Spa Hotels in Chengdu

I brought my family here for a hot spring getaway, and it was a really great experience. The hotel proactively contacted me a day in advance and arranged for a butler. We discussed all our needs beforehand, so checking in upon arrival was seamless. The hotel's garden environment is quiet and comfortable, the room was clean, and the bedding was soft. The private hot spring in the courtyard had a wonderful ambiance, and soaking in the radon spring was very stress-relieving. The butler was very responsive, helping us book package contents and introducing us to the hotel facilities. Breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options, and the taste was decent. There were many public hot spring pools, and it wasn't too crowded. It's suitable for a short, relaxing vacation, and overall, I'm satisfied.

The hotel is really quite dated and the hardware facilities are very old. The room still uses an old-fashioned hairdryer, which has weak airflow and damages the hair. Also, those transparent combs are very scratchy on the scalp and quite terrible—they really need to be replaced. The housekeeping staff were all lovely and had a great service mindset. However, the front desk receptionist at Sunday breakfast gets a thumbs down, and the check-out staff on the first floor also lacked any sense of service; they just took the room card without saying a word and let us leave. It felt so cold and indifferent—I might as well have stayed at the Renaissance. The staff who checked us in gave us complimentary access to the executive lounge, and the bartender was exceptionally attentive. A big thank you again to them. The housekeeping auntie was also extremely attentive. Many thanks to her once more.

Pros: (1) Excellent location, right on Chunxi Road, with a direct shuttle service from the hotel to the Panda Base. (2) The staff were very friendly and even gave small gifts to the children. (3) The package deal offered great value for money. Cons: During my stay at the hotel, I constantly suffered from rhinitis and skin allergies. Both issues resolved immediately after checking out/changing hotels, suggesting that the room's cleanliness needs significant improvement.

The room itself was beautifully decorated, but the biggest surprise was the excellent hotel service, especially from Lotus, our concierge. Not only did she help me receive a delivery, but she also looked after the fresh produce it contained and even helped me carry things up and down. She deserves a special shout-out, as she really kicked off my trip to Chengdu and the snowy mountains on a high note!

The room was excellent, very clean, and had a great view. The butler was also very nice and upgraded our room to a much larger one than before, which even had a bathtub. They also provided disposable bath liners, which was a nice touch. It was very convenient to get around, and taking a taxi was easy. It offered great value for money. You needed to use your room card to go up to the floors, which was excellent and made it feel very secure.

This hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, and its proximity to Kuanzhai Alley makes getting around incredibly convenient. The room was well-lit and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed 😴, perfect for a good rest. The staff were friendly, check-in and check-out were efficient, and they responded quickly to any questions. The facilities are comprehensive, making for a great stay experience. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing trip 😁. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chengdu and will definitely prioritize it for future visits. Sincerely recommend it to friends who are coming to visit. 💗

🍬 Location: At first, I thought Taikoo Li was right downstairs, but it's actually a few hundred meters from the nearest metro station (Tianfu Square). Normally, it wouldn't be considered far. But since I'm pretty lazy, I only took the metro on the first day to avoid traffic—after that, I just took cabs everywhere. 🍬 Ambiance & Facilities: Everything was very clean and quiet, from the 1st-floor lobby and the 8th-floor check-in area to the pool/gym on the 10th floor and the guest room floors. 🍬 Overall Service: Every staff member I encountered was extremely pleasant, including the 1st-floor concierge, who provided top-notch service. 🍬 Sleep Quality: I absolutely loved the bed and pillows; I slept great every night. There was zero noise, and with the curtains drawn, the room was pitch-black even in broad daylight. 🍬 Breakfast: The selection wasn't huge, but the food was delicious.

