I have stayed for 3nights, hotel is very clean and convenient, location of hotel is so near from Nanjing road (you can take around 4mins walking from hotel entrance to “Top Toy Nanjing”). And All staff here are very nice i got the good and nice suggestion about room, facilities and places around here. Special thanks to Xiao Hu (Staff person at Floor5 Lobby) She is very kind and supportive, i got good suggestion about nearby restaurants, souvenir shops and all must know-information for hotel. So i would like to recommend this hotel if you come to Shanghai with your wife or family due to the nearby location with Nanjing road (you can find family mart, chagee 24hours) and good service mind staff especially Xiao hu (she made me very impress).

That is an excellent hotel with great service and english speaking staff. We liked absolutely everything about it. From great and various breakfast, through concierge local tips, spacious rooms to marvelous 30th floor lounge , where you can get some snacks and drinks while watching the city from above. None to add, that you get out exactly on Nanjing road.

The hotel is close to The Bun and within walking distance. The room is clean, but the soundproofing isn’t great , you can sometimes hear people talking or doors opening and closing. The Wi-Fi signal is available, but you need to be near the window to get it (and our window faced another building). However, the signal is always strong in the lobby. The lobby lights are turned off at midnight. One small downside is that the staff didn’t manage outsiders who weren’t staying at the hotel but came in to enjoy the air-conditioning and charge their devices. Other than that, the staff were very helpful. We arranged for a car pickup at the hotel (note that the hotel has multiple branches, so be careful when giving the location). Luckily, the staff helped communicate with the driver for us.

Some place you can just visit, stay, and leave, but surely Youli Hotel is a place where I will always cherish and be my 1st choice when staying in Shanghai. The hotel offers a decent room with generous facilities and great location. But what make us the most impressive is the support from receptionists here. They are ALL very helpful, especially Ms. Chen and the lady who tied a ponytail. (sorry that I can’t recall your name). They are prompt to assist, help us to upgrade the room when it’s available, making sure us receiving the best experience. Yet, they helped me a lot and keep following up with the airline when my baggage is delayed and in-need of local support. Thank you all for the most memorable stay and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended.

Excellent service : Breeno let us check in much earlier than usual. Ruby Li gave us late check out, an awesome restaurant recommendation, searched for a shop nearby for the item I was looking for & called a retail shop on my behalf to check if my purchase was ready - so appreciative of her amazing service! Keira Li at the Club Lounge also provided great service. Crowne Plaza is very strategically located with many attractions, restaurants & shops within walking distance. The room itself has traditional closets with doors (nice for privacy & neatness factors) & drawers within, effective blackout curtains, great lighting, magnifying vanity mirror & thick fluffy towels plus a retractable laundry line in the bathroom. I would love to stay there again when I go to Shanghai next time.

The room is clean and tidy, and the location is convenient for travel. The hotel service is warm and thoughtful, and the breakfast is also very special. The service at the front desk was very good. Not only was there a warm greeting when entering and leaving, but a complimentary breakfast was also provided. The room facilities are well maintained and clean. The self-service laundry room is very convenient. The enthusiastic front desk lady provided thoughtful and meticulous service. I would like to express my gratitude. PPandy016I communicated our pick up needs to hotel at regular intervals and keot them updated about our flight. Advised would be arriving a little early due to flight. Was told to call after landing - no answer. Tried messaging on we chat took a while for response. No clear directions. So arrived at exit after clearing customs and collecting bags. Then told to go back upstairs to gate 3 departures. Waited out there for a long time. Over half an hour. Many other hotels collected people with many others coming and going while we waited. One hotel had 3 vehicles with their name on it pick up patrons in the time we were standing there. I can now see why we were the only ones going to Novotel. Clearly the driver did not leave the hotel after long after we advised we had arrived. When he did turn up in a rundown silver van with no name on it. He drove like a mad man and dangerously. He think he was trying to make up for time. He was rather rude when he dropped us off, not a word from him. Check in experience was no better. Two girls on reception were talking **** about us - yes I had my translator on after explaining our check in details to them. Very poor service and actually unprofessional behaviour. Room service had finished so we weren't able to get anything to eat. Did not feel able nor did I want to speak with front desk again to ask for assistance in ordering some food. Only staff that was friendly or even acknowledged us was the lovely cleaning lady on our floor the following morning. Breakfast was okay. Laundry was a mess from another lady who pulled out all her washing dripping wet and made a huge puddle on the floor. If there had been a towel I would have cleaned up her mess! We wish we had gone straight to the hotel we had originally planned to but opted for the Novotel due to close proximity to airport for our late flight back into Shanghai. We would have been better off going straight to the original hotel over an hour away. I believe we still would have arrived earlier. We have stayed at Novotel Auckland Airport in New Zealand a few times and the service is impeccable. Unfortunately Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha is not a good representation of the Novotel brand. Also considering this an airport hotel with many tourists likely utilizing it - very few things have English translation including the vending machine. The hotel building itself is nice and the only positive. Won't be back - step up your game. I usually do rave reviews and very rarely do negative unless warranted.

