As guests who just booked the hotel several days ago, we didnāt receive an email about how to find the hotel. So we used google map. But got lost nearby. Thus, we decide to share our experience to help potential guests.
Firstly, when you find this little square with a statuette(picture 1). You can go across the little bridge then turn left. Donāt walk too much. The hotel is just near the bridge. Actually we spent around 30 minutes walked around this place. But seldom people knew this buildingās location . And we got cold because of Octoberās weather in Venice. In short, after going across the bridge, you should turn left and almost immediately turn right. The gate of hotel is close to āCampiello Diegoā and a bar. Unluckily, the phone number on Trip.com is wrong. So we find a number on the door and add the front deskās WhatsApp. The front desk replied immediately, and we finally got the pin and entered the room.
The room is new. And the view is beautiful. Unless the āfinding hotelā process, we like this hotel.
BTW, the restaurant attached is very good. Waiters are helpful and generous there. They will treat you appetizer, dessert and two little cups of alcohol. Their spaghetti is good.

PPranav Patil PHu Venezia Camping Hotel ā A Practical & Surprising Base for Venice
My grate stay at the Hu Venezia Camping Hotel. It offers incredible value and fantastic facilities, making it a great choice for travelers on a budget.
The Accommodation: Think of the rooms as clean, modern wooden cabins. They are compact and very basic ā essentially a āwooden boxā as described, but they have the essential: a comfortable bed, a roof, and a powerful air conditioner. The cleaning is provided once a week, which is perfect for longer stays.
The Resort & USP: The Amazing Pool Complex This is where the hotel truly shines. The property is massive and feels like a resort. The centrepiece is the huge, fantastic swimming pool, which is easily the hotel's Unique Selling Point (USP). Itās a major plus for families, as there's a dedicated area for children, and for adults looking to cool off and relax after a long day of sightseeing in crowded Venice.
The overall atmosphere and interior landscaping of the hotel are really beautiful. It's green, well-maintained, and has a great vibe that makes you forget you're just outside a major city.
Food & Drink There is an on-site restaurant where you can buy affordable meals, snacks, and drinks. A key point to note: there is no room service. The practical approach is to grab your food and take it back to enjoy on your patio or in your room. Also, be aware that coffee sachets are not provided in the room. If you're a coffee lover, I highly recommend bringing your own or buying some at the reception/restaurant.
Location & Connectivity The location is practical for accessing Venice without paying premium prices.
Ā· Shuttle Service: The hotel offers a very convenient shuttle bus to Tronchetto (the gateway to Venice's water transport) every 30 minutes for a reasonable ā¬5 return trip.
Ā· Walking to Venice Mestre: A major discovery was that the Venezia Mestre train station is absolutely within walking distance (about 1.9km or 20-25 minutes). The walk is very safe, even early in the morning (we walked at 5 AM without any issues). This is a huge money-saver for getting trains to Venice Santa Lucia or other cities.
Overall, the Hu Venezia Camping Hotel offers outstanding value for money. Get access to a fantastic resort-style pool and easy connections to Venice.

AAdam23We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that itās three stars in Veniceāwhich is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations.
You wonāt find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choiceāand she turned out to be absolutely right!
We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed.
The amenities were excellentātruly some of the best Iāve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in timeāin the best way possible.
A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated.
Lastly, the location is unbeatableājust a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus.
All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was rightāit really is a great choice!

SShaogangSunHotel location is very close to the train station, the counter staff service is also very good, the overall space is very clean and tidy, but the room is not very soundproof, it is obvious that someone can hear the sound at around 8 o'clock during the day, but basically everyone is very quiet at night, the whole hotel has only five rooms, It's not too messy.

AAnonymous UserThe are only bed and wifi. No other amenities such as refrigerator or water boiler. It is necessary to climb up stairs to go to reception which is in first floor. The hotel has two buildings. Our room is located in 2nd floor of the other building. The staff helped to bring one suitcase and my son bring another one. The booking confirmation email said that check out time is before 12:00. However, the clean up staff knocked our door twice in 9:00 and 10:00 again even though we have put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. In around 10:30, the staff phone to room and said the check out time is 10:30. I told him the confirmation email said that the check out time is 12:00. Finally, we can still stay till 12:00. The communication is not clear.

GGuest UserPerfect location right next to the train station so convenient. The room wasnāt as clean as I was expecting and also we didnāt have hot water for the first two nights. I had to complain at the reception two times to have hot water at my last night. Breakfast was average the blonde girl at the breakfast was extremely rude and had a bad attitude, especially with the kids. The girl at the reception with a brown long hair was so helpful and kind.

HHJaraWhat a pleasant surprise! Location is great only 5 minutes walk from train station. There is one bridge to walk over, easy enough to do with a luggage bag and depending on the time of day/night there are baggage porters at the station whom can take the luggage for a small fee (approximately $5 per bag)
Rooms smaller in size approx 19sqm fitted a Queen and single just enough room to accommodate our minimal time spent in it mostly sleeping as we were out and about exploring anything and everything. No view but window could open and the AC worked well. Small TV and the shower over bath was a bonus also had body wash and hand wash, towels with heated towel rack. Again small but enough for what we needed. View rooms also available. Level 1 and 2 have stairs (no lift) but the staff will assist if you ask however everyone including us took our own luggage.
Great checkin and then meet Angel the following morning whom was able to extend us for two more nights and keep us in the same room. The breakfast was ample consisting of tea/coffee,juice, fruits,pastries,bread with options to toast,deli plate hams,cheeses,tomatoes and the usual Nutella,Jams etc my favourite yogurt and granola/oats.
Best of all location,get a 24,48 or longer public boat pass to use throughout your stay and also takes you to Murano and Burano.

GGuest UserWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor.
I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases.
The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would.
The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed.
The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it.
The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it.
The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket.
The safe was not working.
The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them.
The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working.
You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool.
The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off.
The bathroom bin was broken and filthy
The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am.
I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice
I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy.
We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour.
