MM16560****After spending the morning at the Terracotta Army, staying overnight at Huaqing Palace was an excellent choice. The surroundings here are absolutely stunning, and the service was exceptional. As soon as I booked, a private butler reached out to me by phone and proactively helped me book the best seats for 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' tailored to my preferences. The hour-plus performance, with Mount Li itself serving as the stage backdrop, was truly breathtaking. A spectacular show! There's no need to rush back to the hotel, as it's located right within Huaqing Palace. This allowed us to leisurely stroll and soak in the beautiful evening views of Huaqing Palace without any worries.
In the evening, we had the luxury of a private hot spring tub right in our room. Waking up in Huaqing Palace's Mingde Hall the next morning, our family enjoyed a buffet breakfast at the Imperial Cuisine Garden. The tranquil morning allowed us to leisurely capture photos of Fuyong Hall, Changsheng Hall, and other attractions before the crowds arrived. While the price reflects the quality (you certainly get what you pay for), the overall value for money is subjective. Our entire family had a wonderful time, and we highly recommend it!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Sofitel People’s Legend in Xi’an. Our room was spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable – the perfect place to relax after exploring the city’s rich history. Dining at Dolce Vita was a delight, with exquisite cuisine and a warm atmosphere.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional service we received. A heartfelt thank you to Ruizi, Themis, Fancy, and Tommy, who went above and beyond to make our Mother’s Day celebration so special. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel truly cherished.
If we could give more than five stars, this would be a solid 10. We will most certainly return!

Inside, the hotel's garden design adheres to traditional landscaping principles, using mountains and water as its framework and architectural elements as tasteful embellishments, fostering a serene and elegant ambiance. The plants in the garden are thoughtfully arranged, ensuring picturesque views throughout all four seasons. The service was equally impressive; the friendly staff, particularly the dedicated housekeeping team, ensured our beds were immaculately made every day upon our return. A special shout-out to Dier, who was very thoughtful in arranging activities for the children. We will definitely be back!

The moment you walk in, you are enveloped by the hotel's gorgeous warm minimalist farmhouse aesthetic. Everything is new, immaculately clean, and beautifully appointed. The thoughtful decor provides such a cozy, welcoming ambience, making the entire hotel photogenic at every turn.
The true highlight, however, is the five-star level of hospitality. The service was, simply put, flawless. Every staff member was genuinely friendly, helpful, and attentive, radiating beautiful warmth. 🌹They anticipated our needs and responded to requests with speed and care. This high standard of service was consistent, from our arrival to the efficient coordination we experienced via WeChat. The rooftop lookout is an unbeatable amenity. It offers a spectacular, crowd-free view of the iconic Bell Tower, allowing you to enjoy the vista in complete comfort. This spot, along with the chill vibe of the rooftop bar and its friendly bartender🍐, provides the perfect sanctuary to end your day.
Beyond the perfect staff, decor, and views, the hotel provides amazing value with its generous daily offerings: breakfast, tea break, and supper (all rotating between three menus to keep things fresh).
This hotel is a beautiful sanctuary—highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserMy recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Xi'an truly impressed me and left me feeling incredibly welcome! From Annie's initial contact after booking to confirm my check-in time, through the smooth check-in process and my entire stay, the front desk team was incredibly pleasant and always greeted us with sweet smiles. They patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions and proactively introduced the hotel's facilities. Annie's thoughtful and attentive arrangements made our Xi'an trip even more perfect.
The hotel's breakfast was a delightful surprise. It offered a wide variety of options, featuring not only a range of classic Chinese dishes but also exquisite Western pastries, fresh fruits, salads, and more, truly catering to the diverse tastes of all guests. The comfortable dining environment made the meal a truly pleasant experience.
Once again, I'd like to thank Annie for her warm hospitality, which made my Xi'an trip even more wonderful.

