"I couldn't wait to write a glowing review for this hotel the moment I checked out. With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, they gifted us a large box of mooncakes upon check-in, which was such a thoughtful touch! As a guest, you get free access to the scenic area, and the gardens are incredibly relaxing. For the evening performance, there's a dedicated entrance, saving a lot of time. The hot springs were also amazing; after watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' they had already drawn a bath for us. Soaking under the osmanthus trees in the courtyard, enveloped in the scent of autumn, I had the most peaceful sleep. I visit Xi'an every year, and this is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in here. Next time, I hope to bring my family for a short stay."

"This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in recent years! The entire hotel staff is highly professional, and their excellent service is evident at every step of your stay. While waiting for a ride-hailing car in the lobby, staff members would proactively approach me to ask about my destination and offer guidance for travel if I had questions. When I was taking photos in the lobby, staff members would also come over to help me find good angles and assist with the pictures. Whether it was checking in, having breakfast, or being at the hotel's pool or bar... in every scenario during my stay, I felt meticulous and thoughtful service, with many proactive and attentive touches that made for a very comfortable experience. I especially want to thank Flora Qiu Jianyue from the concierge team. We had three suitcases with us, and the booked car couldn't fit all of them, so we needed to move luggage back and forth. It was the scorching midday sun in Xi'an, and I was waiting in the shade with my three children. I called her over to avoid the sun, but she insisted on staying in the scorching sun to look after our luggage, helped us move it back and forth, and arranged for a different car. This small detail was truly heartwarming. The hotel's predecessor was the historic People's Grand Hotel, now part of the Sofitel Legend brand. The building itself boasts a rich historical heritage, but it's impeccably maintained. The furniture and public areas are kept in pristine condition, appearing new and polished, and everything is meticulously cared for, striking a perfect balance between old and new. The breakfast selection is abundant, and the taste is excellent. The toiletries provided in the room are Maison Caulières 'L'Aube des Sens,' with a sophisticated and gentle fragrance that I really enjoyed. Both the hardware maintenance and the service awareness of all staff members are impeccable. You definitely shouldn't miss this hotel when you come to Xi'an."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Bell Tower. We took Metro Line 2 from Xi'an North Station, and the hotel entrance is right by a Line 2 station, making getting around incredibly convenient. Line 2 is the main north-south line through Xi'an's central urban area, allowing transfers to most other lines along the way, so you barely need a taxi. The room was clean and tidy, the air conditioning was very powerful, and it was very quiet at night for a good rest. The smart toilet had many functions and was very comfortable to use. Breakfast was delicious, with a self-service Roujiamo station. There are plenty of great food options around the hotel, satisfying all tastes within walking distance!"

"Traveling with my 80-year-old parents, the hotel provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. The hotel's location is superb, right by the city wall. From the open-air restaurant on the 5th floor, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city wall, especially stunning at night. The hotel's exterior is a sight in itself, and I absolutely loved the ancient Tang-style interior design. Facilities are well-equipped, convenient to use, clean, and tidy. Every single staff member offered considerate and meticulous service, high in standard and never stingy. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Size - Rooms are very spacious. It has sofa bed, table and chair as living space. Bed - King size bed is comfy and there is choice of pillows. Toilet & bathroom - Separate toilet and bathroom. Both are very spacious and well-equipped. Heated toilet seat, auto-flushing toilet. Bathroom is huge and it is big enough not to fog the whole bath area. Location - Located in prime area. Less than 5 mins walk to Drum tower, 10mins walk to Bell tower, muslim quarter, Kaiyuan shopping mall and small shops nearby. 7-11 is just downstairs. Food - In-house restaurant for breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner. There is no buffet dinner available. There are ample choice of restaurants to try out in the stone-throw distance. So, it was fine for us. Facilities - Smart TV in room with screen mirroring. But only available for Chinese apps. Netflix, Prime, etc. are not available. USB B, C charging in room. Overall, the hotel is very modern, clean, located in Xi'an center and with high-tech facilities. Definitely highly recommended for any type of travellers."

"If you love the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, the Westin's location is unbeatable. The service was meticulous, and the Executive Lounge offers a fantastic view of the Pagoda. The concierge team was also very helpful with sending and receiving packages and preparing breakfast in advance. Overall, my experience was excellent! Of course, there was a minor hiccup. On the 16th day of the first ***** month, we used a hotel voucher to rent Tang dynasty costumes and get makeup done at a shop on the first floor. The convenience of its proximity and location was great. However, when we returned to the lobby, my child's headpiece was too tight, causing a headache, and she needed to sit down to adjust it. We sat down in a consumer area, and a bar attendant instantly appeared, telling us we couldn't sit there without making a purchase. The speed of their appearance definitely left a bad impression, especially since my child was complaining of a headache, and the attendant quickly urged us to leave. Personally, I feel that if the staff had asked if we were hotel guests and the reason for sitting, and then offered a suggestion or reminder, it would have felt more thoughtful. Furthermore, when we left, there was an empty table nearby with foreigners sitting there, and no one told them to leave, which made the situation even stranger. All in all, this minor incident doesn't overshadow the overall positive experience. Our short two-day stay was still very good, and I want to thank Candy and all the staff for their five-star service."

"Lovely hotel, we had a huge room with 2 TVs and probably one of my favourite showers out of hundreds of hotels. The breakfast was great, staff very friendly and great location right at the heart of Xian and only 30-40min by Didi from XianBei (North Station). The exterior of the hotel didn't do it justice, but once you are in the lobby everything is taken care of. Drum and Bell towers are both easily walkable 10-15min stroll through restaurant streets and make a lovely sunset visit (open till 9pm) and wandering around the exciting if slightly chaotic street food vendors of the Muslim Quarter just next to the towers are well exploring. Get some Biang Biang or a Xian traditional Chinese Burger. The Metro is also about 10-15 mins walk roughly near the drum tower which can take you to Huaqing Palace in about 50mins North East of the city (1 simple line change) I suggest you get entry tickets and shuttle for both palace and Terracotta Warriors (+10 mins shuttle from Huaqing Palace)."

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to popular attractions. Right across the street are two large shopping malls, so dining and shopping are also very easy. The hotel breakfast features a variety of authentic Shaanxi specialties; in just one meal, I got to taste delicious dishes like beef paomo, roujiamo, shuiben beef, hulutang, and youcha. The overall service at the hotel was satisfying, friendly, and attentive, with prompt responses to any issues. Five-star rating all around!"
