"This hotel is amazing - location is perfect for both railway and metro plus lots of great shops and restaurants around it.
I used the free shuttle and it was seamless - so well organised !
Then my brother needed extra room last minute and amazingly they got him one even though he arrived very late

"I forgot to take picture of our hotel room 😂.. but the location is just across of Zongyang Street. We went to Zhongyang Street everyday during out 3 days stay here. The room was for 4 pax but when i informed them through Trip.com there were 5 of us the provided bath towels for 5 pax. Breakfast was plenty and the most delicious among the 5 hotels we stay during our January 2025 Harbin trip. Recomended."

"Excellent location specially when plan to visit Yabuli because near Harbin West station. Level B2 of elevator is connected to the front mall. Also have bigger mall across the street, both mall have supermarket and restaurant. House keeping was so kind and have free laundry. We ask help to get a taxi to airport but they said we could just get it outside, in the freezing cold outside. It just sad because in Beijing and Shanghai they call taxi for us."

Additionally, complimentary afternoon tea was served in the lobby from 2 PM to 4 PM, featuring a delightful selection of pastries, fruits, and beverages. "I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, conveniently situated near key attractions and making it easy to explore the area. "On my first visit to Harbin, this hotel, which I discovered by chance, was an absolute delight. It boasts an incredibly convenient location for tourists, offers nearly all-day afternoon tea, and a meticulously prepared breakfast featuring both à la carte and buffet options. The service truly rivals that of luxury brands like Four Seasons and Banyan Tree. What particularly stood out was the thoughtful gesture of neatly tying up phone cables after room cleaning – a small detail I had only ever seen before at the Regent Chongqing. We booked a garden room with a private courtyard, and the small patio at the entrance was absolutely charming. The public courtyard is also ideal for outdoor tea and relaxation. Furthermore, the customer service manager and all staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were extremely knowledgeable about Harbin's dining scene and were able to recommend the most unique and authentic restaurants to guests. They even thoughtfully prepared a small farewell gift upon our departure. This is truly a fantastic hotel, worth revisiting two or even three times! I've already recommended it to many friends."

It was a basement unit without windows, while i booked via my tour agent was the bigger room.
Experience was good, reception very welcoming and helpful.

Place was clean, both cleaner aunty was very detailed in their housekeeping.

"As a frequent business traveler, this is hands down the best service hotel I've come across in all the cities I've visited. While it might not be a sprawling luxury 5-star property, the attentiveness of their service is truly unparalleled by other professional hotels. YYburnnavoyagesMy friend and I had the pleasure of staying at Grand Mercure hotel in Harbin, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, I was struck by the spotlessly clean surroundings and the comfortable feeling that enveloped us. The high ceiling added a touch of grandeur to the ambiance, making it feel a luxury 5-star accommodation, all at a budget-friendly price.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the comfortable bed and fresh linens. I had the best sleep and woke up feeling refreshed, as if I had slept like a baby. The attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable sleep experience was truly commendable.
The hotel staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. Despite some language barriers, they went above and beyond to assist me with anything I needed and provide accurate information. I vividly remember ALAN CHEN or Chan, although I'm unsure of the exact spelling of his name. He was always attentive to our concerns and questions, taking the time to communicate and ensure we received the correct directions. Their dedication and willingness to assist made a lasting impression on me.
In terms of location, the hotel was conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easily accessible from the airport which is around 45mins or less.
The ride took less than 10 minutes to reach the high-speed railway station from the hotel. However, I must mention that there weren't many convenient shops in the immediate vicinity, which might be a minor inconvenience for some travelers.
Our only issue during our stay was the room temperature, which was quite warm. Despite adjusting the thermostat, we couldn't achieve a comfortable coolness. We resorted to opening the window slightly to let in some fresh air, but leaving it open throughout the night posed the risk of catching a cold. It would be highly beneficial if the hotel could consider providing a humidifier, as the air in the room felt excessively dry.
Overall, my stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The cleanliness of the hotel, the exceptional staff, and the convenient location all contributed to a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Harbin and would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit. The management may want to look into improving the room temperature control and addressing the dryness in the air to ensure an even more pleasant stay for future guests.

