Romantic Hotels in Kunming

The location is excellent, right by Cuihu Lake. The room was indeed small, but that's understandable given the prime real estate around the lake. The in-room amenities are all high-end brands like Duravit, which shows the designer's attempt to compensate for the small size. The bedside power strip and reading light design are also quite clever. The service was great; the front desk staff were enthusiastic and even helped with laundry and promptly mailed back an item I left in the room. My only minor complaint is that the lobby can get quite noisy during lunch and dinner service. I feel for the ladies working at the front desk who have to patiently assist guests and answer questions in such an environment – you all are doing a fantastic job!

The hotel environment is quite good, right near Dianchi Lake (part of the reason I booked this hotel). During the National Day holiday, it wasn't overly crowded, and both breakfast and the dinner buffet were delicious. The housekeeping auntie was extremely, extremely responsible! Her service was top-notch. The concierge staff were also excellent; they could deliver meals to the room. Because I caught a cold due to the temperature drop in Yunnan these past two days, they even sent ginger tea. And since my flight was a bit later, they accommodated our request for a late check-out. Overall, besides the TV being a bit small, there's really nothing else to complain about. I've stayed in many good hotels, some even more expensive and with more prominent brands, but they weren't as good as this one. This hotel truly impressed me, please keep up the great work!

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here, but whenever I have a late arrival or early departure flight from Kunming Changshui Airport, this is always my go-to choice. The airport shuttle service is now a scheduled bus, which is much safer, more organized, and convenient. A big thanks to Li and Yan at the front desk for their clear and easy-to-understand answers when I called about the shuttle. They were also super thoughtful during check-in, reminding me about the next day's departure shuttle schedule (to make sure I didn't miss it). This hotel offers incredible value for money!

What impressed me most about this hotel was the excellent service; it's rare to find a place where everyone's service is top-notch. The hotel's hot springs are superb, and the private bath was so comfortable. Having a private bath twice a day meant there was no need to visit the public ones. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was unique and delicious. I especially want to commend the butlers; they truly put the guests first, were proactive, and acted swiftly! One rainy night, a butler helped an elderly person down the mountain, showing complete dedication and meticulous care throughout. I'm incredibly grateful! All in all, this is a hotel that makes you want to return again and again!

Pretty good! It's less than a 15-minute drive to the airport, and they offer airport shuttle service. The best part is the amazing food nearby. Every time I used to fly into Changshui Airport, I'd stay at hotels right next to it where there was nothing to eat or drink. This time, I finally remembered to find a place with some life around it. The Cross-the-Bridge Rice Noodles restaurant near the hotel is absolutely delicious and open 24/7, so you can get a bite anytime. Anyone staying here has to try it!

I really loved the hot spring at this hotel, highly recommend it! The pools on the third floor are very exquisite, not crowded, and clean. It was so relaxing to soak in the hot spring after a bike ride – really helped with the fatigue! My best friend and I also enjoyed a hot pot dinner at the hotel, which was a rare and much-needed relaxation. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends! The scenery downstairs is also incredibly beautiful!

The hotel is very near to the airport. It's about 7km. We stayed here for 6 nights. Room and bathroom are clean. Room is big. Staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is just walking distance to muslim's restaurant. There are a few muslim restaurants around the area and just a walking distance from the hotel. There are also a few supermarkets if you would like to have snacks or looking for souvenirs such as flower cakes, tea or coffee. There is a shuttle from the airport to this hotel. On the way to airport from the hotel, we took Didi discount express car which cost you less than 20 yuan including toll fare.

Landed at Changshui Airport late at night. There's a shuttle bus service that picks up and drops off for several hotels, offering both airport pick-up and drop-off. However, there are fixed departure times, so you need to confirm with the front desk in advance. It's really convenient if you have an early flight. The hotel has a nice-looking small garden in the back. Eating and drinking options nearby are a bit limited, so you mostly have to order takeout. But overall, the experience and value for money are excellent! 👍

Facilities: Very stylish decor, great atmosphere. Cleanliness: Very clean! Environment: The surrounding pedestrian street has beautiful lights and architecture, and it's super close to the Seven-Arch Floating Bridge, making it convenient for watching seagulls!! Service: We had a lot of luggage, and the staff helped us with our luggage both when we arrived and left, which was very thoughtful. Pet-friendly, my rabbit had a great time! I brought my own cage to avoid making the guesthouse dirty. Canned Roasted Milk Tea/Yunnan Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles/Choose one: The milk tea was delicious, with a strong aroma of rose and tea.

For foreign tourists who want to visit the Karst Stone scenic areas, ie Stone Forest, the hotel is just a short walk down the road. Breakfast is buffet style and good. Meals can also be purchased. Locationwise necessitates the use of a vehicle to get to the hotel. Trip.com needs to update the hotel's name on its site. The Hotel's name is not Shilinxuan Holiday Inn. The name or names on the signage is Sloane Place and Holiday Inn Bosheng Shilin.
