Our stay at Hesu Designer Hotel was absolutely lovely! The hotel is beautiful, with a great location near the center, making it convenient to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and friendly, going out of their way to help us despite the language barrier, as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to the front desk team and to Xiao Wang, who assisted us throughout our stay.
The team made us feel so welcome, always offering us coffee and making sure we were comfortable. At the end of our stay, they even surprised us with a lovely gift (picture).
The hotel also provided fantastic recommendations for attractions and restaurants, which made our trip so much easier and enjoyable.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Xi’an!

We had a lovely stay at OrangeHao Hotel in Xi’an with our family, booking three rooms. The hotel provided a comfortable and welcoming environment, making our trip truly enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff stood out with their friendly and helpful attitude, always ready to assist with any requests.
However, a small note of caution: the hotel’s address on Google Maps is inaccurate, so be sure to double-check the location before heading over. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xi’an. Thank you for the excellent service!

We stayed 5 nights at the hotel. They served delivious breakfast with a good variety.
The location of the hotel was good, easy access to the Muslim Quarter, Bell Tower, shopping malls and train station.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
There were restaurants and shops outside, both at the right and left of the hotel.
There is one pastry shop at Lian Hu Lu selling freshly baked and delicious pastries. It is a must try.
The staff of the shop were friendly too.
The people we met in Xi'an were friendly and helpful, especially when we needed directions.
We enjoyed our stay and had a good time in Xi'an.

1. Location - very conveniently located. The street has lots of convenience stores, restaurants and food carts especially at night time. The food carts here were slightly cheaper but equally if not better than the ones in the more popular Muslim quarter. We had one of the best hot and sour dumpling soup in one of the food carts down one of the alleys. Went there twice.
2. The Muslim quarter is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel. We went there all 3 nights of our stay, to eat, to shop, to sightsee etc. it was very lively and lots of shops open until midnight.
3. The ground floor has direct access to the mall next in the same building during the day where they open the door between the buildings.
4. There are 2 metros very close by. You have to walk a lot inside Zhonglau station.
5. The breakfast was simple and filling. We had it for one of the days when we had an early start. The other days we ate from the places open on the street below. There is also McDonald’s across the street.
6. It is walking distance to the Xian city wall.
7. The room is on the smaller side but not cramped. Enough room for 2 of us. It was clean and modern. We booked one of the rooms that didn’t have a window to outside. The hotel had a setting where two rows of rooms had a gap in the middle with windows facing one another.
8. The staff were really helpful and helped us through translate apps.
9. They also give you a small gift of some Chinese snacks on your departure which was very nice.

Pros - Perfect location, right in front of Xi'an bell tower, 10m from metro entrance. Great range of breakfast bar (starts at 7am) from chinese dishes, pastry, yogurt, soy milk, coffee, to local delights order counter as well. Taste good. Free tea break from 2pm to 4pm. Packed breakfast service with pastries available if unable to dine in due to super early trip schedule. Clean & comfortable bed. Room space is acceptable. All toiletrie, shampoo, body wash, toothbrush etc. were provided. Front desk responsive on feedback/enquiries. Having temporary luggage storage service after check out.
Cons - Do Not Disturb button not functioning after taking out the room card. Cleaner in my room when we were temporarily out for breakfast and our belongings were exposed that time.

Excellent location that is convenient to go everywhere esp the popular Muslim Street (Hui Min Jie) which is just across the hotel with plentiful food. There is a convenient shop downstair. Room is reasonably sized. Hot shower and room hot air con works fine. During my stay my room was quiet enough for a good sleep. Breakfast wise, food was averaged but coffee was good. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommending this value for money hotel. *Perhaps the only things that need to be improved is to have a full length mirror in the room and to have more hooks for hanging of clothes. Below street food of Muslim Street.

EExpatThis is probably the perfect hotel for someone in transition to the city. There’s actually some families that come here also. The room size was just right for me. One suggestion is to add an extra luggage table or chair-side table.
I was splitting the week with two different hotels and decided to stay at Mr. Wu’s the whole week because the reviews turned out to be better. The location is in the hi-tech area, and walking around to multiple venues or shops is quite easy. My Cityview had some city sounds to go with it, but I actually enjoyed that.
The staff did really well with helping translate a lot because my Mandarin and is not strong. It’s easy to get to a bus or nearby subway and even grab a rideshare. I only had the breakfast a couple of times, but they had a really good selection. The teatime and the welcoming fruit were a nice touch along with the gift upon check-out.
I was already traveling overseas and needed to wait a full week to get into my apartment. Everything including the laundry, gym, lobby waiting area, and housekeeping service was good.
I did not use the foot spa access on the second floor, but I plan to go back to the area since I’m transitioning into the city. Very clean and cute decorations. For the location and the price, this is definitely a must-stay.
It’s important to note that larger groups might need more space. My room was perfect for one to two people. There was even an event room some ladies were celebrating in. Each floor lobby is a bit different. Just right.

