Overall, I'm very satisfied, and it's conveniently located near the station. Facilities: They have everything you need, plus a large public bath. You can even enjoy a popsicle after your soak! Cleanliness: Good. I stayed for four nights, and the towels were changed daily. Environment: Quiet, with no noisy surroundings. Service: All very good, with polite greetings every time I entered and exited. Their breakfast is excellent too! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Sapporo.

This hotel is excellent overall, with a superb location just a 4-minute walk from Susukino subway station. All facilities and services are satisfying, and the environment is exceptionally clean. The hotel features separate floors for men and women (including separate elevators and floors), significantly enhancing privacy and safety. The self-check-in system is also very convenient, minimizing unnecessary human contact. ☃️ The hotel provides disposable slippers daily. Although there's no daily room cleaning service, it doesn't affect the overall experience at all. I stayed in a deluxe room on the 7th floor. Guests on this floor are generally very considerate, always tidying up after using public facilities, making the entire floor feel clean and comfortable. The bed in the deluxe room is spacious and can comfortably accommodate two people. The only minor drawback is that you have to continuously press a button to keep the shower running; it doesn't provide continuous water flow once turned on. You need to press it every few tens of seconds, which is a bit inconvenient. 🥹

The basics of all city hotels - location, location, location..... !!! And Hotel Stream is smacked in the heart of everything Sapporo has to offer unless you prefer a quieter and calmer spot then this hotel is NOT for you. Rooms are pretty standard in terms of size and amenities, it's, quiet, and great for city strolling. If your intention is to use this hotel as your base to do day trips to Furano & Biei, The Hill of the Buddha Moai, or the renowned Otaru (which unfortunately isn't that muchl unless you're a die hard music box & glass making fan) this is your BEST CHOICE until Hyatt House opens in Oct 2026 (a bird told me - for those Globalist out there) . Oh... a BIG tip by the way (if you've been reading till this point: request for a room with a direct view of the Sapporo's ferries wheel (not that I am a fan lol) or the view of the Nikka advertisement on my attached photo - they are worth it. It's amazing to sleep with such stunning view and wake up to one..... (check out my photos taken from my room) In case you wonder if that pic of me by the glass overlooking thr Nikka ad sign - that's the main breakfast restaurant where you will be having your daily breakfast but u have to get there early to book that seat, otherwise sit through breakfast till they close and then u get to take this photo for as long as you please...... Ok ok ok... i know I'm a little long winded. But hey... oh yeah... u need to know that you can take a limousine bus from CTS (Chitose International Airport) to Susukino which takes about 50mins on way for JPY1500 per person. Easy weasy and the from the bus stop in susukino where most will disembark - it's only a 5min walk to Hotel Stream which ISN'T that obvious as the hotel sign is NOT exactly on the building. You have to look out for a building that reads ”Coco-something” (ops forgotten the name of the building) and the hotel lobby is located on the 7th floor of that building which also house a shopping center, movie theater and numerous restaurants. If you're srill reading this - give me a like already and don't be stingy with that click will ya? Lol. Up next - I'll bee reviewing my hotel in Noboribetsu, Lake Toya, Hakodate and eventually Waldorf Astoria Osaka. Watch out for my space k. Until next time, may you be well and may the force be with you.

This is a chain hotel, roughly 3-star plus quality. I've stayed at their Nagoya location before, so I chose it again for my trip to Sapporo. The room in Sapporo was significantly larger than the one in Nagoya. However, for women's skincare products, they aren't self-service; you need to request them from the front desk. The location is pretty good, with popular attractions accessible on foot or by subway. It's a solid, reliable choice – you can't go wrong with it. The breakfast was quite rich, though the one I had later in Hakodate was even more impressive. By the way, the Patagonia outlets across the street have closed, so don't be misled by older reviews.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's so convenient with plenty of food, drink, and entertainment options nearby. Susukino shopping street is just a five-minute walk away, which is super handy. Plus, the subway station is right downstairs to the right, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. There's even a Lawson and a 7-Eleven downstairs. It's just too convenient! I'll definitely be staying here again when I go back to Hokkaido!

Good location, 10mins walk to shopping district, easily access to places. There’s a train station exit in front of hotel as well. Room size pretty small, have to keep luggage under bed, there’s hot bath in the hotel roof, able to enjoy soaking in hot bath under cold weather, but you have to bring your own towel from the room. Try to avoid peak hour, I went at 6+7 is quite empty, however after dinner time 9+10 is very crowded. Breakfast is not as good as the photos shown in hotel website, but still have good varieties to choose from. Able to rent different kind of facilities, eg air humidifier, hair curler etc

It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station and a 10-15 minute walk from Tanukikoji Shopping Street and Sapporo TV Tower. The room is reasonably arranged and quite spacious for Japan. It has a microwave, refrigerator, washer-dryer combo, and electric stove, which is very convenient. Disposable slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, razor, and laundry detergent are provided, but no skincare products. There are also free hot and cold tea and coffee in the lobby. The hotel does not offer breakfast. If you need your room cleaned, just put the magnetic sign on the door before 11:00 AM. If you don't need cleaning, leave your trash outside the door, and you can pick up trash bags and clean towels in the lobby. The girl at the front desk who wears glasses is not very helpful; she's not proactive and doesn't smile. The tall girl has a very sweet smile, and the two boys are also nice. Overall, the room rate of around 300 RMB is very reasonable, and I would recommend it.

