AAlexandr Ch.We spent 5 unforgettable nights at Hegu Harmony Valley Retreat in Dujiangyan, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience.
People: The team here is simply amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They provide such a high level of hospitality, always noticing and responding to every need with kindness.
Food: Every meal was a delight. From the fresh breakfasts to beautifully crafted dinners, the chef truly has golden hands. The menu combines taste, health, and creativity — each dish felt like a small masterpiece.
Rooms: Our room was spotless, cosy, and full of thoughtful details. The design reflects nature and harmony — from decorations to layout — creating a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere.
Activities: The daily program is fantastic. We enjoyed light morning exercises, deep meditation sessions, and even had the chance to try calligraphy. My wife also joined some paid artistic mini-workshops and brought back unique handcrafted souvenirs for her friends — such a special experience!
Location: The resort has the perfect setting. It is close to the Giant Panda Garden, Jiezi Ancient Town, and Mount Qingcheng, yet the atmosphere is completely peaceful. Surrounded by birdsong, cicadas, and trees, we breathed fresh air every day. The gardens inside the resort are stunning, with many lovely spots for photos and videos.
Overall, Hegu Harmony Valley Retreat is a place where hospitality, nature, and culture come together. We left with our hearts full, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone visiting Dujiangyan.

MM692340****The hotel's design is stylish, with a neo-Chinese garden feel. The front desk staff was incredibly efficient, with sweet smiles, and even thoughtfully escorted me to my room. I'd left a pack of cigarettes at the hotel, and they took good care of it, giving it to me right after check-in. The room was very cozy, with fresh welcome fruit and comfortable bedding. I always sleep soundly. The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries are Marlin Dog, with a premium rum scent—very useful!
Breakfast wasn't crowded, and the menu was short but excellent, with Chinese-style freshly cooked noodles, a la carte dishes, and Western-style Eggs Benedict—all of which were of high quality. From the front desk to the restaurant to the room, every staff member was warm and welcoming. The housekeepers, likely locals, were very chill!
In short, the hotel's dedication to both the amenities and the service was evident, offering exceptional value for money.

GGuest UserThe Qingcheng Mountain Yueshang Qingxiang Hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It boasts four hot spring pools for guests to enjoy and even offers complimentary afternoon tea. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible friendliness of the restaurant staff. Every single one of them had a radiant smile and provided warm, attentive, and thoughtful service. They were happy to answer all our questions and even recommended local attractions. We were thoroughly impressed and left with a wonderful impression.

SSarah Welsh1We have just had the most amazing 2 night stay here and it was perfection! The hotel is situated high in the mountains but only 20 minutes away from Panda Valley. The rooms were very clean and are supplied with everything you could need. The views were exceptional and we instantly fell in love with this place! The hotel is well worth the price paid. There are evening meals available but it is also possible to order takeaway from the restaurants in the city to deliver. The WiFi worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water for the showers and the spring water spa bath in the room. The beds were huge and so comfortable, it was blissful!
The customer service was the greatest! The staff were happy to help with every request and were so friendly, they really made the stay memorable. The staff helped with small items such as mosquito spray (although it wasn’t needed), lighters and other items we had forgotten. They also helped us to book our tickets and arrange our trips for the following days to the temple and Panda Valley. They also went out of their way to drive us to these places and made sure we were able to get inside as we don’t read Chinese! As I said, exceptional service!
We very much look forward to staying here again and highly recommend to anyone. Thank you to all of the staff at Sanmoun Villas for a wonderful and unforgettable stay 🥰

Our room was very spacious, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the private hot spring was spotlessly clean. For my child's birthday, the butler thoughtfully surprised us with a cake, demonstrating truly attentive service. The complimentary photoshoot provided by the hotel was highly professional. The styling and makeup were beautifully done, and combined with the hotel's gorgeous setting, we were extremely happy with the resulting photos. The photographer was also excellent at guiding the children on how to pose.

The Qingcheng Mountain Forest B&B I chose on Ctrip exceeded my expectations! It was raining the day of our departure, and I was worried about the mountain roads being difficult to navigate. The B&B contacted us in advance and arranged a private car pick-up. Even more surprising—as soon as the car pulled up, I saw the staff waiting at the door with umbrellas. Such thoughtfulness instantly warmed my heart ❤️
Walking through the bamboo forest path, washed lush and green by the rain, the housekeeper had already prepared warm towels and ginger tea to ward off the cold. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows of our room, the mist-shrouded mountain forest was as beautiful as an ink painting, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of earth and vegetation.
The afternoon tea was even more amazing: handmade pastries paired with a seasonal fruit platter. Sitting on the viewing terrace, listening to the raindrops dripping from the eaves, the hustle and bustle of the mountain world was completely detached.
The most commendable thing was the mushroom hotpot for dinner! The owner explained that the mushrooms are all picked that morning from the mountains, and the broth is simmered for hours with an old hen. Fresh porcini and bamboo fungus swirl in the golden broth, and even three bowls are enough! The housekeeper also thoughtfully explains the taste and health benefits of each mushroom.
From the first greeting under the umbrella upon arrival to the soothing hot milk delivered late at night, every detail felt like home. I've already recommended this place to all my friends, and I'll definitely be back when the mountains are covered in crimson leaves in late autumn! 🍁

FFengyuezhibianAfter two years, I returned to Genting Ranch to celebrate the New Year again. The overall experience has reached a new level.
First of all, I would like to give special praise to the housekeeper Luna. She communicated the check-in situation in advance and upgraded the satisfactory room type. When we arrived at the hotel, she waited for us in the parking lot in advance. We checked in smoothly without any delay.
The hotel has newly built a courtyard room with private hot spring, which is something I have never experienced before. The rooms and public areas are well maintained and the decoration is still very new.
The occupancy rate was very high during the New Year's Day, but the hotel, from the management to the cleaning staff, showed a high level of professionalism and treated people with a real smile, which is rarely seen in the hotel market in Chengdu.
The hotel carefully prepared various activities on New Year's Day: fireworks, buffet dinner, roasted whole lamb, calligraphy writing, etc. ... There are also various parent-child and pet activities, which are enough to spend two days and one night.
In addition, when encountering problems, the housekeeper will promptly give solutions that exceed expectations, which also makes guests feel very comfortable.
I will definitely choose this hotel again if I have the opportunity in the future!

GGuest UserThe room was clean and hygienic, but there were two drawbacks: the soundproofing was too poor. We could hear the people in the next room talking and laughing loudly late at night. We complained to the housekeeper many times, but we were still woken up by the noise at 1 a.m.; the second point was that there was no hot water in Huasha. The housekeeper came up to adjust it and said it was hot water, but the temperature was probably around 20 degrees. I really couldn't accept it in the winter.

GGuest UserSpacious room for the price, good location as this is walking distance to restaurant and convenient store and fashionable shop especially the Chinese lady dress (Qi Pao), as well as the beautiful tourist scene. It is also less than 3 min walk to the railway station.
Thumbs up for the excellent hospitality service and friendly front office together with restaurant staff. Must try their hotel food on the Chinese Fine Dining which is very budget friendly. Not to forget to mention they do provide a free mini bar in the room and free fruits, got a fridge also.
You may also request from the front office if you need some adult use items and some emergency use items such as plaster, alcohol wipe and etc. You may borrow their umbrella upon 50 Yuan deposit which is refundable once you return them the umbrella.
Another point to highlight is I found that this is the tallest hotel building nearby that offers a scenic Dujiangyan view at the 19th Floor and provides 1 free tea for check in guests. In the case of raining day and you are not able to walk to the scenic area, you may go to the 19th Floor to see the view.
