"The location is fantastic, directly opposite the train station, and it's just a one-stop, 10-minute train ride to the main island. You don't have to drag your luggage around for ages. The room was spacious and clean, definitely up to four-star standards.
My only minor complaints are that they don't provide complimentary bottled water. All drinks in the mini-fridge are chargeable, even the water (every other hotel I stayed at in Italy and France provided complimentary bottled water, this was the only exception). They advertise laundry service, but there's no washing machine; they send it out, and the prices are exorbitant. I'm leaving this review for everyone's reference (P.S. The drinks menu and laundry prices are in a folder on the desk, you'll need to look for it yourself)."

"The room was big and spacious; there was a double bed and a set of twin beds. There were two small balconies from which you could see the national library. The toilet was ok, the shower would flood and there was a wooden beam kinda hanging loose. Unfortunately, the room is not soundproof and you can hear the noise from the upstairs and neighbouring rooms (especially the toilet noises)."

"The hotel is a bit far from the main pier, it takes 10 or 20 minutes to walk, and you have to wait by bus, which is not very frequent. There is a close pier but not commonly used so it is not useful. The breakfast was good and the waiters were very courteous, worthy of praise! Instead, the person who should be the owner of the house at check-in is average. Room booked for 3 days, no hot water the next morning! Take a cold shower! It's cold to sick 😑 The photos of the room are too beautiful 😅"

"We have stayed in this hotel only for the weekend but we had an amazing experience with the hotel staff in breakfast and dinner. So nice to all the customers and always with a smile on their faces. I would be choosing this hotel again next on my visit to Venice. As we don’t like the crowded places the location is great, rooms are clean and nice nothing old or not cleaned. 10 minutes from Venice by bus 5. Bus stop outside the hotel literally. Same bus can take you from airport to hotel and back. Buy 72 hours tkt in the hotel and you can use it for murano burano and for buses with train. Price is 45€. In general ana amazing price experience good food in the hotel. 100% suggest it."

For Bus, you can buy tickets from receoption!! nice.. but then you have to walk 15 minutes to number 24/24H bus to go to Venice, or you can go from hotel 10 mins to T1 tramway but ride is longer .. but for 1.5E per bus/tram ticket better walk instead of parking your car in Venice for approx. 25E, or cheaper but scammy car parks, unsafe..
Staff from reception and kitchen generous.. very very spacious rooms, safe and medium fridge in the room without freezer. Bathroom is equipped also, lights on the bed in heart shape is a nice idea for honeymooners.. AC is working good, breakfast was cheap and not bad. Overall I liked it here and I'd come again. Minus one star for atm surcharge"

"Hotel Tito in Venice Mestre turned out to be much nicer and more convenient than many reviews had led me to expect. The location was perfect for getting around, and I appreciated simple comforts like the mini fridge in the room and the shared kettle and microwave in the common area. While the space was generally pleasant, it could use a bit more dusting and some upgraded duvet covers. The walls are a bit thin toward the shared hallway, so you can hear very late arrivals if they're loud, though I never heard anything through the actual bedroom walls. Overall, I genuinely liked my stay and found it to be a straightforward, comfortable base for exploring the area!!"

"The hotel is very close to the train station, which is convenient for getting around or catching a train.
The front desk staff heard we were in a hurry to catch our train, so they checked us in very quickly. We were also able to store our luggage, and they even took us directly to our room afterwards. The service was excellent! The front desk staff were also very friendly.
The room was quite spacious, the bed was clean, and the bathroom was clean. The water pressure for the shower was a bit unstable, and if you showered for a longer time, the water temperature would fluctuate between hot and cold. The air conditioning was very powerful and kept the room warm, though it was a bit dry. Although it's very close to the train station, it wasn't noisy at all; overall, it was quiet."

❤❤️travellingMy flight was in the morning from MXP, so I left the hotel at 4 am. I asked the front desk at least 5 times about where is the ferry station and time table, which Lorenzo gave me very accurate answer and printed out the time table, indicated the station on map for me. However, the station that he gave me was wrong( I arrived 10 mins in advance ) so I missed the ferry at 4:21….there was absolutely no one in anywhere near the station so I desperately rushed back with my luggages to the hotel, where there is an older guy in the front desk said it’s the next station after the one Lorenzo gave me, which means one more bridge. Yet, I did ask this older guy before I left the hotel at 4 and he was very sure. When the second time i doubted him he said “ you can wherever u like lady!” There was no empathy, as if it’s none of their business! Second time I rushed to the correct station n took the ferry at 4:55 and I missed the train to Milan! Buying another italo ticket wasn’t a problem but it’s about life and limb! I’m just hoping the front desk could be more professional n check really carefully when they give suggestion. I would definitely miss my flight if there was no Italo fast train, plus I took taxi right after I arrived Milano centrale to make it!
Room was small couldnt open big luggage but it was clean, the cleaning lady deserved a big tip! I like they provide water and slippers. The view from my room is authentic.
The hotel is convenient if u r around San Marco square or you always have to go to bathroom.
If u r taking night ferry to Santa Lucia Train station Ferrovia, remember is on the right END station from San Marco, it’s another bridge u have to cross.

