"Our family of four traveled to Xi'an and stumbled upon this amazing Tang Dynasty-themed guesthouse, 'Shouwang Hantang'. The moment we walked in, we were blown away! It's built right on the site of the Tang Dynasty Imperial Secretariat, and the Han Palace room perfectly recreates the grandeur of ancient Han imperial courts. The black and gold hand-painted wooden beams, Dunhuang flying Apsara murals, and millennia-old weathered wood paired with brass ornaments made us feel like we had instantly time-traveled back to a Han Dynasty palace. It features two super-king-sized beds (2.1 meters each) and a spacious living room, perfect for family chats and gatherings. The Kohler bathroom suite offers a three-zone wet and dry separation, and the intelligent bidet toilet provides constant temperature washing and drying. After a long day of traveling, sinking into the down comforters and memory foam pillows offered instant relaxation. The entire property boasts fresh air ventilation and central air conditioning for consistent temperature and airflow. Xiaodu AI controls everything in the room, and the mini-bar offers unlimited complimentary Bingfeng soda and custom mineral water. The breakfast spread was also extensive.
Location-wise, it's fantastic! You can walk to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter, and the Exit for Metro Line 6 is right outside. There are countless Xi'an specialty snacks all around, and the Muslim Quarter is just across the street. Throughout the guesthouse, from the Suzhou-style wood carvings to the Tang Dynasty official corridors, you can see exquisite craftsmanship everywhere. It truly blends rich cultural heritage with high-end comfort. The staff were warm and attentive, making the entire experience an immersive journey through Han and Tang history. We wanted to extend our stay but couldn't get another room, so we had to leave with regret. Next time we visit Xi'an, we'll definitely book in advance and spend more days enjoying this wonderful place!"
