Chengdu Hostels

Chishan 03 is conveniently located right next to the subway station. The facilities are comprehensive, and the space is quite large. The bathroom, laundry room, common areas, and vanity room are all beautifully designed and very comfortable. If you don't feel like going out, you can easily spend a relaxing afternoon at the accommodation. This place is definitely the pinnacle of hostels! ✨

Chengdu has gotten colder recently, but for those traveling with姐妹 (sisters/friends), this hostel is still a good choice. The overall environment is nice, and the price is reasonable. It's also quite close to the subway station and Chunxi Road. For someone like me who feels a bit anxious staying in hotels, choosing an all-female hostel is an excellent option. Since everyone is a woman, the hostel is thoughtful and considerate in many ways!

This hostel has a great location and is very convenient for transportation. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the service is attentive, making for a very pleasant stay. Most importantly, the price is really affordable. Highly recommend!

soo, okay. Check in took a looong time, had to fill out the form with the lady, and it took a while. She seems to have everything under control in the hostel and keeps the space quite clean, even disinfects the slippers after use. People do smoke in the corridor the rooms open to, sometimes sitting directly in front of your door. She gives you the tour of the whole place, shows you what’s what, all the while saying “please, wear this,” absolutely out of context haha. Rooms were nice, had aircon, no storage though and my biggest gripe - no locks. Cannot lock the room in any way, and anyone can walk in to the hostel from the street. I would have liked to know this when deciding on whether to stay here. Nothing suss happened during our stay but I’m not sure I can recommend staying here for this reason especially. Bathrooms also were a bit meh, a squat toilet-shower combo, one for girls, two for men and one mixed. Never had to wait to shower though. Other than that, location was good, Chengdu actually has a good bus system, 82 stops close to the hostel and can take you quite a few places in the center.

Nice place, full of amenities and things like gym cinema bar and tarrace. There are many toilets too so it was never crowded. Recommend to solo travelers as it s easy to meet people!

I chose this hostel for my trip to Chengdu, and my stay far exceeded my expectations. The location is truly unbeatable. It's very close to the metro station, within walking distance, making it super convenient to get to Wenshu Monastery and all the major city attractions. Getting around was a breeze, and it's great value for money. I had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the overall environment was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a good rest after a long day of exploring. The amenities were also very thoughtful, with a laundry room and a gym, which was incredibly practical for washing clothes and getting some exercise during my trip. The biggest surprise was the public area on the ground floor. By day, it's a quiet cafe, and by night, it transforms into a bar with a fantastic atmosphere. There are even live singers performing in the evenings – the 'cafe by day, bar by night' concept was right up my alley. Sitting down to listen to music and have a drink melted away a lot of my travel fatigue. I also met many travelers from different places here, including quite a few international guests. Everyone chatted about their travel experiences, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Overall, my experience was fantastic. It's suitable for both solo travelers and those with friends. I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

This time I stayed at a hostel, and chose this one near Chunxi Road. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The guy at the front desk was super nice; he not only checked me in quickly but also enthusiastically recommended authentic local food nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was also good. The common area had a fantastic atmosphere; chatting with backpackers from all over the world in the evening was very rewarding. The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. I highly recommend it to male solo travelers; it feels like a warm harbor during your journey. I will definitely come back next time.

The hostel is in a great location but it looks nothing like in the pictures, there is just one bathroom in the whole hostel and is very dirty so shower is not enjoyable. The room doesn't have a window so there is no ventilation.

This is an excellent hotel, I highly recommend it. The concierge and front desk staff were both incredibly welcoming and helpful. The service is fantastic, and the hygiene is impeccable. I definitely recommend this hotel for any traveler looking for a place to stay. It's truly excellent!

I stayed at Chengdu XiangPi Inn for one night (April 14–15, 2026) and booked a bed in the 6-person male-only shared room. Overall, it was a solid budget-friendly option, but there are a few things worth noting depending on what you’re looking for. The biggest plus is definitely the price—you get exactly what you pay for, and for a short stay it does the job. The room itself was fairly basic but functional. The bed was decent enough for one night, and the space didn’t feel overly cramped despite having multiple occupants. That said, privacy is minimal, as expected in a shared dorm setup. Cleanliness was okay, though not perfect. The shared bathroom was usable but could have been maintained a bit better, especially during busier hours. If you’re particular about hygiene, this is something to keep in mind. The atmosphere was quiet enough when I stayed, and most guests were respectful, which made it easier to rest. Staff interactions were limited but smooth—check-in and check-out were straightforward without any issues. Overall, Chengdu XiangPi Inn is a practical choice if you’re traveling on a tight budget and just need a place to sleep for a night or two. It’s not luxurious, but it’s functional and reasonably comfortable for short stays.
