"The hotel is very close to the railway station, 5 minutes walk. It's high up on a building so fairly quiet. The place is a bit old but clean. The closest subway stop is a fifteen minute walk (may be learn now to use the bus system since many bus stops are just in front of the railway station). As mentioned in other reviews, there are tons of food places and a relatively large supermarket close by. It is a good place for a short stay (transiting, stopover for a rest). For the price, absolutely no complaints."

11521513****I was extremely satisfied with this place. Before going to Kunming, I spent two hours looking at hotels, big and small, and found one that was incredibly good value for money. The owner was super nice. I was a little unwell with the Kunming weather and had a slight cold, so I asked the owner if they had any 999 (a type of Chinese medicine). When they didn't have any, the owner immediately rode his bike out to buy some for me. The rice noodles they made every morning were amazing, and the owner's homemade ham sausages were very fragrant. I also got to try the owner's own stir-fried bok choy, and I didn't see any bad luck (in Chinese folklore). Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is away from the city, if that what you are looking for, its quiet and very green. The rooms are large and well supplied but a bit dated. The breakfast is good and is at the top of the hill with a great view. In room massage service was a highlight of our stay and very reasonably priced and excellent. It is a great choice if you don't mind a 40 -50 min ride into the city center.

SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

Very clean!
Conveniently located a few minutes only from the train and metro station and 30 min walk from the very center.
Luckin coffee, 7 eleven and a big supermarket next door and plenty of restaurants/eateries.
Host was very helpful and came to meet me and helped me with direction to find the place when I arrived.
Highly recommend it!

AAnonymous UserThis hotel truly hit all the right notes for me! The location is absolutely prime, right outside the high-speed train station – a 5-minute walk, making travel incredibly convenient without any route headaches.
Upon check-in, the front desk staff were all smiles and meticulously introduced the hotel facilities. Their warm and welcoming attitude instantly melted away my travel fatigue. I had large luggage that needed temporary storage, and the baggage storage service was efficient and thoughtful, not at all delaying my schedule.
The room was cozy and spotless. The mattress had just the right firmness, and the pillows were fluffy and comfortable, making the room incredibly comfortable. I slept soundly every night. The most pleasant surprise was the 24-hour self-service laundry room equipped with LG washing machines, detergent, and dryers – an absolute godsend for long-term travelers. No more carrying around dirty clothes!
Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was so extensive it was hard to choose – hot dishes, pastries, fruits, coffee, everything you could want. The breakfast was rich and fresh, making every morning satisfying and delightful.
From the hardware facilities to the service details, everything was impeccable. Next time I'm in this city, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

GGuest UserWe would 100% recommend to stay at this hotel. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night.
The hotel and garden are absolutely beautiful. The room itself was very comfortable. There is a self cleaning toilet, a big shower, a comfortable bed, a nice small sitting area and our room also had a private balcony with a beautiful view.
Every morning we were welcomed around the big table with delicious Yunnan coffee and the most delicious home cooked breakfast. The host is an amazing cook. It was a very pleasant surprise every morning.
The location of the hotel is also amazing. In less than 5 minutes walk you reach Chamahua street with many local food options. In less than 10 minutes you can hike in the Xishan scenic area and visit beautiful temples. By metro and taxi you can easily reach the city center.
Also, if you don't speak Chinese like us, it's not a problem. One of the hosts speak a bit if English and everyone was really making an effort to communicate with translation apps.

WWeilaikeqi———Highly recommended! It's conveniently located close to the high-speed rail station, with plenty of dining options nearby. A delightful bonus is the cute cats you can pet! The owner is incredibly kind. This was my second stay, and I can confidently say the owner's homemade waffles are truly unforgettable – absolutely delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.

GGuest UserLocation was good in that it was around a lot of shops and stores. Front desk people were helpful in answering any questions that I had. I felt like I didn't have much access to the kitchen in cooking my own stuff. Sometimes I was confused about whether it was okay to eat the food that the chef cooked or those meals were only for guest that paid for it. I appreciate the front desk people for loaning out their phone charger to me on a temporary basis when mine didn't work until I can get a new one.
