Amazing
GGuest UserA very comfortable stay. I was in a Single Rm on d 13th flr. Super quiet at the end of the hallway. Window facing another building wall, no view. Comfortable bed and PJ set. No daily housekeeping provided but they'd leave a bag of towel, new PJ set and stuffs hanging on your door in the morning. Early check-in would cost 1000¥ per hour till the official 3【pm check-in time. I opt to leave my luggage in their storage rm, after I checked in around 4:30p, my bags already in my rm. Professional and polite staffs in general. I took the airport bus, but on my day of arrival, bus companies not dropping off passengers infront of the hotel due to severe snowstorm 2 days prior. And they also not picking up infront of d hotel on the wkend and final day of d Sapporo Winter Festival. Nearest airport bus stop would be Odori Park or Grand Sapporo Hotel. It's about less than 10mins walk. If it's during winter with snow on d ground, the Grand Sapporo Hotel bus stop would actually be a better route. I took the Odori Park route and was a bit tedious. Hotel is attentive to amenities details eg: charging cables of different ports ( type-C, Apple, usb-A etc...) available in the rm; utensils available at each floor's elevator lobby, free tea/coffee and extra toiletries at Lobby. Coin laundry(cash only) is 300¥ for each load of washing ( laundry detergent will automatically add in) and 100¥ for 30mins dry. Coin exchange avail at Check-in desk. Great location to Odori Park just across the street and plenty of choices for food + shopping. Rm facing the park during Winter Festival might be noisy due to stage performances and safety announcements or whatnot from the megaphone. Loves the onsen; Female and male has each of their own sections. Closed for cleaning 10a-2p daily, but daily operation is 2p-2a. Delicious mini fruit popsicles/ ice cream available to onsen users. No mini-fridge nor microwave in the rm. Breakfast buffet cost 2300¥/pax with mostly cold dishes, hot food only a handful of choices - wished could be more though; but they do serve wine (red+ white). Will stay again.

Great
GGuest UserTravelodge is indeed suitable in terms of location, cleanliness and service and would be a great choice for couples and family. However, here are some pointers the hotel and visitors should note:
1. The room space is limited and if you have more than 2 large luggage , proper management is required during your stay.
2. The daily buffet breakfast is seamlessly great with a variety and good service however throughout our 8 day stay the menu never changed - a minus ; suggestion: the hotel could change menu every alternate days or theee days would be best. There are many other fascinating Japanese food to share which could be included in the breakfast that would also impress the guests.
3.Only 2 days room cleaning service was given for our 8 day stay; and we could choose the 2days- in average 3 days once . Suggestion: hotel could provide either daily or at least alternate day cleaning service - to change towels and to empty the overflowing garbage plus to check on the necessities. Though fresh towels could be requested daily yet it’d be much more convenient if it is fixed plus the 2 small bins provided tend to get full fast.
Anyway, I did enjoy my stay at Travelodge apart from all the above . Hope the hotel management could look into the issues above to gain more satisfied guests.

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to the JR station. This makes it really easy whether you're coming from New Chitose Airport or heading out to explore other places. For example, it was a breeze to get to Otaru the next day.
Odori Park is also within walking distance, though Susukino is a bit further out. This area isn't overly crowded with tourists. If you're looking for restaurants, you'll generally need to head into the JR station.
The JR station is quite large and includes the Stellar Place shopping mall. I had some delicious grilled meat rice and omurice there, and there are plenty of dining options to choose from.
The hotel facilities are generally good, and the room was clean and tidy. Soundproofing is average; you can hear the train passing by a little, but it wasn't really disruptive. The bed and pillows were very comfortable for me.
On the ground floor, there are self-service tea bags, coffee, and toiletries. When I checked in, the small toiletries kits were out, and there was a note saying to pick them up from the front desk staff.
Overall, I think this place is great for a one or two-night stay. However, if you're looking for more convenient shopping and dining, I personally would recommend staying closer to Susukino. It's livelier there, with more restaurants, shops, and duty-free stores.
GGuest UserIt took about 40 minutes to walk from Sapporo Station, pulling luggage in the snow! The navigation led us to an entrance where the snow was very deep and hard to walk through. Actually, the front desk is on the opposite side of that entrance. I'd recommend using the entrance near 7-Eleven, as it's much more convenient! At night, it was very easy to get back to the hotel from Tanukikoji 6-chome, just a 15-minute walk. When checking out, I discovered there's a subway station nearby, which is super convenient for getting to Sapporo Station in just one stop!

