Venice Hotels with Bars

This hotel is right next to Mestre Station, the main station! It's about a 2-minute walk, and the path is easy to follow. Even in the middle of the night, it feels safe as long as you head straight back to the hotel. There's a supermarket called Ali? about 2-3 minutes away on foot, where you can buy various groceries. Since there's a kitchen, it seems like a good idea to cook. There are also many Chinese restaurants around the hotel, which might be a plus for Asian travelers. It's a very large hostel with 24-hour staff at the front desk. They kindly allowed an early check-in. There's a bar and a place to grab snacks, a very spacious common lounge, vending machines selling snacks and drinks (e.g., 500ml water for about €1.2, which is reasonably priced), and laundry facilities (washing & drying both cost €4, but it's not available 24 hours). After check-out, you're free to stay in the hotel's common areas. You can also store your luggage in the storage space at the front desk if it's available (a padlock is required). The train ride from the nearest Mestre Station to Venice proper takes about 5-10 minutes (usually one stop) and costs €1.5. The atmosphere is lively, with many students and young people. The rooms are accessed by an auto-locking key. There are 9 beds, and the luggage storage is spacious. There are 8 bunk beds and 1 regular bed. The beds are sturdy, and shaking isn't much of an issue. Each room has 3 sinks, 1 toilet, 2 shower rooms, and 1 hairdryer, so I didn't experience any inconvenience. I think the location, cleanliness, facilities, and service are all top-notch for a dormitory. I would definitely want to stay here again if I come to Venice. I highly recommend it, so if you're undecided, please give it a try.

This hotel is located on Tronchetto, a new island. From Venezia Santa Lucia Station (the last stop), you need to take public boat line 2 towards San Roma. Get off at the third stop, Tronchetto, and the hotel is just a 3-minute walk away. Line 2 is super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious, and breakfast offered a great selection. On our third night, we moved to a hotel near St. Mark's Square, which was also easily accessible by boat. We bought a 72-hour transport pass right when we arrived at the train station on our first day, and it was absolutely worth it! We used it to visit Murano (Glass Island), Burano (Colorful Island), and everywhere else we went!

I would have given them a higher score but we had a few issues. First the restaurant and bar were closed on one of the 2 nights we stayed. For a premium cost hotel I would expect to be able to get a drink in the bar. Breakfast was really poor. It was included in our rate but consisted of stale croissant and pan au chocolat. Poor selection of cured meat and cheese and one bowl of fruit salad. No toast. I asked for an egg and my daughter a crepe. We were charged an extra £25! Hotel was otherwise in a good location and rooms were lovely. New member of staff had started that day and he was brilliant.

The best even hotel I’ve ever stayed in Europe. Super perfect service, highly professional and quality staff, good English, efficient, and take care of my every details. Quality physical condition of the hotel, the hotel is a re-renovated building from a flour mill, so that it is very spacious, my room is big enough also in European hotel. Great location, 15-minute from St Mark’s Sq, chilled island and not distanced but you’ve to take water taxi to get to the hotel Qualify breakfast, an unforgettable enjoyment for my stay Reliable Water shuttle bus - one of the very important services provided by the hotel to go to / from St Mark’s Sq, Euro15 for the whole stay, 30-minute frequency every day. And the hotel also offer complimentary water taxi to Murano Island everyday, so that I can visit both Murano and Burano at the same day.

I had a fantastic stay here! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, directly across from Mestre train station – just a walk across the street. Getting to Venice Island by train is a breeze, taking only a few minutes, which is super helpful for tourists. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable amount of space and a very cozy bed. The overall environment was quiet. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. All the hotel staff were friendly; check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were patient and helpful whenever I had questions. I particularly loved the convenient transportation. Not only is it easy to get to Venice, but taking the bus to the airport is also very convenient. For anyone visiting Venice, I think staying in Mestre is more convenient than staying on the island, and it offers great value for money. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. If I visit Venice again, I'll definitely choose this hotel and recommend it to my friends!

A good place to stay in Venice cheaply. The location is pretty well connected and i strongly recommend taking an independent bus, rather than their shuttle bus service - they drop you off by a busy road and the walk to Venice is not much shorter than the 20min one that you take from the Hotel to a bus stop (and it’s cheaper). I found it very disappointing that my message I sent 2-3 days before my stay with questions, was never read or answered. The room has all needed amenities, and is overall comfortable, however the only table is outdoors. The on-site shop is convenient, with prices not too racked up, so very reliable. However the Hotel restaurant is disappointing. We ordered a pizza and a kids menu burger and fries - the pizza was very average, but the burger was actually just the meat patty and fries?? While it was clearly called a burger on the menu. Additionally, it was neither cheap, or fast service. I’d say this is a good place to stay for a short trip to Venice, especially on the budget, but would not recommend using their extra amenities such as the restaurant or bus.

Lovely hotel , very handy for airport. Nice touch to provide water and croissants to guests on welcome. Nice outdoor space with loungers by the pool, pool too icy to swim in though.. nice high ceilings in superior rooms and comfortable beds. We were impressed with the breakfast, lots of choice for continental, eggs too, a lot of effort gone to. As upper floor to room was quite hot either air con or a fan up there as standard would have made it perfect.

We arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. The hotel is good. Happy breakfast. Little away to the center but close to terminal . Just in front of it a water bus station - fantastic. No much amenities, no coffee , but good but short stays, the room is not quiet, you can hear noise from other rooms.

Very good experience in this hotel. The very large and clean room. The staff very careful and have gluten-free food. Furthermore, it is very close to the Academia bridge that crosses the great channel. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. I therefore recommend it 100%.
