"Great location with the room offering a fantastic view right in front of the Bell Tower. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.
I requested a clothes steamer and the staff responded very promptly, which I really appreciated.
They even offered umbrellas when it was raining. Other than that, I had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to return.
One small note: the hotel does not have a dedicated drop-off point. If you are taking DiDi, there is a bus stop just beside the hotel where you can be dropped off, so it’s still quite convenient.
Train station is just right in front of the hotel as well, make use of the underpass to walk around."

It takes about 25 minutes to take the No. 2 subway directly from the hotel entrance to the North Railway Station. The hotel has the largest underground parking lot in the Bell Tower business district, divided into two floors - basement one and basement two, with 350 parking spaces, solving the problem of parking difficulties for guests near the Bell Tower. The guest rooms are designed in a fashionable, luxurious and comfortable manner. "The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Bell Tower. We took Metro Line 2 from Xi'an North Station, and the hotel entrance is right by a Line 2 station, making getting around incredibly convenient. Line 2 is the main north-south line through Xi'an's central urban area, allowing transfers to most other lines along the way, so you barely need a taxi. The room was clean and tidy, the air conditioning was very powerful, and it was very quiet at night for a good rest. The smart toilet had many functions and was very comfortable to use. Breakfast was delicious, with a self-service Roujiamo station. There are plenty of great food options around the hotel, satisfying all tastes within walking distance!"

"The gym is not a gym. It is a laundry room with a cheap looking bike in it. Might be a treadmill as well.
The laundry room is very useful. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers. There could be a system to help manage people's washes so that the machines were not left standing full as when I tried to use them they were all in use for most of the evening.
The biggest problem I had in an otherwise good stay was that the amount of dust in the rooms. On all surfaces (pictured some dust on the phone and a thick layer on the projector) there is dust. When I reported this a quick wipe of the projector was done but no apology or anything like this and no other areas were dusted. The room (and probably hotel) needs a deep clean.
The projector worked easily enough for me and was good, though I took my own hdmi cable that I plugged into the back, rather than using their system which I had no idea how to use and didn't see any instructions.
Overall this hotel was good enough and good for the price but not as good as the rating suggests or the list of amenities could be."

The hotel's exterior is a sight in itself, and I absolutely loved the ancient Tang-style interior design.
Facilities are well-equipped, convenient to use, clean, and tidy.

"The location of Aman Hotel is truly excellent. I was able to take the subway directly from Xi'an North Station, and the hotel even informed me in advance that it's closer to use the hotel's back entrance from the subway exit. My train arrived early, and the hotel prioritized cleaning my room. The hotel is on Ci'en West Road, and from the back entrance, it's just a few minutes' walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City. It was also very convenient for me to visit the Shaanxi History Museum.
Secondly, the hotel environment is also very nice. I really liked the Tang Dynasty style and the Dunhuang murals. The front desk even arranged my booked room on the second floor, and sitting outside was incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness inside the room was also very good; it was spacious, equipped with a smart toilet, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation. The bedding was comfortable, making the stay extremely pleasant. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful; as it was my first time in Xi'an, they patiently answered all my travel questions, making me feel right at home. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"I couldn't wait to write a glowing review for this hotel the moment I checked out. With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, they gifted us a large box of mooncakes upon check-in, which was such a thoughtful touch! As a guest, you get free access to the scenic area, and the gardens are incredibly relaxing. For the evening performance, there's a dedicated entrance, saving a lot of time. The hot springs were also amazing; after watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' they had already drawn a bath for us. Soaking under the osmanthus trees in the courtyard, enveloped in the scent of autumn, I had the most peaceful sleep. I visit Xi'an every year, and this is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in here. Next time, I hope to bring my family for a short stay."

🚌 Convenient Transportation: The hotel offers a shuttle service to the Terracotta Army, which made getting to the attractions super convenient. I didn't have to worry about transportation myself, which saved a lot of hassle!
💁 Thoughtful Service: The staff's service attitude was excellent. From check-in to check-out, they were all very warm and attentive, making me feel very welcome.
🍜 Amazing Breakfast: The breakfast had a rich variety, with all sorts of Xi'an specialty dishes available! Roujiamo (meat burger), Liangpi (cold noodles), and Hulutang (spicy soup) – all the authentic local flavors were there, and they tasted very genuine. I was extremely satisfied!
I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xi'an. Highly recommended! 👍

GGuest UserThe Staffs were very very helpful in helping to recommend tours, local travelling to tourists' places , what to see for tourists i.e. us. They recommended where to taste local authentic foods even to beware of fraudsters, eat healthy and spend worthy etc.
The hotel, Ibilis was wonderful and up to standard for locals and international tourists. We appreciated the staffs' courteous ways of dealing with tourists (both local and international i.e us included. The hotel is at the right location to many touristic places and local /international food places too.
We like to stay again in this hotel, Ibilis Hotel when we come as a family again and also recommend to our extended families, friends and travel companions! Bravo!