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe room isn't huge, but there's just enough space by the bathroom door for two suitcases. To fully open them and pack, you'll need to use the bed, which is typical for Japanese hotels, so it's acceptable.
It's a bit of a walk to Susukino subway station, a few blocks away, and it's even harder in the snow. I had to go to the Susukino airport bus stop, which is only a few hundred meters away, but with snow and luggage, it would have taken about 40 minutes to walk. I ended up taking a taxi from the hotel entrance, costing less than 100 RMB, and got there in just a few minutes, which was very convenient.
Overall, the price was reasonable, around 400+ RMB per night.

MmomoyeoHotel looks brand new, dimmer for bed room lights and bathroom lights were nice touches. It's a walk from sapporo station but all underground so in winter or rain it is not a big deal. Exit at a lift on the left after miredo. You should pass a montbell store on the right. Some renovation going on so Exit 7 was not available. If you were taking the Chuo bus to Niseko the stop at Sapporo Grand Hotel is nearest and just a stone throw away. Rooms are Japanese petite. Also a short 15 mins walk to Odori station.
CCenttBest for travelers prioritizing excellent cleanliness, great facilities (especially the sauna), and easy access to the Susukino area of Sapporo.
👍 The Good (Highlights):
Unique Amenities: The hotel features a highly popular sauna on the top floor (not a traditional onsen) and offers free miso ramen in the evenings (usually 9 PM to 11 PM).
Cleanliness & Style: Rooms are consistently rated as impeccably clean, modern, and stylishly designed.
Location: Conveniently located near the Hosui-Susukino Subway Station (Exit 6 is often mentioned), making it easy to access the main Susukino district, Nijo Market, and the Sapporo TV Tower.
Staff: The staff are very kind and helpful.
👎 The Not-So-Good (Drawbacks):
Lighting: Some guests have noted that the lighting in the rooms can be slightly dark, which might be inconvenient for tasks like applying makeup.
Dining: The immediate surrounding area right outside the hotel may have fewer restaurants or convenience stores compared to the absolute center of Susukino.
Verdict:
This hotel is a fantastic choice if you appreciate modern style, top-tier cleanliness, and are eager to take advantage of the unique sauna and free nightly ramen. Its slightly quieter location is balanced by excellent subway access.

YYoYo_sachetAlthough it's 700 meters from Susukino Station, dragging luggage through several intersections and streets was tough, especially with the snowy, slippery roads – it was easy to fall.
The disposable slippers in the room were very thin and only replaced every three days during cleaning. There was no bottled water or tea bags in the room, though there was a water dispenser on the floor. On the first day, we got free coffee packets, but after that, you had to buy them at the downstairs cafe.
Even though the room had air conditioning, the bathroom had no heating, and the room's heating didn't reach the bathroom. This made showering really cold, which was the most unbearable part.
On the plus side, there was a washing machine with a drying function, and we got one laundry pod per day. A fridge, microwave, and induction hob were also provided.

GGuest UserThe hotel was in a good location near subway Toho line exit 21 or opposite street exit 24 with elevator access.
Check in process really simple using the machine with passport scanner and room card issued for each person. Staff greeted us nicely and explained the room cleaning schedule (once every 3 day is must and optional (eco cleaning) for other days.). You can get all amenity from the front desk including pajamas.
Hotel was standard chain hotel with normal size Japanese Room fit enough with 2 people with limited space for luggage repack. Luggage can be stored under bed so no worries about luggage space. There is a lack of a small table for the bed side but we just slightly pull out the mini
fridge as a small table. Bed was hard but we prefer that way.
Free breakfast provided everyday during the stay on lobby from 0630 to 0930. Menu slightly change daily but consistently with rice, bread, yogurt and tea rice. Breakfast drink have hot tea, yogurt drink (Hokkaido milk yogurt drink. Highly recommend) and fruit drink. Coffee machine served from 0600 to 0000 daily.
Vending machine for drink available at lobby but we prefer go to nearby seicomart to buy stuff. Microwave also available on lobby.
Overall I will rate as 7/10 , better than average and best cost per stay if you use city subway alot
EExpat EDventuresOverall, the stay was comfortable with several thoughtful touches, though there were some design drawbacks. The beds were soft and comfortable, and it was especially convenient that the sofa bed had already been made up for my daughter when we arrived. Toiletries were provided at check-in, which was a nice and practical detail. The concierge staff were consistently polite and helpful, and I appreciated the flavoured water always available in the lobby. The location is also very convenient and made getting around easy.
However, the room itself is quite small. The walkway between the door and the beds is extremely narrow, and one side of the bed sits directly against the wall, making it difficult to get out at night without disturbing your partner.
My biggest concern was the onsen changing area. When I entered, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Drying my hair there was unpleasant, and when I asked the front desk, I was told it was a designated smoking area. I found this surprising and disappointing, as it’s an enclosed space everyone must pass through to access the baths. Especially since the bath was lovely itself.
Overall, the hotel offers comfort, convenience, and friendly service, but the room layout and smoking policy around the onsen detract from the experience.