1. The location is superb, just a stone's throw away from the Grand Tang Everbright City (大唐不夜城).
2. The hotel boasts extremely spacious and upscale public areas that feel very comfortable.
3. Rooms are generously sized, featuring large bathrooms and a dedicated walk-in closet.
4. Breakfast is extensive, offering a great variety of local specialty foods.
Cons:
1. The toilet in the bathroom was quite uncomfortable to use, especially for prolonged sitting.
2. The staff member who delivered bottled water knocked but failed to announce herself (e.g., 'Hello, I'm from housekeeping').
3. The standard of polite language from the lobby security needs improvement. For example, when an out-of-town vehicle, unfamiliar with the road conditions, mistakenly entered against the traffic flow, the security guard's immediate remark was: 'There's a big arrow on the ground, can't you see it?' My thought was, 'I *did* see it, but does that justify driving against traffic? Why aren't there clearer, upright signs for the exit? Wouldn't that be more noticeable?' I truly hope you can consider these issues more from a customer's point of view.

AAnonymous UserOverall, the hotel is fantastic, with a pretty good location. It's exceptionally well-suited for families traveling with children; everything from the service to the hardware and software amenities ensures a very comfortable stay.
Initially, I only booked for one night. After I offered some minor suggestions for improvement during a follow-up call, the duty manager promptly came to our room to personally ask for detailed feedback and even offered us complimentary breakfast. Their service attitude was truly outstanding.
Impressed by our experience, we extended our stay for another four nights, and we even received a room upgrade based on availability. The overall service was exceptional. Traveling with a small baby, we asked housekeeping for extra water, and they provided it without any hesitation. I was especially touched by the housekeeping staff that day; they even left a personalized note and mosquito repellent patches for us – it was such a warm and thoughtful gesture.
The lobby staff were also incredibly helpful, always assisting us with our luggage whenever we were getting in or out of a car, especially with a baby in tow. What's more, at check-out, they even extended our check-out time to allow our baby to nap, which was incredibly thoughtful. This truly made me feel that the hotel operates with a generous and customer-centric approach, rather than being petty or stingy.
When traveling with a baby, safety and cleanliness are always our top priority, and exceptional, thoughtful service is an unbeatable bonus. This hotel, overall, is far superior to the Meliá hotels I've experienced in other cities (which was why I initially only booked one night, as previous Meliá stays had been disappointing; I'm actually not sure if Gran Meliá and Meliá belong to the same group). It earns massive bonus points from us! Next time I visit Xi'an, I will absolutely choose this hotel again. Highly, highly recommended for families with babies!!!

DDapanghaierAt Angsana Hotel, the service was truly the highlight and exceptionally good. The pool was decent, and the staff were very attentive and responsible. However, some areas had exposed rocks, which posed a safety hazard; my child unfortunately scraped their ankle on one. The room design was excellent, featuring a large, comfortable bathtub. The only downsides were that some facilities definitely needed maintenance, such as a broken showerhead, and the absence of disposable nail clippers and bathtub liners. The balcony offered no view to speak of. The complimentary carousel ride and VR experience felt quite underwhelming. On a positive note, the self-service drinks at the front desk were delicious, and the snack box received upon check-in was tasty. Overall, I recommend staying one night in Lintong, as it allows you to visit the Terracotta Army at 5 PM, thus avoiding the peak crowds.

MMILST1We chose this hotel for the location at the airport. We arrived very very late, and the connection between the airport and hotel was locked. We did not know how to access the hotel, which caused us stress. There was a phone number, but I could not figure out how to make a local telephone call on my international telephone. We only got through because others had the same problem and were also trying to access the hotel side. At three in the morning, we could not figure out any alternative. There should be clear signage with clear instructions. That was our only problem. The front desk was helpful, the room was good enough, and the breakfast was solid.

The suite's layout was traditional yet very practical. The toilet and bathing areas were separate, and the double vanity sinks were quite spacious, making it incredibly convenient for two people to get ready simultaneously in the morning.
Breakfast was very generous. I highly recommend trying the noodles with *saòzi* (minced meat sauce)!
I would definitely consider staying here again for my next business trip. It offers excellent value for money!