FFootloose YBThe location was excellent, right on the pedestrianized Zhongyang Avenue which is full of domestic tourists most hours. It can get a bit too crowded though, such that it can get annoying.
Check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was clean on arrival.
The room was a bit small but the bed was comfortably large. Despite the crowds out on Zhongyang Ave, the room was quiet. The blackout curtains were useful because sunrise was at 4am. Lighting was good and there were several power points for charging equipment. There was a table which I could use as a desk. Unfortunately there was no fridge. Another improvement would be to have more hooks and hangers for clothes. Temperature control was good.
The bathroom was quite spacious with a shower stall that was 1.5 square metres at least. Hot water came through quickly and drainage was good.
Breakfast was disappointing. Out of six hotels that I stayed in during this trip (all in the same price category) this hotel had the smallest selection of food items for breakfast. There were no western options beyond sliced bread and strawberry jam. No fruit available. No fruit juice. The selection of Chinese dishes changed regularly but still seemed more limited than other hotels. The breakfast room tended to be so full at peak times, people had to wait for tables.
Staff seemed ill-prepared to deal with non-chinese speaking guests. Despite it being obvious that I was using a translation app to ask my question, they always replied in Chinese, speaking fast and with quite complex sentences. It is as if they assume that all guests can understand their replies even if the questions were asked via an app. This happened a few times (till I gave up) and at no time did a staff member take out a phone and app to translate their reply. Staff in this hotel need culture- and linguistic-sensitivity training.
I was also disappointed when I asked them to help me book a taxi because I had an early flight and needed to leave for the airport at 5:30am. The staff seemed unable or unwilling to book a taxi. She simply pointed me to the street and said I should go there and hail a passing taxi. The street was almost deserted at 5am.

MMatthew CliveHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly.
The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon.
The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price.
I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing.
The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games.
It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel.
Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

OOtautahianWe chose this hotel because there is a TCM place literally on the opposite side of the block and my sister could get acupuncture there.
All the staff were friendly, the hotel was modern and bright, and it was easy to get taxis outside.
My sister especially enjoyed the breakfast bigger because there was a lot of dongbei food and the hot dishes changed every day. While we were there (Spring Festival) there were free snacks at reception, like hulutang, frozen pears, egg tarts.

Xxiaofeng！Let me tell you about my three-day experience there. I originally booked a 2-day stay, but my children liked the aunt and sister Nan Nan very much, so we stayed one more night. This is a very, very humane B&B. It feels like coming home when we get off the bus. They greeted us warmly at the door and took our luggage to the room. Then we went downstairs to eat. The dishes cooked by the chef are so delicious. I highly recommend their twice-cooked pork. My children want to eat it for every meal. At night, my children saw the barbecue outside and wanted to eat it, so we went out to eat barbecue. It was very expensive. I really don't recommend going to Snow Valley for barbecue. It's too expensive. A small string of beef and lamb skewers is 6 yuan a string, and a string of three slices of I don't know what kind of meat it is costs 10 yuan, and they don't even give me paper towels. After that meal, I never dared to eat out again. Nan Nan's food is still delicious and affordable. Many guests who live in other B&Bs come to Nan Nan's for dinner. We guests here are like a family. At night, everyone sits on the kang in the hall and chats. It's quite interesting! Their house is very clean, so you can rest assured. The beautiful woman wearing a hat is Nan Nan! When we went out to Wusongling, the aunt also enthusiastically helped each of us to wear snow caps (free of charge)! It is best to bring a bath towel to their house, because they use disposable towels, and bath towels are better for children. DDandanwuyouThis hotel is super good! There is plenty of hot water, and it is very comfortable to take a shower. The washed underwear and socks can be hung for half a day to dry. There is heating and air conditioning. We didn't turn on the air conditioning when we slept, and we opened the window a little. The temperature is just right! Very quiet! Stayed for three nights, the sleep quality is very good! It is very close to the Hagia Sophia, about 10 minutes walk. There are also food around, and there are supermarkets and pharmacies a few dozen meters away. You can also buy frozen pears and deliver them the next day. 6.99 yuan actually got 11 frozen pears. It's delicious!

EEe MingWe had a very good experience staying in Yabu Loni Hotel at Yabuli. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm reception we receive from our hotel guide 初长月. She assisted us to check into our hotel room early which allow us to settle in quickly. Arranging for ski lessons and equipment was also a breeze with her help. Her enthusiasm, energy and smile is something that makes our stay so much fun and enjoyable. And she is always just a call away.
As for the hotel room, it is a little dated but nevertheless still very clean and nice. I would certainly hope that they can improve on the breakfast, the range is pretty limited.
The location of the hotel is fantastic and it is just right besides the cable car that bring you to the top of the ski resort. It is also right next to Club Med.

HHaiqal NohXin Yuhang, the employee that works in Sun Castle Resort Hotel is really nice, helpful and friendly, helps us with the difficulties we had throughout our stay there. Because of our language barriers , he was patience to translate it to us and despite the crowd that kept coming in and making him busy, he handle one by one with class, professionalism, and each person's help. IIBRAHIM إِبۡرَاهِيمَ 依布拉欣If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed.
On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee.
One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.
