Amazing
GGuest UserVery good location. Especially close to the train station.
They accepted the late check-in, and we felt very welcomed.
There was small issue but they've done alot work for us to be happy and we satisfaied what they offered us.
Special thank to John at the reception. He always smiles and take care of our family every morning when he was in duty.
All staffs were very kind and helful with excellent service.

GGuest UserConsidering its price and location, I honestly can't find anything negative to say. The check-in time is a bit strict, but that's quite common abroad. It's incredibly close to Mestre train station, just a two-minute walk, and there are Illy and Lavazza coffee shops right at the intersection. The six-person dorm room was excellent – very spacious, with a large bathroom and toilet, and a very modern vanity. The entire hostel has a trendy and avant-garde design. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Venice.

GGuest UserTheres no elevator but I dont mind they put me in the second floor , first door to the right , nice carpeted hallway so you dont hear people talking …..nice room, nice bathroom, nice bed… smells good. its the Best! And its very quiet. I will miss the very nice smell and delicate texture of the shower gel. I left at 11:30PM and the narrow street is not dark at all.
There were people coming toward me on the narrow street that night.
This will be my hotel when I come back again.

OOlgaOverall, it's okay. Not a very convenient location. Everything is minimal. But overall, it has what you need. No cigarette smell. Clean linen. Clean. You can leave your suitcase in the luggage storage room. The only thing is that there is some incorrect information about the tourist tax on trip.com, it needs to be edited. Overall, it's a good place.

AAnonymous UserThe only thing good about this hostel is location. I stayed few days there. I saw housekeeping not really done properly, room not vacuumed, shower cream not replaced, everything on the shared table in the room was dumped, even a plate! Charging point not working in most bed.
Kitchen only have one microwave, 3 fridges but don’t put your things in there, because there were thieves who steal food!
Check in after 7pm is a messed and chaos few days ago, or everyday I not sure. System down, people queueing not because business was too good. Was told it happened daily.

RRaluca DascalitaI stayed at La Pergola for 3 nights and it felt very homey to me, like a student dorm room.
It was easy to reach from the Lido SME station, very quiet, my room had plenty of light, a desk to do some work, internet was working properly in the room though I was at the second floor.
The bed was comfy, bed linen was clean, the water was warm and shower had pressure, though the shower head had some holes clogged.
All the basics are there, coffee in the morning is included, and -despite the fact that the room could use a deep cleaning - I think it was great value for money, much better than expected given the previous reviews.
This place will be on my return list in my future travels to Venice.

KKaty16The service was liked, left things in the morning and was furnished to walk. Settled in time, the room is small but everything for convenience is. The bathroom is visible to be renovated. There were soap facilities, fan, towels. For breakfast, cruassan, 2 buffets, jams, coffee. The hotel location is excellent. Of the shortcomings: it was a little dusty in the room and it was cool as well, but there are blankets and climate control.

GGuest UserNo physical reception. Hotel difficult to find by the address given. We had to put the name of the hotel located opposite to find it more easily. Once in front of it, you have to call the number written on the door and it was not correct, however I had the one indicated in the reservation. Once inside, there is a pocket with the name and the room key on the reception counter and we have to look for our room. to just arrive, drop off your suitcases and leave it is okay but otherwise I would not recommend it.

TTee LLWhen we reached, the reception told us that due to unforeseen circumstances,the room that we've booked ( with shared toilet)wasn't available and he offered us another room with private toilet with extra xx€ ( I forgot how much was it) but I refused to pay extra. In the end the reception gave us a free upgrade.
It was written that I should had paid 1.x euro at the hotel but the receiption asked to pay 2€ without giving me a receipt
The room was clean. The location was good. Close to eating places and supermarkets and train station. Travellers with luggages should choose this location. Facing the canal and station is at the back, turn left and after some minutes of walks the hotel is found.