NNuannuanshengdanThis is by far the hostel with the best facilities I've ever stayed in. It's spacious, new, clean, and tidy, both the individual rooms and the common areas! The kitchen is a bit small, but it has a very large dining area. I also saw quite a few Asian faces around. I stayed in a 7-bed dorm that was split into two sections, four on one side and three on the other, and it wasn't even fully booked. They have a self-service coffee machine and a huge study and internet area.
While the room itself was excellent, one particular roommate I encountered here was the worst I've met on this trip. In hostels, people usually respect sleep schedules, but this person kept the lights on while others were sleeping and used the hairdryer constantly. I guess that might be a downside of having the bathroom inside the room.
Dining was super convenient, especially with many cheap Chinese restaurants nearby. I highly recommend the small canteen; their rice cakes tasted exactly like the ones from Ningbo, absolutely delicious!
Its location is directly opposite the train station, making it very easy to get to Venice's main island. I only stayed for one night, but if you have more time, you could definitely stay longer and explore the smaller islands around Venice.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on a separate island, and you can take the hotel's water shuttle to and from San Marco as many times as you like during your stay for only 15 euros per person. The island where the hotel is located is much quieter than the main island, and the price is very reasonable, with larger room types. There's also direct public transport from the train station, which you can catch in front of KFC. Regarding the hotel environment, it's generally good, but the facilities are a bit old. However, the room size, at 27-28 square meters, is quite spacious for European travel. Overall, it's pretty decent.

AAnonymous UserBreakfast was decent, and they even had a DIY waffle station, which was fun. Perhaps because it was Carnival, it was very busy with lots of tour groups. They even set up an additional buffet area in a separate corner to manage the crowd during peak times.
The hotel is in a newly reclaimed area, making it quite remote. The only transport options are the water bus and the slow, driverless monorail. It's more suitable for those traveling by car or with a tour group.
However, Venice itself is quite small. If the weather is good and you don't mind walking a bit further, you can still reach the main city center on foot.

AAnonymous UserSimple but clean hotel. Staff is also kind. It was close to the station and 20 minutes walk from the real bridge, so it was easy to sightsee.
I was able to leave my luggage before check-in, but I was a little scared that it would be stolen because I just left it next to the receptionist, but it was okay.
In the room, there was a shower room, TV, refrigerator, valuable box, kettle, coffee and tea.
Check out was easy because I only left the key on the desk in the room.

The main drawback is the location, as it is a bit far from public transportation and the path to get there feels somewhat unsafe (but it is not). In addition, in our room the toilet cubicle was extremely small; when sitting down, your feet touched the door, which was uncomfortable.
Also, during check-in at rush hour (around 6–7 pm), they should have more staff available. We had to wait in line for about 20–30 minutes.
Despite these issues, it is still a good option if you don't care about walking 20 minutes to get into public transportation.

AAdam23We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations.
You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right!
We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed.
The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible.
A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated.
Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus.
All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

GGuest UserI received a message from the store in advance, explaining the route in detail. Take bus No. 2 from the train station and get off at the stop before the Riya Tow Bridge. After getting off the bus, follow the instructions and walk for 5 minutes to the hotel. Go to the second floor to complete the check-in formalities and then work. Staff took 10 minutes to walk to the apartment. Our room is on the second floor, with 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings and a washing machine. The apartment is not in a busy area and is very quiet. It's a few minutes' walk to the river, very convenient. There is a market by the river in the morning where you can buy ingredients, and the seafood is fresh and cheap. Although prices are high in Venice, it is very cheap to buy water and food from supermarkets and markets.

GGuest UserWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor.
I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases.
The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would.
The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed.
The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it.
The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it.
The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket.
The safe was not working.
The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them.
The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working.
You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool.
The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off.
The bathroom bin was broken and filthy
The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am.

AAnonymous UserVery good experience in this hotel. The very large and clean room. The staff very careful and have gluten-free food. Furthermore, it is very close to the Academia bridge that crosses the great channel. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. I therefore recommend it 100%.
