We arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet, but the front desk attendant was incredibly welcoming and made sure we were comfortable while we waited, even letting us enjoy the wind chimes. Because we had to wait a while, he kindly upgraded our room. It had a projector, which was great for the kids to watch anything without straining their eyes, and the room was very warm with wall heating.
They also offer daily wellness activities like Baduanjin and meditation, and an ”Incense and Serenity” check-in experience. It's really perfect for modern city dwellers looking to escape the hustle and bustle and soothe their souls.

As the daughter, I brought my parents here myself. I picked Songpin to give them, and myself, the best experience within our means. The Ctrip package included breakfast for two adults and two children, a vegetarian set meal for two, a personal travel photoshoot, a private hot spring pool, and experiences like feeding black swans and practicing Baduanjin/Tai Chi. Booking was very convenient and smooth. A day before our check-in, a butler contacted us to confirm our arrival time, so they could make arrangements in advance.
The hotel's design is stunning, especially the lobby. It's grand, with a strong Chinese aesthetic, inspired by 'A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains' as its central theme, and features many Chinese red elements. It's no exaggeration to say that every step presents a picturesque view. The background music was consistently guqin, and the lobby always had incense burning, which truly created a peaceful and calming atmosphere. It's clear Wanda invested significant thought and resources into its creation back then.
The complimentary vegetarian set meal was very generously portioned and tasted great; the three of us adults couldn't even finish it. The Chinese restaurant, located on the B1 level overlooking the lake, had a very comfortable ambiance. Songpin features 86 villa rooms, each uniquely named above its entrance and boasting a private front and back courtyard. We checked in during the evening, and the turndown service was a lovely, thoughtful touch. The private hot spring pool was already filled for us. The room was equipped with Nespresso capsules and Guicha tea bags. The first round of mini-bar items was complimentary, and there were also welcome fruits (though their quality was just average). Bottled water, small bottles of Baishui Mountain, totaled about 8 bottles spread across the two levels. This was actually quite good, already surpassing a third of luxury hotels. I'm not sure why, but the complimentary bottled water in luxury hotels nowadays often ranges from mediocre to downright poor.
Now for the downsides. The toiletries were a bit odd – the shower gel and hand soap were combined into one product, a 'hand wash shower gel,' which wasn't very pleasant to use; it felt astringent. The shampoo was similar. I'm not sure if it was due to the rain these past two days, but despite having a dehumidifier, it wasn't on, so the bedding felt a bit damp, and the mattress was also very soft.
Finally, a special shout-out to the complimentary travel photoshoot. Even though it involved light makeup and simple styling, it was clear a lot of care was put into it. The photographer genuinely spent a full hour with us, which was a real bonus. Both the hotel's interior and exterior environments are incredibly picturesque, meaning there's no need to brave crowds elsewhere for great photos. The overall experience was wonderful, and my mom was very satisfied, haha.
I truly hope Songpin maintains its current positioning and high standards, and continues to improve. I've already recommended it to friends!

Whether it was the public hot springs or the private onsen in our room, everything helped us unwind and relax. The facilities were superb too: complimentary bicycles, lakeside leisure activities, a clean and comfortable room, and fresh welcome fruits – every detail spoke of quality.
Taylor's service was absolutely top-notch, warm and professional throughout. From a smooth check-in with a thorough introduction to the hotel facilities and helpful tips for the hot springs, to proactively responding to our various needs during our stay, she was quick and efficient in handling everything, whether it was asking about local attractions or needing extra items. What truly touched us was her attentiveness; she noticed our preferences and subtly provided delightful surprises. This level of unexpected care made us feel genuinely valued and warm inside.
This vacation not only offered the comfort of natural hot springs, beautiful surroundings, and rich amenities, but we were also deeply impressed by Taylor's thoughtful service. Her professionalism and genuine attitude elevated the luxury resort experience beyond just the hardware. I've already recommended this hotel to friends and will definitely choose to stay here again next time. A big thank you to Taylor for such a wonderful experience!

Ssunny****The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel environment was also very good. The breakfast was delicious. Most importantly, the location is excellent. It's only about a hundred meters walk from the high-speed rail station to the hotel entrance. Right outside, there's an electric shuttle station that takes you directly to the scenic area entrance, making it very convenient to get to the back mountain. The bus stop is also right across the street. There are also many good dining options nearby, including Bamboo Forest Restaurant, coffee shops, KFC, and FamilyMart. The jasmine tea and Lapsang Souchong provided by the hotel were both excellent, and you can even enjoy a hot spring bath.