Perfect location—super convenient! It’s only a 1–3 minute walk to Susukino and Hosui‑Susukino subway stations, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, the airport bus stop, and the bus to Sapporo Station. The hotel has a traditional style and offers a reasonable price, plus free breakfast, which is a nice bonus. The staff are polite, and although the room is quite small, it has everything you need. The outside view faces an alleyway, so there isn’t much natural light, but it wasn’t a big issue for us. You can store your baggage in the lockers, which is very convenient. Do note that there may be some noise from outside the room. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay!

This hotel is truly worth recommending! The front desk service was friendly and efficient, and both check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation, and the attached parking lot is super handy if you're driving. The biggest surprise was the cafe on the first floor; the coffee was rich and aromatic, a must-have every morning to start the day right. Overall, the service and location are both great. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Pretty good! It's really close to the subway station, and we had a great view of Nakajima Park's snowy scenery from our window. The triple room was also very spacious, offering excellent value for money. There was a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was a breeze. Plus, the lobby connects directly to a Lawson convenience store, which was incredibly convenient!

We stayed in the Hollywood Twin Room, and although it was a bit small, it was incredibly clean and well-arranged! The hotel offers excellent value for money overall. Downstairs at check-in, they provide complimentary toiletries, and even mouthwash, toner, lotion, and makeup remover! I'd give the hotel facilities a perfect score; there's a self-service laundry room, ice machine, microwave, refrigerator, and even a dedicated smoking room. My favorite part is the 24-hour free coffee, and the quality is absolutely top-notch! 😌

Location is good. It is close to the central area. Room is spacious enough for 2. Although you cannot open 2 luggages at the same time. There’s a mini fridge and a kettle. Free coffee and tea. Also you can borrow hair curler and iron on the front desk. They also offer other things you can borrow like nail cutter and others. They change towels everyday. But room cleaning is not allowed until your 4th night. The view is nice too. Here’s a photo taken from our room.

I didn't give you the password at the common entrance and I couldn't contact Trip.com. I couldn't help but ask other residents to find out. I don't know what happened on a hot day. It's really the worst response. The hostel itself is mediocre I don't want to use it again.

You can find this hostel by typing ”theatel” into Google Maps, and the navigation is pretty accurate. It's located on the third floor of a building with two entrances. One entrance has ”F-45” written on it, and there's a floor directory next to it (with the hostel's name listed on the 3rd-floor section). The other entrance has a huge 'egg' shaped sculpture in front of it. Near this egg sculpture, you can see the famous landmark beer billboard (featuring an old foreign man's face). You can also see the hostel's name when you enter the building from behind the egg sculpture. Take the elevator to the third floor, and after exiting, turn right to find the front desk. Sometimes the front desk is unattended, but there's a tablet nearby with a QR code. Just scan it with your phone's camera to self-check-in (you'll need to enter a four-digit reservation code). The female-only section has a code-locked door (I received the code on my phone during self-check-in, and also in the email I provided when I made the reservation). After entering the code, there are two more doors: one leads to the accommodation area (my capsule bed was very clean and soft, came with two hangers, a bath towel, a blackout curtain at the entrance, a power outlet by the headboard, an overhead storage cabinet, a box of tissues, and a pair of indoor slippers at the foot of the bed). The other door leads to the washroom area (which I thought was cleverly designed). The innermost part has several shower stalls + changing areas, all equipped with shower gel and shampoo. Outside of that, there are a few coin-operated washing machines, and further out, two rows of sinks. There are stools under the sinks, and hand towels and hairdryers on top. Next to the sinks, in a separate area, are several toilets. The entire washroom area was very clean, and I actually found the toilet paper quality to be quite good. Perhaps influenced by the widely held belief about 'quiet Japanese society,' the entire hostel was very quiet. I booked and paid in advance through an online platform, so I didn't have to pay anything extra from check-in to check-out. On the wall above the foot of my capsule bed, there was a 'check-in guide' (with the Wi-Fi name and password, and a check-out QR code). You need to check out before 10 AM by scanning the code and confirming. I was very satisfied with my stay.

Here's an exterior shot of the hotel, taken from my room window. Its fantastic location, close to both the subway station and a commercial street, offers a peaceful retreat amidst the urban buzz. While the rooms are typically Japanese — compact and exquisitely designed — I believe it absolutely holds its own against even top Chinese hotels like Atour in all other aspects. The room rates also reflect the caliber of guests it attracts. Both the Western buffet breakfast and the complimentary afternoon tea were quite impressive.

We were a party of two, and the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The front desk was great, letting us check in half an hour early. The breakfast was delicious, and one of the staff members spoke Chinese. On the downside, there's no TV, so it's quiet enough to hear noise from the hallway, which means the soundproofing isn't great. Also, a sewage-like smell occasionally wafted from the bathroom drain.

I am extremely disappointed with the service and the misleading room information provided by this property. I specifically booked a twin room with two double beds. However, upon arrival, the room only had one double bed. This is completely different from what was advertised and what I paid for. When I contacted the property to raise this issue, they insisted that the room has two double beds and can fit four people. In reality, there was only one double bed and a sofa. Later, the person in charge claimed the sofa could be used as a sofa bed. This is not the same as having two double beds. This is misleading advertising and very unprofessional. If the room only has one double bed and one sofa bed, it should be clearly stated. Customers should not have to find out the truth only after arriving. Very poor communication and unacceptable service. I would not recommend this property to others.

The location is fantastic! It's very close to the airport shuttle, Tanukikoji Market, and the subway station. There's also a Lawson convenience store right across the street. Overall, it's excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sapporo. The price is cheap, but it doesn't include breakfast. The room was clean, and there was hot water. I'd give it a 9/10, just a minor point that the hotel is a bit old.
