I specifically took time off to stay at this wellness hotel, and as soon as I walked in, the soothing scent of herbs and wood instantly calmed my frayed nerves. The overall decor is minimalist and zen-like, and the common areas are quiet and elegant. The hotel offers various wellness programs like yoga, meditation, and head therapy. The package includes free access to these activities, and there's no hard-selling involved. The soundproofing in the room is excellent, and the bedding is soft; it was completely quiet and peaceful at night. The staff spoke softly and gently, providing thoughtful and detailed service throughout my stay. Here, you don't have to rush through an itinerary; you can just unwind. All the stress from my week of work just melted away. It's truly perfect for a relaxing and restorative getaway.

Location is a big plus here — right next to the convention center, a shopping mall with tons of dining and shopping options, and DiDaDi outdoor theme park is literally just outside the hotel. The kids loved it and kept themselves busy the whole time. Rooms were great and the outdoor bathtub was a nice bonus. We had a minor hiccup with the AC going out overnight, but the manager was super responsive and got us moved to a new room without any hassle since the technician wasn’t around over the weekend. Really appreciated that. Free breakfast and supper are both included, and honestly both were really good — plenty of variety and everything tasted great. Oh, and don’t sleep on the hotel’s rooftop photo shoot. The views up there are stunning and it’s a proper must-do during your stay. All in all, a really enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Location and Transportation: The hotel is about 5 kilometers from Changshui Airport. After exiting Gate 8 on the airport's arrival level, there's a shuttle bus that takes you directly to the hotel, with departures every 20 minutes, which is quite convenient. Front Desk and Service: The front desk staff were warm and professional, offering many thoughtful tips. They even provided complimentary welcome fruit and an extra breakfast. Hardware and Facilities: The bathroom features a wet-dry separation, and both the toilet and shower areas are very spacious. The shower had excellent water pressure. The room's amenities are top-notch, and the actual facilities perfectly match the promotional pictures. Soundproofing: I'm always particular about room soundproofing, and the hotel's sound insulation was excellent. Overall, highly recommended!

A really nice downtown hotel. The front desk staff were super helpful, and they even welcomed us with flower pastries. The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Breakfast was incredibly varied, and they even offered a late-night snack! Their rice noodles were just as good, if not better, than what you'd find outside. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir, which was a lovely touch!

Facilities: While not the most modern, the facilities are incredibly practical. The self-service laundry, in particular, is a huge plus for travelers. The bedding, as always, is super comfortable, ensuring guests get a great night's sleep! Service: The service was definitely the highlight. The front desk kindly upgraded my room for free and was very accommodating to all my requests. The housekeeping staff were also very thoughtful.

The suite has its own private hot spring, which is very clean and offers great privacy, allowing for two soaks. The hotel's shuttle bus can take you to the restaurant, infinity pool, and public hot spring, which is very comfortable in this weather, and the kids loved it. The highest restaurant, Cloud Top, offers à la carte dining; their stir-fried bitter greens with red beans were delicious – I've never had them prepared that way before. The breakfast buffet is also served there, and the service is great. The rice noodles were much better than the takeout we had the day before. In the evening, you can also watch the sunset near the infinity pool. Overall, this place is definitely worth staying at. I originally wanted to extend my stay for another night, but the hotel was fully booked, so I'll have to come back next time~

We had a great one-night stay. The room was clean and spacious, located in a quiet gated community. We arrived around noon and were warmly welcomed by the owner. At the gate, we showed our booking details to security, then walked a short distance to the unit with our luggage. We enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the in-house chef, and the owner also made us excellent, good quality coffee. The house is very close to Dianchi Lake, just a few steps from the gate. We were able to walk around the lake and even took a cableway across to the Western Hills (Must do). The lake area was also lovely for a nighttime walk. Overall, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We wish we had stayed longer. The owner and staff were very friendly and made our stay even more pleasant.😊

The room is pretty decent and big. There's just a bit of noise as the room I got is next to a room being renovated, but it is only during the daytime. The best thing for me aside from the beautiful view, big room, and big bed is the smart toilet (I specifically check for places with bidet for my stays, and this place got a high-tech one). The hotel and cold water are also great. I appreciate that the toilet, sink, and shower are separate. The staff are all kind and helpful. I got an issue with my DiDi account and need to book one for my scheduled tour, and the staff on duty gladly helped me book one paying for it and said I could just settle the payment later, and even escorted me to the DiDi and let the driver know I don't speak the language and to get me safely to the location. The other staff also helped me with my WeChat, which helped a lot during my whole stay in China. The only con that I can say (if you are specific with location) is that it is not that close with the usual tourist spots like the Kunming Old Street, but it is close to the South Railway station (Kunmingnan). This is not a big con for me as I actually enjoyed the nearby malls and alleys. This is one of the good stuff here as well. It is on top of a mall, and just across the place is also a place to go shopping (for clothes, food, restaurants). There's a big supermarket/department store in the next door mall too. It also gets lively at night. Overall, personally, I find this a great place to stay in Kunming.

This hotel is incredibly convenient for catching high-speed trains or using the subway. There are plenty of snack options nearby, and directly opposite the hotel is Bailongtan Park, which offers beautiful scenery and fresh air—perfect for an evening stroll after dinner. The service was excellent; they even helped us with our luggage because we had so much, and they recommended a fantastic mushroom hotpot restaurant. The room's cleanliness was exceptional, truly exceeding our expectations. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely choose this place again if we have the chance!