Excellent location, within walking distance to the Bell Tower, right next to the Bell Tower tour meeting point. Super convenient for getting around.
The room was meticulously cleaned, and facilities were well-maintained. The staff were warm and professional, never over-intrusive.
Downstairs, there are many snack stalls, offering a one-stop shop for food, drinks, and entertainment. Staying here saved us time and was very comfortable.
This time, we celebrated our child's tenth birthday, and the hotel helped decorate the room. The atmosphere was amazing, perfect for photos.
The customer service was incredibly thoughtful; they even helped print my child's study worksheets and gave a small gift for the birthday.
Bringing kids to Xi'an, staying here was a perfect experience! 💯

WWirawantyI only stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel is in a very strategic and convenient location, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. The receptionist was also friendly and welcoming.
However, I had two disappointing experiences during my stay.
1. The room was initially different from what I booked
When I first entered my room, I noticed that it did not appear to match the room I had booked through Trip.com. The layout was different, including the location of the bathtub, and the room also seemed smaller than the one shown in the photos and videos on the booking platform.
I am not sure whether the room was actually the same room category or whether I was given a different type of room by mistake.
I later mentioned this to the staff at the Club Lounge. They were very helpful and immediately assisted me in changing to another room that matched the photos and videos shown in my Trip.com booking. I really appreciated their quick response and assistance. However, I was still left wondering whether the first room was given to me by mistake or whether there was some other misunderstanding.
2. The swimming pool cap policy was confusing
The second experience was regarding the swimming pool.
When my husband and our 2-year-old child wanted to swim, the pool staff told us that swimming caps were mandatory. Since we did not bring any, we immediately went to the pool reception desk to purchase one. At first, I only intended to buy one for my husband, but the staff told us that we had to purchase two caps, including one for our child.
However, my husband noticed a sign at the pool reception desk clearly stating that swimming caps were mandatory for guests aged 3 and above.
We explained that our child was only 2 years old, but the staff still insisted that our child had to wear a swimming cap, so we ended up purchasing two.
After we finished swimming, I passed by the reception desk again and personally checked the sign. It clearly stated that the swimming cap requirement applied to children aged 3 and above.
My child is only 2 years old, and during the time in the pool, he was simply sitting/soaking in the water while being held by his father. I initially had no problem purchasing the cap because I was happy to follow the hotel’s rules. However, after seeing the actual policy on the sign, I couldn’t help but wonder why the staff insisted on making us purchase one for a 2-year-old without first asking about his age.
If the intention is for swimming caps to be mandatory for all ages, then perhaps the wording on the sign should simply be changed to reflect that rule. 😃 Otherwise, the current situation is quite confusing and, honestly, a little ironic.
When checking out, I mentioned this issue to the receptionist. She apologized and kindly gave me a small Xi’an refrigerator magnet as a gesture. Thank you — I genuinely appreciated it.
Overall, the hotel has a great location, and some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, these experiences left me somewhat disappointed with my stay.
I hope the hotel can clarify these policies and improve communication between staff members in the future.

You absolutely HAVE to try the rice noodles for breakfast! I ate them for three days straight, haha. They come with a stir-fried meat sauce that's incredibly delicious.
The aunties and the front desk staff were all so thoughtful and accommodating. They helped with everything I asked for, even printing dozens of pages of my contract!
**Double Indulgence Afternoon Tea Buffet**: Highly recommended, with fruits, pastries, and coffee.

SShoumiaoWe were five grown men and had a very comfortable stay. This is a B&B in the residential complex. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and well-equipped. The floor heating was very warm, even with the windows open, it wasn't cold, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The complex is well-managed, and it's right next to Wanda and two snack streets! There's a wide variety of food options, but eating in the room was so comfortable that we deliberately packed up for two nights and played mahjong and poker afterwards...we didn't want to go out. Transportation is very convenient, and the subway station is just a short walk away. Two of the bedrooms are small suites, one with a private bathroom, and the other two share a bathroom. Three bathrooms are definitely enough. In short, living in this large flat is really comfortable!
