Luxury Hotels in Chengdu

Was excellent from start to end. Everything was perfect, now you can call that a 5 stars hotel ! The client service was top tier, thanks to everyone, Damon and Rachel who were so kind, professional and efficient. This one was by far the best comparing to all the hotels that I have stayed at. ( around the world) experience was so good that I extended my stay. Definitely recommend it.

1. Disappointed a little bit as I couldn't manage to check in my room due to a room shortage as I need to return back in the late afternoon in order for me to enter the room. 2. The bathroom bathtub requires some maintenance and cleaning since it's an old hotel. 3. Informed the staff standing at the entrance asking to please inform me when my airport transfer vehicle arrive but they ignored it.

During this trip to Chengdu, I stayed at three hotels, JW Marriott, Six Senses and Diaoyutai. Among them, Diaoyutai (now renamed Guanyin Yiyuntai Hotel) is the most expensive and the most expensive in Chengdu, about 2,500 per night. It can be seen that the hardware configuration is quite good and of high quality in first-tier cities, and the French designer has excellent aesthetics. But just like the fundamentals of Chengdu, the hotel software and services are far from matching the hardware configuration. The following is my nitpicking based on the premise that this is the most expensive hotel in Chengdu and even more expensive than Six Senses, which is known as one of the luxury hotels (it is even more ”localized” and difficult to describe): Since there is no welcome fruit dessert in the beautiful dessert box on the table, it is empty. Why put it there? One hour after checking in, an aunt timidly knocked on the door to come in and put the fruit. Isn't it unprofessional? There are no napkins in the restaurant of this level of hotel. The breakfast is small and the quality is simple, as shown in the picture. The bar area in the room is full of crude snacks, and the tea bags are TA. Living on the third floor, the smell of oil smoke from breakfast on the first floor will spread to the room. It should not be because of the large gap in the door. I have said before that the original hardware foundation of this hotel is very good. I don’t know what the reason is. After leaving the room, the hotel is dark and dirty. There is thick dust on the windowsill under the patio. There should be a landscape under the patio, but now it is paved with perfunctory stones. The hotel is divided into two courtyards with a walking distance of 50 meters. One of the courtyards has no doorman, and the front desk is looming. Tourists on the street can break in. At night, the front desk was replaced by an old man. He is amiable and there is no standard hotel language. The problem is that this is not a homestay. The overall service staff is probably a hastily graduated from a domestic tourism technical school with no experience in high-end hotel management. They are timid and enthusiastic, relying on the simple nature of the locals, but there is no standardized management process. The service is not on point, and they can't learn or understand the essence of the ”French” style in this luxury hotel. It is estimated that they can serve domestic four-star hotels. There are several levels of cognition. Update: On the second day of check-in, I received a notice from the hotel that breakfast was delivered to the room instead, and the restaurant would not prepare breakfast. The reason is self-evident: the main customer of the past few days, the ********* tour group, left, and there were only a few unlucky guests in the entire hotel, including me, so the cost of breakfast was saved as much as possible. This is the way of hospitality of the most expensive hotel in Chengdu.

We stayed at Niccolo Chengdu from 25th to 27th and was impressed by its excellent location, which made it easy to get around the city. The staff, especially Amber, were incredibly helpful and made the stay more enjoyable. However, one surprise for me was that the toilet bowl cover wasn't heated, so cold for my B*** which is something I’ve come to expect even in some 3-star hotels…..

My stay at Waldorf Astoria was outstanding! The buffet spread was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious options. The room size was also incredibly impressive, providing plenty of space to relax and unwind in comfort. Plus, the hotel's convenient location right beside the mall made it easy to explore and shop. With fantastic service, spacious rooms, and a great dining experience, my stay was truly memorable.

Perfect experience at The Temple House again. After 8 years, we have finally returned back to the hotel, from the Bell service, to check in hotel staffs, to the house keeping, the breakfast service and customer service, there is literally NOTHING I would like to change. Perfection is the only word that suits this hotel~ located at the heart of the most happening place!!! Cassidy n Dennis were amazingly helpful to our stay, the smiles on their faces, the caring words from their mouth, the thoughtful reminders…nothing beats a great staff at the hotel that completes the wonderful journey!!! Definitely coming back again n again~

I chose Sichuan for the New Year holiday, from landing at the Ritz-Carlton, to staying in niche brands around the Sichuan West Ring Road, and ending with you An Luh ~ Thank you for your style, bringing us comfort and joy, very satisfactory! ㊗An Luh brand is thriving and prosperous! The room facilities are very good, and the housekeeper service is also great, especially the housekeepers Xiao Zhu and Xiao Ling, the service is perfect! There are also many cute kittens, I will come again if I have the chance!

After two years, I returned to Genting Ranch to celebrate the New Year again. The overall experience has reached a new level. First of all, I would like to give special praise to the housekeeper Luna. She communicated the check-in situation in advance and upgraded the satisfactory room type. When we arrived at the hotel, she waited for us in the parking lot in advance. We checked in smoothly without any delay. The hotel has newly built a courtyard room with private hot spring, which is something I have never experienced before. The rooms and public areas are well maintained and the decoration is still very new. The occupancy rate was very high during the New Year's Day, but the hotel, from the management to the cleaning staff, showed a high level of professionalism and treated people with a real smile, which is rarely seen in the hotel market in Chengdu. The hotel carefully prepared various activities on New Year's Day: fireworks, buffet dinner, roasted whole lamb, calligraphy writing, etc. ... There are also various parent-child and pet activities, which are enough to spend two days and one night. In addition, when encountering problems, the housekeeper will promptly give solutions that exceed expectations, which also makes guests feel very comfortable. I will definitely choose this hotel again if I have the opportunity in the future!

This Hotel is located on beautiful grounds, however it is a real shame that they are letting the weeds takeover everywhere. Still very pleasant to walk around the complex with all the trees, flowers, lake, swans & ducks, but it breaks your heart to see the weeds taking over everywhere and there is what once would have been a beautiful Rose Flower path and the roses are still flowering but no maintenance at all and weeks are taller than the rose bushes and all they seem to do is just the grass and forget the rest. Rooms and facilities were very clean, so I was impressed. Room layout is excellent and very, very big with a courtyard and external spa, you start to relax as soon as you walk in the door. The only thing that put me and my wife off is the mahjong table in the main room on the first floor. TV had no movies and no English Chanels at all. Food in the All Day Dining (Chinese Restaurant) was very nice but limited. Breakfast was not a very big selection and probably because it is not peak season, however it also was not very good and put us off even trying the Western Food for dinner and went across the road for fast food instead. Staff were very nice and polite. We want for my wife's birthday and apart from the impressive building structures, there was no WOW factor for the overall experience.
