If you wanted something hot, there was only scrambled eggs, sausages and/or bacon. The coffee wasn’t great…it was a Douwe Egbert machine. It’s about a 10min walk to the beach which was beautiful. The room was small but adequate. It was really hot in the room and there were no instructions on how to use the air on. We just opened the windows which helped slightly. You have body wash/shampoo provided but no hair conditioner so we had to go to a nearby local supermarket (called Coop) to buy. There’s also complimentary teas and coffee in the room. Other stuff in the mini fridge is chargeable. Staff are pleasant and helpful."

NO complimentary drinking water! NO complimentary drinking water! A small bottle of water costs €6, and there's nowhere nearby to buy any. If you don't want to fall into this trap, choose this hotel carefully! On our first night, I messaged the hotel asking how to get there by boat but received no reply. We ended up taking a public ferry and then lugging our luggage across a bridge. For guests who aren't strong, it's best to confirm arrival methods in advance! The most outrageous part was being overcharged €48 upon checkout. They charged me for another room's bill (my room number ended in 0, theirs in 6). The signatures were completely different, but they didn't even check. It took ages, and they had an attitude like they were doing me a favor by finally letting me leave. Absolutely ridiculous!"

"I stayed in the 9-bed female dormitory. The room features a keycard-operated auto-lock door. There is 1 toilet and 2 showers inside the room. Under the bunk beds, there are storage drawers with plenty of room for a small suitcase, which can be locked if you bring your own padlock. There is a convenient power outlet and light at the bedside, though there are no curtains. It's a quite large hostel. While having a shared kitchen was convenient, it lacked capacity and got very crowded during dinner time. Another kitchen would have made it much better. In the reception area near the entrance, there is a luggage cage available for free use. This also requires a padlock to secure. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from Venezia Mestre Station, making it a super convenient location even if you are pushing a heavy suitcase. There is an Ali supermarket nearby, which is handy for buying water, vegetables, and ready-to-eat meals."

The reception states that breakfast is between 6:30 and 10:30, but by 9:30 they stop restocking the buffet and replenishing missing items. At 9:45 they start packing up the buffet and turning off the lights. Overall, a comfortable and nice hotel, nothing more."