AAndrewBWhere to start! If you are looking for a few nights away from the bustle of Chinese cities and you want to relax and unwind in nature then Suxi Qingshan Forest Homestay is perfect!
The hotel is easily accessible from Chengdu. A short 25 minutes train ride from Chengdu to Qingchengshan station and then the hotel staff will arrange to pick you up.
As soon as you arrive you will realise what an absolute gem this hotel is!
The hotel is nestled amongst the hills with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. This is a luxury hotel with the services and infrastructure to match.
We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea upon arrival and you also have the possibility to enjoy a hot water jacuzzi, a fitness area, walks around the hotel forest grounds as well as many other experiences proposed by the hotel.
The hotel is only 15 mins drive from Dujiangyan Giant Panda Centre and the hotel staff organised transport there and back for us. We would recommend this Panda reserve as it is much quieter than the reserves in Chengdu!
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on both nights of our stay and the food was truly exceptional! We chose the set menu, which took us on a culinary journey through Sichuan. Each plate was refined, delicious and made using fresh ingredients.
The breakfast was equally delicious, fresh and healthy.
We would like to highlight the kindness and warmth of all the hotel staff. They were always available to answer any questions and organise activities to make our stay magical. The hotel staff were able to communicate with us in both English and French.
We stayed at Suxi Homestay looking for a relaxing few days away from cities and we were blown away by the experience! We would have loved to have extended our stay!

GGuest User1. The room was spacious, with a large bed, a generous bathroom, and plenty of hot water. The sink was also huge. The ample space made living away from home feel easy and comfortable, just like being at home. The room's amenities were well-equipped, and the new Chinese-style decor was simple yet elegant.
2. The service was excellent. The two young ladies at the front desk were always smiling and very kind. Not only did they proactively offer travel tips, but they also worried we wouldn't have enough to eat for breakfast and kept asking if we wanted more dishes. The two young men were not only handsome but also very enthusiastic. Especially the gentleman who checked us in on the first day; he not only picked us up and dropped us off at the front gate of Mount Qingcheng but also offered to drive us to the town center. The guesthouse's service made us feel truly at home.
3. The natural surroundings were harmonious. The guesthouse's dog was gentle and adorable, affectionate but not overly clingy. It would accept food from guests but never snatched it, and it would interact with you if you petted it. When we left, it even watched us get into the car and wagged its tail.
Overall, this stay was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again for my next trip to Mount Qingcheng.

1118239****Just finished my stay at this hotel, and I must say it's been one of the most unexpectedly delightful experiences recently. From the moment of arrival, every single detail showed the hotel's meticulous care.
The hotel rooms are designed with expansive views, offering picturesque cityscapes or garden scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and even the mini-bar selection shows thoughtful consideration. I particularly appreciated the hotel's attention to detail – excellent soundproofing, a smart and convenient lighting and curtain system, and even thoughtfully placed power outlets. The private hot spring was superb in terms of privacy and comfort.
The staff were warm and efficient, even setting up a private service group to assist us.
The most impressive thing was when I realized my child had left their glasses in the room after we had checked out. I contacted the hotel staff, and they promptly helped find them and immediately arranged to mail them back to us. Hats off to their service!
I've already recommended this hotel to several friends and look forward to returning for another stay soon.

SSanshuiThis trip really exceeded expectations! The hotel is located in the tea mountains, with fresh air and quiet environment, as if you are in a paradise. The most surprising thing is that the hotel also provides tea picking and tea making experience. It is very meaningful to bring children to experience the traditional Chinese tea culture, which is both educational and entertaining!
The hotel’s private hot spring is also a highlight. Soaking in the hot springs and looking at the tea plantations on the mountain can relax your body and mind. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and special slippers for children, which is very considerate.
The transportation is also very convenient. The driving journey is smooth. The food in the restaurant is also delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and the price is reasonable, which saves the trouble of going out to find food.
All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and highly recommended for families with children!

GGuest UserI liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad.
I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either).
As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office.
A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain).
On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan.
Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.