GGuest UserWhen going to Disneyland Shanghai, I highly recommend this property for locals and foreigners. The process to check in was easy and very straightforward. We rented the bunk bed room for our Elsa crazed daughter. Immediately upon entrance to the room, she enjoyed every moment of her weekend here. Going to the park was a breeze with their own private shuttle. They have a WeChat group that helps you navigate inside and outside of the park. They offer private guided tours for a discounted price. They also offer very affordable stroller rentals which was such a blessing for a 27,000 step day at Disney. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a magical experience with an affordable price.

DdanthetravellerMy second time at Lemon Hotel! I was impressed with how great yet affordable it was, so I came back. The location is just less than a minute’s walk from Changshu Station (metro) exit No.7, the staff were nice and friendly and informative, the bed was so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave. I would come back here again if I ever return to Shanghai.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located ~ 400 m away from the shanghai railway station, not too far to walk but may be a difficult path if you walk with your luggage. I visited there around June. They were renovating the front area of the hotel so you need to encircle another hotel to get to Waiting hotel. Another problem is their internet wasnt working. Other than these problems, i would like to recommend this place. There’s elevator. Room is well furnished and has full needed amenities including refrigerator. Also their smart toilet has a bidet shower which is very nice for Asian (we’re very familiar with it). There’s also a daily room service.

RR41FIIt's a cute accommodation. A place where Chinese history rests and I felt it every time when an older Chinese man passed me by in the corridor. The smell of old school freshness coming from ultra fine shaven skin. Maybe a little lost and confused about how times changes and what globalization causes, for some of us. Us, because for me as a true globalist, times preciously still breathes. Tradition, it gushes out of the walls of this accommodation. The warm greetings from the ”old establishment” made me feel like home. It made me realize that the inner soul is open for the new ones, the anti-separatist and anti-segregates. There are, unfortunately and comparing to other areas of Shanghai where I've bene, also Europeans. I didn't see them in other areas except in Pudong. They made me feel not welcome. They made me feel as if ”home” would always hunt me down and tried to make me feel like one of the undesirables. It made some employees left a bit confused. ”What should I do?” handle it like a pro, and that's exactly what they managed to do. From stepping into the entrance all the way up to my room. It felt warm, it even cooled down the scattering heat from outside. Sometimes they left the door open. As if they wanted to make everyone feel comfortable. The cool air approaching me when I was nearly at ”home”. And at the end, it really did make me feel very desired. As if everyone on this planet counts. Every time when I opened the door of my room, I felt an even cooler welcome pulling me in to work even harder on my projects. The ”older” furniture, the warmth coming from the wood entering my soul, combined with the cool enough A/C, and the little bit noisy traffic made me realize how Shanghai was built upon and by who. I feel proud of the establishment of Shanghai as a whole. An energetic city, but it will always remain the traditions what made the city big. The sound of the oversized vessels slowly finding their way out of the business and gently flow away into a nothingness of blue waves, thriven what will make the city even bigger as it already is. The somewhat older flatscreen television on the wall is still hanging proudly in its socket. Showing where the new digital era started. I didn't use the television. I always leave them for what they are, but this one attracted my attention. Shall I open it? No, I'm in Shanghai and there's way too many good things to do, instead of washing my brains. It left it as it was, because I didn't want to ruin the warm feeling that I felt. Okay, back to work, because productivity is waiting. Ready for new creations. Nothing is perfect and there was a minor misunderstanding, but I will never forget to realize that the negative Latin European impulses where there. The oil that makes fire burn harder on a warm plate. Back to where I am and that's not in propaganda machine Latin Europe. I'm in pretty Shanghai. Pleasantly warm outside, because that's what Shanghai is. Little bit sweaty outside, but nice and chilling indoors. The food in the area. I'm incredibly addicted to the spicy Chinese food. It makes me as happy as if I'm high as a kite floating around on green stuff we smoke in Europe. It also was the only moment when I realized what the reason was for me to touch that green stuff which only messes up my lungs and a little bit of my mental health. But that was already a bit messed up. And the staff, they saw it. Some of them tried to acknowledge me that they saw something. That they realized I carried a lot on my back instead of two backpacks. And the made me realize that it's over and out. I left Europe for what it is. And when I look back on them, I will always look down. With my nose risen high into the sky. Thank you so much for this personal experience to the staff of this lovely accommodation. And trip.com, you're even more than fabulous.

