Mountain View Room Hotels in Kunming

The room is awesome and everything is well thought out except there is no bidet. The staff Ryan was very helpful and assisted us with many things like transport and even provided us with zip lock bags. His service was outstanding. Breakfast was good too.. they have free washing machine and dryer and their staff will even assist to help you fold. Will return again to stay.

I booked this hotel as it is very near to Kunming South Railway Station. Noemally I would like Crown Plaza , but I found this hotel better. I came around mid night, mainly because i took the wrong exit from the metro station Kunming South , it should be the west exit. The receptionnist gave me a small bag with food,. The room is spacious with large bathroom.All is there. The distance to railwaystation is little more than one kilometer . I would recommend to use this hotel if need take a train.

Late check out is max at 2 pm. Anything more will be additional night charge or 30¥ per hour from 12 noon max to 6 pm. Though i placed DND on the front door for resting, chambermaid still knocks on door waking me up at 3 pm to ask for cleaning. Too efficient. Front desk area all smoked up as usual. Shuttle to airport is indeed 10 mins away. Breakfast spread is acceptable. Behind the building, there are food eateries, mini marts, tea merchants trying their best to hype up the area.

The newly renovated room I stayed in had electric curtains and an electric toilet seat. The bathroom was quite large, there was a place to sit, and the water was very good. The hotel shares a small lake with the ethnic village. The environment is very good. The swimming pool is only 1.2 meters, and there were children learning to swim in the afternoon. I bought a hot spring voucher for 2 people, a total of 6 pools, and I couldn't choose them myself, I had to listen to the staff. It was still a bit cold to soak in the open air in early March. It is recommended to bring bottled water or a thermos cup when you take a hot spring bath. The hot spring will give you a pot of water and 2 cups, and the cups will have fallen leaves and dust after a while. The hot spring pools are all together, called the health center, and are generally very old. The hot spring water is very good, and it is changed for each guest. If you feel it is hot, you can ask the staff to open the cold water. The hotel breakfast is a BUG, ​​all carbohydrates and vegetables, no meat, and not delicious. It is the worst five-star hotel breakfast I have ever eaten. The location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the edge of Dianchi Lake. 15 minutes to the ethnic village. There is a bus terminal opposite the hotel, and there are buses to Kunming Station. For meals, I suggest you take a taxi to Park 1903. There are many choices and the night view is beautiful. There is really nothing good to eat nearby. They are all tourist meals. Don't hold your hopes. The last two pictures are of Park 1903.

One of the best services I've experienced in any hotel globally. And this is coming from someone who travels constantly and has lived in hotels for the last 2+ years. The team were always smiling, so friendly and approachable. I spoke to Miss Zhong Zhong often who was delightful, helping with anything and everything. The rooms are very clean, laundry room is very convenient and the garden restaurant was delightful. Delicious fresh food, and lots of vegetables that they grow themselves. It would be a pleasure to come back to this hotel.

Our flight arrived Kunming 2am, we choose this hotel because of the airport transfer and reasonable price. We contacted them one day before departure for the pick up, their staff very friendly and give us the driver contact so we can communicate with each other on actual day. The overall environment was good, the hygiene was good, the room is clean. Xiaodu is smart 😄. Although the bedding is hard but the price is reasonable with breakfast. The only one star I did not give on service mainly because the front staff did not smile and greet at us during our check in. Definitely I will choose to stay in this hotel for my future trip.

Our room was a two-story loft, with bathrooms and showers on both levels, making it perfect for family trips. Additionally, the 24-hour indoor hot spring was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was a standout, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options to suit all preferences.The staff were attentive, polite, and always ready to help, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel to any family visiting Kunming and look forward to staying there again in the future.

This stay was simply amazing! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt the meticulous service. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was efficient and fast. They also introduced the hotel's facilities and surrounding environment to me. The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, with plenty of hot water, complete toiletries, and a rich variety of breakfasts, combining Chinese and Western food, from fresh fruits, exquisite pastries to steaming hot noodles, to meet different tastes. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the service staff was also very enthusiastic. They replenished the dishes in time and kept the dining table clean, which made me start a full day! In general, this stay was very pleasant, and both the hardware facilities and software services were impeccable. I highly recommend it to everyone! Next time I go on a business trip or travel, I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Kunming

The hotel is clean and tidy, very close to the subway station. There are many snack streets and several shopping malls nearby. The breakfast is rich in variety. The surrounding environment is beautiful. There are many restaurants and supermarkets downstairs. Luggage can be stored for free

Hygiene: No problem, two alcohol cotton pads are provided on the toilet, which is quite detailed. Service: The overall service is more concerned with humanistic care than the high-end international chain brands. Breakfast is also OK, meeting simple business requirements. There are welcome fruits after check-in, free mini bar, rich categories, bottled tea, brewed tea, drip coffee, a bottle of beer (I forgot others), these two services can reach the international five-star level. Before check-in, there is a phone call to inform the parking lot address, and after arriving at the store, hot tea is delivered and the room type is upgraded (although it was not informed at check-in, I found it after I moved in). But there are two suggestions: 1. Since good night oat milk is provided, it is recommended that guests who have not checked in at a certain time in the evening can contact to confirm whether the guests need to provide it, and reserve it in advance. 2. It is obvious that the guests have drunk alcohol before arriving at the store. It is recommended to be more discerning and prepare honey lemon tea for them directly, instead of standardized ordinary welcome hot tea. This detail should be the difference between Atour and other international chain hotels, but it is not done. Environment: Located opposite the popular Yuantong Temple, it is a good choice for those who love to burn incense. The upgraded room has a courtyard, and the environment is better. But the sound insulation is not good. At 6:30, the neighbor started to use water and open the courtyard door. The noise was very loud and I was woken up, which was very unpleasant. Facilities: The bedding is really very comfortable. The bed is large, with moderate hardness and softness. It is not too soft to cause deep sinking. The mattress is very soft and comfortable. There are many styles of pillows, the bedding fabric is firm and soft, and the skin feels good. The overall feeling is better than most international five-star hotels. This is a big thumbs up! The facilities in the room basically meet the requirements. It would be better if two cotton pads could be added to the care set. There is no parking lot downstairs in the hotel, which is a big deduction. After parking the car, you have to drag your luggage for about four or five minutes, and you have to cross the road. It is very inconvenient, which is a big deduction, enough to cause you not to choose this hotel next time.
