Pet friendly Hotels in Venice

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from Santa Lucia train station, making it very convenient for trips to Rome and Florence. There are also many boat terminals nearby for scenic boat tours, so transportation is a breeze. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even provided a free map of Venice. The morning service staff were attentive and thorough. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The room was clean and well-equipped with plenty of power outlets (though adapters are needed). The central air conditioning provides both heating and cooling. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Besides shampoo and shower gel, they also provided body lotion, which was a very thoughtful touch. The heated towel rack was a fantastic detail, ensuring warm towels every time – they really think of the guests! The entire room was very spacious, and the facilities were brand new. The family suite has a unique design and can accommodate four people, offering good privacy.

An amazing hotel with great location and wonderful service!! A true gem situated down an alley of one of the famous shopping streets in Venice. Outstanding location: St. Mark’s square, Grand Canal, Bridge of Sigh’s, all these are key attractions which just within walking distance. More importantly easy access to vaporetto stops which can lead to so many other places in Venice, it’s extremely convenient! Staff are helpful, friendly, attentive and offering to help us on various matters. Excellent service! Rooms are clean, well decorated with traditional Venetian features, nice flowery design. The room is big and offering very nice and peaceful garden views. A great continental breakfast was at the courtyard garden, the atmosphere was so relaxed and enjoyed. It was just the right thing and right place to get a day started. Great value, simply one of my favorites of all time.

We had an amazing stay at the Hotel Abbazia in Venice and would highly recommend this property. This hotel has so much character and charm. The staff are fantastic; so welcoming, personable, and helpful. The buffet breakfast is delicious, 10/10. Everything is made from scratch. There’s an indoor area to eat breakfast and there’s a beautiful garden enjoy to enjoy your breakfast. The location is fantastic; the water bus is a few minutes walk away and the train station is a 5 minute walk. Many restaurants, shopping, and a grocery store are very close. The major attractions are easy to get to and don’t take long to get to. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very clean. The staff are truly amazing! Thank you Mirka, Fabio, Bane, and Rafael for making our stay memorable! A special thank you to the the amazing cook and baker for the fantastic breakfast each morning. Thank you to all staff for a memorable experience. ❤️

Beautifully designed hotel, small but cozy room with all the necessities. Loved that the minibar was complimentary and refilled daily. Good location as well!

This hotel is in the quiet Lido~ If you exit Venice Santa Lucia Train Station, you need to take the Line 5.1 water bus (45-50 minutes) to Lido Station. It takes 17-20 minutes to walk from Lido S.M.E Station. If you have a lot of luggage, such as (2 pieces/more than 2 pieces), it is recommended to call a car directly. It is quite tiring to walk and push the suitcase. The hotel room I was given this time was very large, enough for 4 people~ I booked a double bed room for 1-2 people online (at that time, a friend was still waiting to decide whether to join)~ In the end, my friend was not able to join~ But the room the hotel gave me had 3 beds (1 double bed + 2 single beds) which was a bit unexpected~ It is more suitable for family travel. The hotel environment is very good~ Facing the sea and spring flowers blooming. There is a courtyard, lawn and chairs at the door of the room for rest ~ a strong seaside villa holiday style ~ Hotel facilities: Although the room is large: But I didn't see any slippers. Of course, you have to get water from the minibar ~ and of course you have to buy it yourself ~ This is similar in European hotels. It's within the expected situation. For breakfast - the overall difference between hotels in Europe with a price range of 1-1.5k/night is not big: mainly Western style - bread, milk, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee... Chinese stomachs have to overcome themselves. Travel is also quite convenient. If you need to go to the main island or other islands, walk 1.1 kilometers to Lido Station to take the water bus.

Great location, very convenient for getting around. The room was acceptable overall, and the cleaners were average. However, there were several drawbacks: no mirror or desk in the room, a very small bathroom that was hardly usable, and a low ceiling that made moving around quite difficult.

My mum and I had a wonderful time at Hotel Marconi, and we're so glad we chose it for our trip to Venice. The location is unbeatable it's right on the Grand Canal, directly opposite the Rialto Bridge. Waking up to that view every morning was an absolute dream. It was also very easy to walk everywhere; St. Mark's Basilica was just an 8-minute walk away, and the Rialto Bridge was practically on our doorstep. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They gave us some great advice on where to eat, which we really appreciated. The hotel has so much authentic Venetian charm. We loved the decor; our room was cozy and beautifully decorated in a classic Venetian style with lovely furniture. It had all the modern amenities we needed, like air conditioning, free WiFi, and a minibar. The included breakfast buffet was another highlight. It was a delicious way to start our day of exploring before we headed out to see the sights. We felt completely safe and comfortable as two women traveling together. It was the perfect base for us, combining old-world atmosphere with a great central location. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a true Venetian experience!

This hotel has a fantastic location! The water bus station and gondola boarding point are right outside, and St. Mark's Square and St. Mark's Basilica are just steps away. The Doge's Palace is also nearby—all the attractions are very close. There are also many restaurants downstairs, where you can enjoy a meal while soaking up the sun and watching the gondolas pass by. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the service was very friendly. The breakfast was very plentiful and I was very satisfied. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time; it offers the best value for money.

The hotel is well located for the Rialto bridge, that is its main attribute. It is old, as expected, and the rooms/bathroom/lift are all showing their age, but with such a building there is inevitably a difficulty in modernising it and holidaymakers should expect this. We did not eat evening meals in the restaurant, with so much choice around us, but had the continental breakfast -  average, not worth changing your plans for, carbs, carbs, and more carbs. All in all, I would stay there again, for the location
