The Knot Sapporo
"The location is perfect. Near tanukikoji shopping street, odori park and there are so many restaurant."
Portom International Hokkaido
A luxurious airport-adjacent hotel featuring refined interiors, art-inspired design, and a calm, premium stay experience.
Richmond Hotel Sapporo Odori
"The location is quite good. If you walk past the ground floor restaurant from the hotel lobby, you'll find the back entrance, which leads directly to Tanukikoji 4 – very convenient. The hotel also has good security. Since it's located in a popular tourist area, they prioritize guests' safety. After midnight, you need your room card to enter the main gate and to select your floor in the elevator. I went out for ramen late at night and only noticed the hotel's security measures when I returned. Sapporo Station is also within walking distance. The hotel provides DHC skincare products."
Hotel Forza Sapporo Station
"I don't understand why this hotel was prioritized in my search results. It's essentially a budget hotel. I chose it because I saw great reviews online, saying it was super close to the station – right across the street – and had a generous breakfast. However, when I actually got there, I found it was still a good fifteen-minute walk from the JR station. So, if location is your priority, I'd recommend other hotels right next to or even inside the JR station, like the Nikko. If you want a better quality stay, you could always take a taxi to other mid-to-high-end chain hotels in the city center; at least then you're guaranteed quality. The breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The 'exquisite Japanese breakfast with seafood' only consisted of a tiny plate each of sashimi and shrimp. I found the rest of the food to be pretty average. Don't be fooled by the luxurious seafood rice bowls in the promotional photos... As for the room, I arrived at the hotel close to 7 PM. When I entered my room, I found the window faced an outdoor staircase, which was dark and quite unsettling. The key thing is that the room photos during booking didn't show this kind of layout for this room type, so I asked to switch. The hotel, however, said it would cost extra. I thought about checking out, but it wasn't an option. So, I just paid the extra and endured two nights. It was pretty frustrating, to say the least. Service and Facilities: Don't expect much from a budget hotel's service; it's just adequate. You get two 330ml bottles of water daily, no more. The room was very damp. Even though I kept the bathroom dehumidifier running 24/7, the bedding was still damp and uncomfortable to sleep on. After all the previous issues and discussions, I couldn't be bothered to 'battle' over the bedding now. The TV has screen mirroring, but no cable TV. If you want to watch something, you have to log into your own accounts on TikTok or other apps, which is quite inconvenient for someone used to having the TV on for international news. So, overall, I definitely do not recommend this hotel."
FUN GATE HOTEL SAPPORO
"The hotel is a few hundred meters from the subway station and city center. They offer afternoon tea, and complimentary water and drinks. The room was small but clean, and the service was fine. It was a bit of a trek with luggage from the subway, especially in the snow."
Hotel Emion Sapporo
"Great location and excellent service! The location is highly convenient, especially since Exit 15 connects Sapporo Station directly to the hotel. The staff was incredibly accommodating; they allowed us to store our luggage at the concierge overnight between our stays. When we checked in for the second time, we were thrilled to find they had already delivered our bags straight to our room. While the first room was typical for a Japanese hotel, our second room was noticeably more spacious. We could easily open our luggage in the corner and still have plenty of room to walk around."
Sapporo Grand Hotel
A historic 5-star hotel that blends classic hospitality with modern comforts in a prime location near Odori Park, the Sapporo Clock Tower, and the subway network.
Vessel Hotel Campana Susukino

Hotel One's Residence
"It only takes about 3 to 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Park Station. The location is convenient and the environment is clean!"

InterContinental Sapporo by IHG
"Nice hotel"
Sapporo Park Hotel
"I arrived in Sapporo late at night and took a taxi from Sapporo JR Station to the hotel, which cost about 1800 yen. The next morning, as I pulled open the curtains, I was absolutely stunned: before me was a beautiful world of pristine white snow, with Nakajima Park spread out in full view. I was so grateful for the clear blue sky, allowing the distant mountains to be clearly visible. It truly lived up to its name as a 'room with a view.' Although the facilities are a bit dated, the room layout is very practical, and the bathroom is spacious enough. The bedding and linens are all of high quality. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and excellent. Eating breakfast in the ground floor restaurant, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows, and watching the snow silently fall from the trees was an indescribable pleasure. Even better was the hotel's location for transportation. Nakajima Koen Station's Exit 3 and Exit 1 are only a two-minute walk from the hotel, making getting around incredibly convenient! The front desk service was also impeccable. We stayed for a total of three nights, but had to switch rooms for the third night. When we returned in the evening, the staff had already moved all our luggage to the new room. It was a very thoughtful gesture."
Hotel Sosei Sapporo - MGallery Collection
"The hotel is located just opposite to Sapporo Beer Factory, so you will have a nice historic view ;) you can try beer tasting at the hotel bar as well, though a bit pricy than the beer tasting from the Sapporo bear museum."
Jozankei View Hotel
"Great value for money in this ryokan, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service for the price. Jozankei itself is somewhere I could have spent a week. Next time!"
Blue Hotel Octa (Adult Only)
"A few very happy nights, the front desk staff spoke very gently, and the breakfast was also delicious"
Jozankei Manseikaku Hotel Milione
"We stayed here on a family trip, and my mother was thrilled, saying it was the best hotel she'd ever stayed in! Everything was perfect, from the helpful front desk staff and the cleanliness of the rooms to the excellent public bath (with a shampoo bar!) and the generous breakfast buffet. I would love to come back to Hokkaido just to stay at this hotel again."
Hotel Sapporo Sun Plaza
"The parking lot was easy to get in and out of, the location was good, and it was convenient for eating out."
Cross Hotel Sapporo
"The hotel is in a perfect position, just a few minutes' walk from the train station and the main centre of the city. On the 18th floor the hotel has a little Onsen with view on the city (separated male/female). You won't be asked to pay the "spa tax" you would be asked to pay in other places like Noboribetsu. We asked a price for an additional night at the hotel, in the same room type, and they were asking almost double the price you can find on the same day for the same room on Trip."
Hotel Keihan Sapporo
"The location is within easy walking distance of major attractions, subway lines, and great restaurants. The bed was incredibly comfortable, fantastic night's sleep every single night. Best of all, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay here again!"
Premier Hotel-Cabin-Sapporo
"The hotel have a nice breakfast and very good indoor and outdoor Onsen which is really great and nice view of snow fall on outdoor Onsen"
HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Sapporo Park
"The room was very clean, and the larger rooms offer great value for money. Now I know which room to choose next time I visit Hokkaido. The hotel also has hot springs, and you can enjoy two soaks a day, which is really relaxing."
Vessel Inn Sapporo Nakajimakoen
"Everything was great except for the breakfast! In addition to the usual complimentary coffee and drinks, the lobby also offered clam chowder and crab soup (clear broth, of course, no actual clams or crab meat). The room was quite spacious. The hotel is conveniently located right across from Nakajima Park and the subway station, and it's also very close to Susukino. Bottled water was provided in the room. While the breakfast had a good variety, the seafood wasn't very fresh, which was a shame considering it's ranked as the fourth best breakfast in Japan."
Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Sapporo Susukino Junction
"The hotel's location is excellent, and it's very clean and hygienic. The staff were also very polite. We were able to store our luggage for a few days while we visited other places, which was very accommodating and thoughtful."
Jr Inn Sapporo
"The hotel's location is fantastic, not far from the JR Sapporo Station West Exit. There's a convenience store, restaurants, and even a McDonald's right next door. The milk pudding at breakfast was especially delicious."
Premier Hotel Nakajima Park Sapporo
"Great view and place"