Every summer, I come to Mount Qingcheng, and I've pretty much stayed at all the famous hotels and guesthouses here, with Six Senses being the only one left. So I decided to stay for a night. The reason I waited so long to try Six Senses is because of the mixed reviews online – some praise it to the heavens, others tear it down, making me hesitant to spend money unnecessarily. However, since I've practically stayed everywhere else, I finally gave in to the urge to check out Six Senses! Let me start with the conclusion: the experience was truly disappointing, even a huge letdown! Why? First, its location right next to the Qingcheng Mountain High-Speed Rail Station means there's no sense of secluded retreat at all, which completely undermines the Six Senses brand's reputation for seclusion. Upon entering, it felt hot and stuffy everywhere, not cool at all. This is because the vegetation around the hotel is too sparse, and the trees aren't lush, causing the ground to be scorched. It felt like I had entered a farmhouse guesthouse in Qingcheng Mountain town, completely lacking the ethereal charm of Mount Qingcheng. Moreover, the hotel doesn't have large water features, further diminishing any sense of vibrancy! To put it bluntly, it's not even as good as the adjacent Howard Johnson Qingcheng, which has an earthy charm that makes you feel refreshed and peaceful as soon as you enter. Furthermore, the overall design of the hotel is terribly poor; it's a maze with no clear hierarchy or aesthetic appeal. The room design is even worse, truly embodying the 'upscale farmhouse' aesthetic – neither ancient nor modern, neither rustic nor sophisticated. The interior space of the room is partitioned into small compartments, the lighting is dim, and the balcony is incredibly tiny and mosquito-ridden, making it impossible to relax and enjoy a vacation! The flow within the room is chaotic; the minibar and fridge are placed next to the bed, and when you want to turn off the lights for sleep, you can't find the switch, having to get up and go to the sofa to turn it off. The fan is impossible to turn off easily, and there are hardly any power outlets for phones and laptops! I don't know which designer came up with this anti-human design; it's as if they deliberately made guests uncomfortable! What's even more ridiculous is that the king room and garden room are designed with one above the other, making it easy to see people downstairs from upstairs! Is this to make it convenient for neighbors to visit? It's so 'down-to-earth' that it feels like living in a residential complex! Where's the vacation feeling in that? In short, the stay was very unpleasant. The room wasn't spacious enough, nor was it cozy! You couldn't comfortably lie down or sit up! The room design of Six Senses lacks the grandeur of Qingcheng Songpin, the style of Zuowang Senlin, the ethereal quality of Qingxia Shanju, and the层次感 (sense of layering) of Qingcheng Mountain Resort! However, Six Senses does have its merits, primarily its excellent service. Before check-in, they call to confirm, and after check-in, a butler contacts you, sending various reminders throughout your stay and assisting with booking complimentary services within the hotel. If anything is needed in the room, just ask, and it's delivered immediately. This aspect was quite satisfactory; the service can be said to be the best among all hotels in Qingcheng Mountain, and this alone lives up to the Six Senses brand. Also, the breakfast variety is quite rich and of good quality; the yogurt is homemade by the hotel, and the cherry tomatoes are homegrown. The only inconvenience is having to run up and down between floors in the restaurant to get food! To summarize, Six Senses is worth at most 1,000 yuan per night. Such a high room rate is simply overpriced and a rip-off. Staying there a second time would be a complete waste of money!

The hotel boasts a unique and stylish design, with an excellent location that makes dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The front desk staff provided outstanding and attentive service. Our room was spotless and tidy, offering fantastic views. We had a wonderful stay, earning a five-star rating, and we highly recommend it! The hotel's photography service was also great; you can directly capture the Twin Towers from outside. The photographer was patient and experienced. The concierge was very friendly too. Overall, a delightful stay.

Five-star review! The front desk staff at this hotel were warm, attentive, and professional. The location is excellent—just a few minutes' walk to the East Square of Chengdu East Railway Station, making travel extremely convenient. The room offered a wide, open view, and the deluxe family room was very spacious. The setup with 1 king bed and 1 single bed was neat, spotless, and hygienic, with fully equipped facilities. The breakfast offered a rich variety of top-quality options. Absolutely fantastic!
