Amazing
HHuatouThe hotel is quite new and conveniently located right next to the JR station, with plenty of dining and shopping options connected within the station. The breakfast spread was generous. The room was a bit small, but that's typical for Japanese hotels. The onsen (hot spring) is tiny but clean and hygienic. A tip for fellow travelers: if you plan to use the onsen, please respect local customs. Make sure to wash yourself thoroughly from head to toe before entering the bath. I saw some fellow countrymen being corrected. Respecting others is respecting yourself!
GGuest UserVery close to Odori Park. There is an airport bus stop in front of the hotel near the Sapporo TV Tower, which is very convenient. There is also a tram station located behind the hotel, making transportation even more convenient. The hotel is connected to Odori Subway Station, and the location is excellent.
The staff are very nice, friendly, and provide great service with warm smiles.
The breakfast is decent, nothing fancy but satisfactory. Overall, I was impressed and would recommend staying here.
Nnatsu_yasumiStayed here for 3 nights and overall had a really positive experience.
The location is super convenient, about a 5-minute walk to both the train station and MTR, which made getting around effortless. There are plenty of convenience stores right nearby.
The hotel has a nice quiet vibe, which was perfect after busy days out exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The room itself was a standout, surprisingly big and spacious by Japanese standards. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, and there was still plenty of floor space even after we opened two large suitcases (something that’s almost impossible in most other compact hotels in Japan).
The only downside was the bedding. The duvet (?) was way too thick and heavy for my liking. It made the bed feel quite hot at night, and I ended up sweating a lot despite the AC.
Otherwise, this place was near perfect. Would definitely recommend it to others, especially if you’re okay with cranking the AC lower. Solid choice!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right across from Nakajima Park, making it super convenient for playing in the snow! The facilities are quite new, but the room was a bit small. We booked a deluxe room, but the view wasn't great – it faced inwards. I wonder if it's because we checked in late, so we were given a less desirable orientation. The breakfast was also good; the ramen was delicious, and they even offered free breakfast for our 6-year-old son. Overall, it's great value for money, and we'd definitely stay here again.
KkenjigohSpend our first night in Sapporo in this new hotel. We drove and this hotel provides indoor mechanical parking. The car will not be covered in snow the next day! The staff is very friendly and patience in helping us with the carparking lift as well as check in. Receptionists can speak good english. Hotel room is also very clean and new! Definitely will stay here again if we visit Sapporo again.
Not to mention this hotel is conveniently located beside the famous Tanukikoji Shopping Street, 狸小路商店街. Book Off and Family Mart is just within less than 5mins walk from the lobby too. The famous Susukino street with the Nikka Whisky sign is also within walking distance.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo city center. It takes about half an hour to reach Sapporo. If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.
AAnonymous UserI stayed for 6 nights and the front desk service was excellent. Although the room was small, it had everything I needed. I highly recommend it, and it's super close to the JR station, just a short walk away, which is very convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sapporo.
MMomo sproThe room was incredibly clean and tidy. Its compact size actually gave me a lovely sense of security and coziness.
The hotel breakfast was perfect for energizing me for the day ahead, and the fried noodles were especially delicious.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. It's situated perfectly between Sapporo Station and Odori Park, making it easy to walk everywhere. While Sapporo's underground walkways are very convenient, I personally preferred walking above ground to soak in the city's atmosphere. Sapporo city walks are simply amazing!
After a day of exploring Hokkaido, the hotel's bathtub was a real treat, allowing me to enjoy a relaxing soak. Initially, I was a bit unsure if I'd enjoy a bath, as I'm used to showers. However, after experiencing Japanese onsen in Hakodate a couple of days earlier, I fell in love with the feeling of soaking in hot water. So, having a bathtub in the hotel was a pleasant bonus!
Furthermore, I really appreciated the hotel's eco-friendly cleaning policy. It was a small effort for me to leave towels and trash outside the door for cleaning, but it significantly lightens the workload for the cleaning staff. Plus, the fact that they don't enter the room gives guests more privacy, as the room looked exactly the same when I returned as it did when I left.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, right near the JR station. There's an observation deck and a hot spring bath on the top floor. The view from the observation deck is the same as the JR observation deck, and I highly recommend checking it out during the day. Also, be aware that both the observation deck and hot spring bath are closed in the mornings.
BbonjourmonsieurThe Japanese-style tatami room was very distinctive, and the hotel's facilities and equipment were well-maintained. The large public bath operates on a daily rotation for men and women, and the outdoor hot spring pools on each side are different. So, you'd need to stay at least two nights to experience the full range of hot springs. The meals didn't change at all over several days, so I quickly got tired of them.
