Mountain View Hotels in Kunming

The staff are very accommodating. Our flight at 1:00am but check in was at 14:00 and we were very late. The staff were really friendly and efficient with the checking in process. The 2 receptionist spoke English. The room is spacious with great amenities and Dyson hair dryer. Water and rose moon cakes were provided on upon our welcome. The AC is great, the shower water pressure is amazing. The bed is comfy and the pillows are to great. The breakfast is good and the best part is that it’s open from 7:30am -12midday. I couldn’t believe it myself! The food is good with a range of rice porridge, fresh fruit, noodles, boiled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, youtiao (dough stick bread), vegetables, cereal and a range of desserts. They have a selection of coffee, tea and juices. There’s also a self service laundry area and open roof top area with a pool.

Lots of cheap and delicious eateries nearby since the hotel is located in the university district. Hotel also provides shuttle service to and fro Kunming South Railway Station every 15mins. Food is buffet-style and has quite a wide variety. Room was clean and spacious as well. Only qualm was that hotel was not able to help us arrange for transport to the airport (at our own expense), nor did they offer any alternatives/options, and we had to figure this out ourselves.

Our flight arrived Kunming 2am, we choose this hotel because of the airport transfer and reasonable price. We contacted them one day before departure for the pick up, their staff very friendly and give us the driver contact so we can communicate with each other on actual day. The overall environment was good, the hygiene was good, the room is clean. Xiaodu is smart 😄. Although the bedding is hard but the price is reasonable with breakfast. The only one star I did not give on service mainly because the front staff did not smile and greet at us during our check in. Definitely I will choose to stay in this hotel for my future trip.

The hotel is a good choice for travellers by plane. There are pickups and transfers from and to the airport every hour. The price is very good. But there's one thing I'd like to complain, cigarette smell as I am very sensitive to smell. Still recommended, though.

Very good hotel, will choose next time. This is the first time I stayed, very satisfied, talk about the advantages: (1) The space is very large, the room is about 30 square meters, very wide, will not make people have a narrow sense of oppression, for people dragging large bags and small suitcases is very friendly. (2) The relevant facilities are good, the hot water is sufficient and the bath is convenient. The shower room, toilet room and sink are three different functional spaces, and the three are separated, which is great. (3) You can watch TV. Now many hotel TVs are furnished, but this hotel TV can be opened to watch various channels. This alone is better than many hotels. (4) Hygiene standards, sheets, towels are very clean, the slippers provided are also individually packaged after disinfection, which is very friendly for people who don't like to wear disposable paper slippers that are easy to slip. (5) The location is very good to find, the subway station is about 50 meters away, it is very convenient to take the subway to do things. (6) The check-out time is default to 2 pm, and people who are very tired on business trips can take a lunch break and check out. This is also quite good.

Arrived late at 2am and thankful for the clean and comfortable room for a short transit. Free airport pickup and drop off is a big bonus. Thank you to the front desk staff for being very helpful in coordinating the different pick up time for me and my friend, guiding us to the pick up point patiently. Even at 3am, they serve with a smile. Thank you.

Nice resort look. Room had a breezy balcony, no AC was needed in early September, day or night. Short walk to the Dianchi lake. Bus station is across the road with access to many busses. Take bus 44, 2 stations to Subway Yuhucun station and line 5 (about 1 mile from the hotel), Rent a bike (70 Yuan/day), Beautiful ride doing the north loop of the lake, about 20 Km 2 hours, most of the path is wide, dedicated bike trail, only the last 2/3 Km is a bit tricky (going CCW) Just outside the hotel people are selling tickets to the Xishan, West Hill top (bus and cable car ride for 90 Yuan/person, about a half-day trip) Ms Moon with ctrip at the front desk was very helpful.

Hygiene: No problem, two alcohol cotton pads are provided on the toilet, which is quite detailed. Service: The overall service is more concerned with humanistic care than the high-end international chain brands. Breakfast is also OK, meeting simple business requirements. There are welcome fruits after check-in, free mini bar, rich categories, bottled tea, brewed tea, drip coffee, a bottle of beer (I forgot others), these two services can reach the international five-star level. Before check-in, there is a phone call to inform the parking lot address, and after arriving at the store, hot tea is delivered and the room type is upgraded (although it was not informed at check-in, I found it after I moved in). But there are two suggestions: 1. Since good night oat milk is provided, it is recommended that guests who have not checked in at a certain time in the evening can contact to confirm whether the guests need to provide it, and reserve it in advance. 2. It is obvious that the guests have drunk alcohol before arriving at the store. It is recommended to be more discerning and prepare honey lemon tea for them directly, instead of standardized ordinary welcome hot tea. This detail should be the difference between Atour and other international chain hotels, but it is not done. Environment: Located opposite the popular Yuantong Temple, it is a good choice for those who love to burn incense. The upgraded room has a courtyard, and the environment is better. But the sound insulation is not good. At 6:30, the neighbor started to use water and open the courtyard door. The noise was very loud and I was woken up, which was very unpleasant. Facilities: The bedding is really very comfortable. The bed is large, with moderate hardness and softness. It is not too soft to cause deep sinking. The mattress is very soft and comfortable. There are many styles of pillows, the bedding fabric is firm and soft, and the skin feels good. The overall feeling is better than most international five-star hotels. This is a big thumbs up! The facilities in the room basically meet the requirements. It would be better if two cotton pads could be added to the care set. There is no parking lot downstairs in the hotel, which is a big deduction. After parking the car, you have to drag your luggage for about four or five minutes, and you have to cross the road. It is very inconvenient, which is a big deduction, enough to cause you not to choose this hotel next time.

The first thing I thought of when I came to Yunnan was Kunming Dounan Flower Market💐You can take the subway from the airport🚇 When I arrived at night, I simply found a designer hotel nearby It is within walking distance from the flower market🚶 You can also see Dianchi Lake from a distance in the room! When you arrive at night and check in, the housekeeper will send a set of refreshments to the room My boyfriend and I love the hot flower cakes~ There are also Tremella and Pear Soup and fruits that moisturize the lungs and reduce dryness🍊 I also asked in advance in the morning and it was delivered to the room on time in the morning Full of details, so considerate! The room facilities are complete The toiletries are all individually packaged and smell good😌 Smart TV, humidifier, hair dryer...a series of them are all equipped👌 The service is in place, and the experience is really good!

Very good hotel! The location is very good, close to the airport highway, and convenient for travel. The room is well designed, the facilities are complete, and the bedding is soft. The staff is very friendly, and I would like to praise Bonnie's service, always with a smile. I had a very comfortable stay here and will come again in the future
