaker). I called the front desk to say they didn't need to come up, but the customer service representative, being more responsible, insisted on coming to check. 7) At 1 AM, after communicating with the front desk and the duty manager, they promised to address all the issues I reported that night, as well as deal with the 'electrician' accordingly and inform me of the outcome. However, I received no feedback on the resolution until I checked out."