GGuest UserLocation wise, it is perfect. Walk 10 minutes and you found the IAPM high end mall. Also so many food choices! The street next to this hotel have michelin bib gourmand Scallion Noodles place. So convinient. Room wise, it is enough for us. The toothbrush is soft and I have a crazy good night sleep here. The robot for food is also cute! Staffs are helpful. I asked them to keep my huge bags for 2 nights and they were super accomodating. They also help me with my ******* (food delivery app)! Everyone works hard and it shows, even the cleaning ladies.

Kkyle&SunWe recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel exudes a sense of tradition and timeless elegance, and the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking — beyond words, really. I can confidently say it was the best view we've seen among all the hotels in Shanghai. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and warm hospitality. The level of service throughout our stay was truly outstanding. Check-in and check-out were both quick and seamless, which we greatly appreciated after a long journey. Although the building itself shows a bit of age, everything else more than made up for it. The room was immaculately clean, with the furniture and flooring well maintained and neatly arranged. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome letter and fresh fruit, which added a personal touch and made us feel truly valued as guests. The breakfast venue offered not only excellent food but also a stunning view, making every morning feel special. The service at breakfast was also consistently attentive and professional. While the swimming pool was a bit on the smaller side, my husband still enjoyed it during the short time he was able to use it. Once again, the staff there were helpful and courteous, ensuring a pleasant experience. If I had to mention one minor downside, it would be the slightly dated feel of the building itself. However, the incredible view, exceptional service, and overall atmosphere far outweighed that detail. Overall, I would confidently rate our stay as 9 out of 10. I would absolutely love to return on our next trip to Shanghai. Thank you to the entire team at The Ritz-Carlton for a truly wonderful stay, thanks ❤️

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! You can walk directly from the second-floor lounge to the riverside, and it's just a two-minute stroll to the ferry terminal. From there, you can catch a 2 RMB ferry to the other side of the river. Housekeeping was very attentive; for example, they replaced our child's bath towels after their afternoon soak while we were out for dinner. The only slight drawback was that you need to turn off the water supply to the bathtub before going to sleep, otherwise, the motor emits a low humming noise. Also, some floorboards seemed a bit warped, possibly from water exposure. Otherwise, everything else was quite good. We had originally planned to stay two nights at the tallest hotel across the river, but our child wasn't keen on it. This was mainly because we encountered a typhoon, and that particular building was often enveloped in clouds, completely obscuring the night view. So, we decided to extend our stay here for an additional two days. The rooftop Southeast Asian restaurant offers absolutely stunning views; however, the food itself isn't particularly good, so I'd highly recommend just going for drinks to enjoy the panorama.