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!)
The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all.
A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome.
I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone.
After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out.
I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! LLillian Lau。We stayed at Yaman Hotel from 25th to 31st, 2024. There were 4 of us, two adults and two children, and we stayed for 6 nights in total. My first impression was that the whole hotel was very low-key. Walking in through the door, you will find a unique cave (you can see the photos and share them).
I booked two room types, and the lady at the front desk, Xiaomei, helped me upgrade the room for two nights so that we wouldn’t have to move around. It was very considerate👍
The room has a terrace, facing the most beautiful garden landscape. The air is very fresh. When you get up every day, you can bathe in the sunshine, listen to the birds in the forest, and watch the people doing their morning exercise outside. A simple and beautiful life begins.
Inside the room, the design is simple and comfortable, with a bit of Tang Dynasty elements. The hygiene is good. The staff cleans our room every day and folds the clothes on the bed for us.
The breakfast in the hotel is also very high-quality, including milk, soy milk, orange juice, tea, cheese, nuts, fruits, bread, desserts, meat dishes, vegetarian dishes, and two chefs specially cook noodles, wontons, meat sandwich, etc... Special thanks to the eldest sister in the catering department. The four of us ate breakfast in the hotel for 6 days. The eldest sister always greeted people with a smile every day, took care of my two children, and made us feel like we were home every day.
The hotel also provides free washing machines and dryers. During our 7-day trip, each person only brought 3 sets of clothes. Fortunately, the hotel has washing and drying facilities, which made our trip much easier.
The hotel also offers free tea ceremony and flower arrangement classes, which we all participated in. Thank you, Teacher Jing Jing, for bringing us knowledge and inner peace.
For facilities outside the hotel, take the subway from Xianyang International Airport to Dayan Pagoda Station, which takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. It takes about 3 minutes to walk from Dayan Pagoda Subway Station to the hotel.
It takes a 5-minute walk from the hotel to reach the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Further on, there are famous attractions such as Ci'en Temple, Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, and Tang Dynasty Night City.
Very good hotel, recommended to everyone! I would also like to thank all the hotel staff for taking care of our family of four for six days.

TThoThe staff were all very accommodating, in particular a lovely girl named 江晓. We liaise via WeChat 1 month prior to my arrival date and she took the trouble to provide information that I required even though she was on leave, which was totally impressive.
When we arrived the front desk staff 范范，祥祥 patiently and graciously directed us to eateries where local eat and their recommendation was good.
The breakfast spread is good as it provide ample local shaanxi cusine where we can sample them without having to go out and get the street food. They also have a free laundrette on the 12th floor.
The hotel is located right behind Humin Street and 20 mins walk away from the Bell Tower.
It is a totally pleasant and an enjoyable stay. Kudos to all the service staff.

CChewJames SSMy family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Xian Bell Tower. There was a slight delay in checking our room on the first day as there were quite a number of quests checking in simultaneously. The front desk staff was apologetic but polite and did their best to arrange the logistics in an efficient and orderly manner. We had some complementary drinks and cookies while waiting for the room to be ready.
The highlights of our stays were definitely the breakfasts which had a variety of Western and Chinese cuisine. The kitchen staff are extremely friendly (Special mentions to Lucky and a couple of her colleagues - sorry for not remembering their name) who went the extra mile to serve us freshly cooked delicacies everyday. They even gave my daughter local souvenirs as a welcome gesture.
The hotel location is centrally convenient and walking distance to the famous Bell and Drum Towers which were surrounded by cafes and restaurants.
Amenities are great from gyms and laundry rooms to the automatic toilet with heater function which is most welcome in winter time!
Room cleanliness is well maintained by housekeeping who is prompt and accommodative with additional requests, e.g. extra mineral waters and cloth hangers.
The only minus side is the room wifi which has limited connectivity intermittently on our mobile phones. Oddly this is the same issue we faced when we stayed at a different hotel in Xian.
All in all, a pleasant stay in a Hilton standard hotel. Highly recommended for tourists visiting this ancient and beautiful city.

MMaliya LaoshiCandy Tang, one of the Front Desk staff, she was so professional, sleek and very customer friendly, especially that I am a foreigner and my Chinese Language is limited. very quiet room, floor and surroundings.
