Room is clean and comfortable for a good night sleep."

"I got an upgrade to an executive room on the top floor. The room was quite spacious, with a round table and two chairs. **Cleanliness:** The environment was clean and odorless. **Environment:** The hotel has a grand exterior and is close to the train station; I walked over in about 15 minutes. The restaurant on the first floor is large and elegant. There's a bar in the lobby offering coffee, cakes, and afternoon tea. The hotel also has a shop. **Service:** They provided welcome fruits and upgraded my room. I booked a package through Ctrip, which included a coconut chicken hotpot dinner (or I could choose the Jacaranda afternoon tea). When I checked out, they even gave me a souvenir photo frame, tamarind candy (which was delicious!), and hand warmers – very thoughtful! Overall, I felt it was great value for money. Highly recommend!"

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful, and the service was proactively attentive and thorough. They even provided a complimentary extra bed for our party of three. The room layout was very practical, with the walk-in closet seamlessly connecting to the bathroom. I especially loved the Kohler brushed faucets – definitely adding them to my wishlist! The hotel is directly connected to Plaza 66, which was incredibly convenient for picking up anything we forgot. Next door is the Stone House in Camellia Park, perfect for an afternoon unwind. And right across the street is the Kunming Flying Tigers Memorial Museum (a poignant reminder that not all things last forever…).

LLijuan  ♪(^∇^*) This was my second stay, and the hotel is fantastic. The overall service is great. I really like the Wild View room type; the design is excellent, with everything you could possibly need. The cleanliness is also top-notch. The hotel is right by the lake, offering fantastic views. The forest by the lake is like a huge natural oxygen bar, and there's also a large lawn. The hotel restaurant is superb; breakfast is very rich and delicious, and the regular meals are good too. It's also a great choice for families, with craft activities for kids. My only regret is that I haven't had a chance to experience the spa on either visit, but I'll definitely try it next time.

LliathanongA relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable. We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up. We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists. It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well. Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

AAliya0302It is definitely more wedding venue, more local oriented, very nice territory around, good for photoshoot and stuff , nice and friendly staff helped me a lot, but it was a bit confusing in general, like i booked it cause of hotsprings and outdoor pool, turns out you cannot use the outdoor pool and from all hot things was working only one stone bath. So basically we ended up in a very strange situation when 3 groups of people have or to wait in line to that bath or seat on each other. However Indoor pool was nice, big and clean, but bring your towel. The room itself is ...let's say not cosy and a lot reminded a changing room, probably cause of sink right next to the bed. So sum up, good place to have fun, massage, spa say, nice photos and so on, but maybe not a best place to stay for tourist.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed. First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs. The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options. A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests. A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level. Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

ZZuibangdedakeerOur trip was absolutely perfect this time! ✨ Before we even arrived, our butler, Clove, thoughtfully called ahead to ask about our preferences and even added us on WeChat to coordinate everything. Knowing we were traveling with a child and the whole family, she kindly upgraded our room for free and arranged for our family to have adjoining rooms, making our stay incredibly comfortable! She also meticulously wrote out a super practical, personalized guide to local attractions and dining spots. She even thoughtfully reminded us about the changeable weather, suggesting we bring umbrellas and light jackets, truly thinking of every detail. The room was already prepared and set up before we checked in, making the entire process seamless and worry-free. Her service was gentle, meticulous, professional, and incredibly attentive. She was warm and thorough with everyone, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay, and it truly boosted our travel happiness. I highly recommend her and will definitely look for Clove again for our next stay!

GGuest UserFacilities: Overall pretty good, not old or run down. The pool and kids' play area are a bit dated, but everything else is fine. Environment: The hot springs, lawns, and ponds in the park are all lovely. You can feed rabbits, swans, and peacocks – it's a great ecological spot. Service: Service was just okay. Maybe they were too busy during the May Day holiday, but the front desk staff just kept apologizing... I called in advance to confirm some requests, including a bed rail, but absolutely nothing was done. It was quite something. The way the staff member installed the bed rail was also unbelievable – it clanged and banged all night! They put it *under* the bed, which wasn't high enough or stable. They ended up just pushing the bed against the wall to hold the rail in place, which was pretty funny.

GGuest UserThis is an excellent hotel! The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, and the service was top-notch. I had a very satisfying stay, and the hotel environment is also very pleasant. The front desk lady was particularly kind and even upgraded my room for free. I chose this hotel randomly after seeing its high reviews, and I will definitely be back. Every staff member is so enthusiastic, and the soundproofing is exceptional. The bedding was also very clean and tidy. Plus, there's a pool where you can relax, and the bath was super comfortable. Highly recommend!
